The rooms are beautiful: extra-comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished. There are two rooms which share a separate kitchen, living room and terrace, and there was no-one else there with me, so I had the whole space to myself. There's a little wooden building in the car park that operates as a well-stocked bar in the evening, and offers excellent coffee in the morning. The location is peaceful and you can walk into Lamego but you need good legs, as the 'short cut' is down (and up) the baroque staircase of the Santuário de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios (to either side of the staircase is woodland and other pathways). The staff could not have done more to ensure my comfort.

Fantastic and freshly renovated place with a distinct character. We stayed in a room which had access to a kitchen and a terrace. Located within a short walking distance from the sanctuary complex. Parking lots designated to the guests with cars/campers by Carla, who is an amazing hostess. A cosy outdoor bar on the territory and a lovely and friendly dog named Goonga.

Host gave a good overview of the local wineries. The rooms were spacious and we had the whole floor for ourselves. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hosts made our stay enjoyable.

It was the big surprise of our trip: we had not expected to find a top quality room with a fully equipped living room when we booked a room in a camping hotel. A detail, but we very much liked the woven logo in the towels and bed sheets...

Everything was very good. Walking distance to the monastery, and then 1000 steps down to town, and taxi back. Nice dinner in the garden. Outdoor, but partly covered . In October a jacket needed. Everything very well organized. The terrain is hilly.

OMG. That was an unbelievable experience! We did not expect much from "camping", but had a luxurious personalised stay. The host was unbelievably attentive and friendly, gave us some tips about the area and so made our trip absolutely unforgettable. The room was tastefully decorated, hall very accommodating, fully equipped kitchen! Extensive bar and wine collection available at the main building allowed us spend an amazing night at huge terrace of our room. Bed was comfy as home, shower strong and hot. And the owners dog was a cherry on top - gentle super friendly giant. We will definitely come back for a longer stay. This place is a dream. People who created it really took hospitality to the next level. Bravo!

Fantastic ! I'm not a camper, read reviews and was a bit concerned about how the other rooms would be. Took a chance, so glad I stayed here, would return for sure. Loved the outdoor bar area in courtyard. Owners are super nice. Lovely area just above the village.

Probably the best place you can find. Very cozy with private parking also for campers. Beautiful house, very clean rooms with extra large living room together with kitchen and big terrace. Whole place looks very stylish. Very nice and kind stuff prepared for us tasty breakfast with a little and very kind surprise. On our side this place need 12*
