We did not like the system. No one around, food is served by the pre-filled list, that at the time of arrival, we did not think seriously . After serving staff disappeared and when we niticed there was coffee but no milk there was no one to ask.

Upon arrival we were met by a receptionist. An hour later he disappeared. We needed some assistance but there was no one to ask. An hour or more later I found him makmaking up the room next to ours. So I could ask the question I wanted to.

Everything was perfect, just as we expected. Calm place, perfect breakfast, mountain view, the historical background of the building itself and hosts are fascinating.

A very peaceful location with an incredible view of Manteigas. Very comfortable room. Friendly staff. Hiking trails from the hotel. Offered a tour of nearby Ecolã factory, producing traditional burel fabric.

A little way out of town (hence the great views) thus a 20-30 min walk to restaurants etc if you weren’t driving.

Loved the place! The staff was super kind and caring, the room had an absolutely amazing view and everything was furnished in style. The bathroom was super spacious and loved the fragrance of the shower gel/shampoo - very special.

A charming hotel inside and out. Rooms with a large window overlooking the view. Cool design, good breakfast, kind and pleasant staff. Great location.

While we were at the place, the spa services did not work. There is not enough storage space for clothes

Excellent breakfast, best joghurt ever. All items you choose the night before from a list are waiting for you at the table. Big surprise, the owner himself serves breakfast and does the tour at the factory.

I would have liked to go for a swim before breakfast, but the pool opens only at 10am.

An amazing stay! Lovely hotel with thoughtful decor, very clean and spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast was good and the staff was extremely polite and helpfull. Beautiful place overall.

Indoor Pool was a bit too cold for the time of the year, also there isn't a covered parking spot available, which could be a problem during bad weather, but understandably there isn't space for one

The location and views were great, and the room confortable. The breakfast was really nice and the staff was lovely

No separation between the outside spaces of the room, you end up sitting outside right next to the guests of the next room

It's a very peaceful place, very quiet. The decoration is very simple and lovely. The receptionist Sara is adorable, very helpful and professional, made us feel at home right away. The view is awesome. It was all perfect.
