Very well situated with on street parking in this quiet town, a short walk from a good restaurant (O Barrigas). This is an exceptional place to stay. Great attention to detail. Not just the excellent breakfast of juice/cereal/tea/coffee/rolls/toast/croissants/cakes/fresh fruit..... but also the ambience. Spacious rooms with very high ceilings and well appointed, and with very comfortable beds. Electric heaters in the bedroom and in the lounge a log fire was lit in the evening for when we returned from the restaurant. What more can one ask for?

The owner was friendly and helpful. The Bedroom was spacious and beautifully furnished in the period of the House. The bathroom was clean and spacious. We were allowed to use the lounge room and the continental breakfast in the dining room was superb.

It was all superb.

The location is perfect, the house is amazing it looks like going back in past. The owners are very helpful, good breakfast and toilet with hot water 24/7. There is a bidet.

Perhaps something to out the toiletries when taking shower would be helpful.

beautiful historic home, very warm and inviting. the woman(Guida, I think) was extremely accommodating. She offered to do our laundry (3euros) we had quite a pile, we picked it up in the morning from the drying rack. we left a bit earlier than scheduled breakfast, and she made coffee and put out food to accommodate us..highly recommend this property

Beautiful traditional Portuguese house. Room was well, appointed, clean and comfortable. Private bathroom was fitted to a high standard (bath, shower, sink, bidet). Host was caring and supportive when I arrived late and hungry - such a lovely host. Thank you!

There was absolutely nothing I did not like about this amazing property.

Fantastic stop on our camino journey. I wanted to stay for a couple of days, unfortunately we had to walk on. Host was very gracious and super accommodating. Loved the patio, bonus was her beautiful and friendly dogs. Perfect place to stop on the camino and experience true Portuguese hospitality.
