The main building and the rooms in the main building are special, good taste. Bed comfortable, not too narrow. The pool is pretty large for a hotel so good for swimming.

The building behind the main building and the rooms there are terrible, badicalöy a different hotel than the main building! Very old stylish and in fact old, estimazedly from the 1980‘ies given the old style. It smells like in a pool or sauna somewhat. On booking.com the room picture are from the MAIN building! So, very, very misleading!!! We did not accept the room in the old building and insisted on a room in tve main building, which we got after some nehotiation and serious insisting. Otherwise we would have insisted on a refund and cancellation.

Beautiful property, situated in the centre of the town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant in the facilities with well prepared dishes and great service. Excellent breakfast, good quality produce. Good SPA facilities and nice pool. Great rooms (stayed in the main house), super clean and confortable. Parking on site is very convenient.

Only great things to say about the staff, except for breakfast service. This must be improved, starting with a more constant presence in the breakfast room. it is also important to be more attentive to the needs of the guests and cleaning used tables.

We absolutely loved our experience at Hotel Lusitano. The environment, the building, the restaurant, bar, swimmingpool, spa... all excellent. The staff was amazing. We have really enjoyed our experience at the hotel and the area. Golegá and the surrounding villages and parks are really worth a visit.

An exceptional hotel. The rooms and facilities are spacious, tranquil and very clean. However the best part about this hotel are the staff. Always going above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible and no request is to much trouble for them. During our stay, we unfortunately suffered a medical issue, the staff at the hotel were amazing and we cannot thank them enough.

Everything!! this should be a five star rated hotel. The staff are absolutely lovely, the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We have felt so welcomed, no problem to stay longer when we had requested it. Great location in a beautiful village. Its a real gem. Great breakfast too and the home made bread is to die for. The building itself is truly beautiful and has a wonderful ambiance. I wish we could stay here longer…… will definitely be coming back!

The hotel is simply fabulous and relaxed. The rooms are very well designed, very comfortable and super clean. We loved the spa and indoor pool and we strongly recommend getting a massage there. The restaurant has great food and we didn't even want to go out for dinner. One of the high points was without any doubt the staff. We will definitely be coming back!

It's hard to point out negative points when you see that the hotel is so well taken care of, but the only three points worth mentioning was the floatation bath being closed, one of the buttons in the jacuzzi was broken and the balcony could use some outdoor chairs to relax. But these are almost insignificant remarks.

First visit to this Hotel and we loved it. We were sent here on a referral from another hotel as one of our party has limited mobility and the Hotel Lusitana was extremely accomodating. The pool, full spa, outdoor bar and restaurant are all top notch. Plenty of parking. The staff was very nice, particularly Ms. Joana at reception. We will stay there again in the future for sure.

Everything! We went in march so there wasn't many other customers around. Staff was always nice and accommodating, the food omg! We loved the breakfast and dinner at the property. The spa is very pleasant, the garden is big with spots to sit down and relax with drinks. The only downside was that we only booked a weekend instead of a whole week.

Large comfortable room and easy secure parking. The reception people were helpful and pleasant. The restaurant was good in the evening and the breakfast was really good with lots of choices. Quiet town but a good position to visit the area.
