location, large room with nice private balcony, quiet. the best was the owner/manager francisco, and the whole staff. i name him because we had the most contact with him, but everyone was wonderful. it’s run like an old fashioned bed and breakfast, with hands on help for any questions or needs.

only one small thing…we love a room refrigerator these days when we travel.

The staff was absolutely excellent from the day prior to my arrival till I left they were courteous and attentive. I had to leave early for a tour and they ensured that I had breakfast at 7:30am. And they asked about my dietary preferences as well. So it was excellent! The linen and the bathroom were excellent as well.

The room that I chose could be done better for the money charged. Also there was construction going on in the next building which was right outside the window. Lastly, the breakfast could have some more selection for the price being asked. Also the coffee in the room could be better.

Such a cute place! I felt like a princess in the room. The bed was so comfortable (reasonably firm, which is great for my back). The bathroom was so nice with an amazing bathtub. Super clean and well-appointed. Great breakfast and super cute neighborhood!

Only suggestion is to add a carpet in the hall/up the stairs and/or door jamb that might block some of the noise. It’s an old building so there might not be anything that can be done but noise echoed up the stairs and hallway fairly loudly. Wasn’t bad at all, just mainly when anyone came home late in the evening and in the morning when other guests were going down to breakfast.

Beautiful, large, light, clean apartment with high ceilings in a wonderful part of the city. Very welcoming staff, nothing was too much trouble. Delightful breakfast included. I will happily return

A better touch would be if the coffee was freshly made (not from an automated machine).

We loved the historic building on a nice quiet street only a block from restaurants and bars. Very quiet, very romantic and I enjoyed the soaking tub. So glad that there was a stand up shower too. The bed was equal to two twins put together to make a very large king size which they often call a "double". Very comfortable. We were very please with our room the extremely high ceilings. There breakfast was very good. The breakfast room was bright and cozy. It got us off to a good start for the day. The staff was wonderful and very attentive.

Really lovely place to stay for our time in Lisbon. Quiet, comfortable, lovely staff, walkable to lots of delicious places to eat. I would say definitely walk down to Magnolia (About 5-10mins down the hill from the place) as there is a lovely mini park there too. ONE POINT OF NOTE: They kindly arranged for a taxi pick up (on my request). They told me upfront it was EUR 35. However, to make others aware, a normal taxi from the airport is cheaper. and the metro even cheaper again! So I suggest doing that.

Great location. Close enough to all the main areas and easy transport links but on a quiet road so you still get a good nights rest. The Principe Real area is full of lovely restaurants - you won’t struggle for choice. Room was spotless, super spacious, airy and has everything you need. The staff were all really lovely and helpful throughout our stay, especially when we needed to leave our bags after check out. Would recommend for anyone coming to Lisbon!

We had the double room on the ground floor which had the advantage of not having to climb up any stairs to your room but we were subject to the noise of other guests coming up/down the stairs and coming through the front door. I think this is quite common for houses of this age and it was fine for us but if you’re a light sleeper, you may consider it a little noisy.

It was beautiful, tall ceilings, immaculate & staff where fantastic.

doors are thin, having a room on the ground floor you could hear everytime the door slammed and when people come up and down the stairs through the evenings

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. The breakfast each morning was simple but with enough variety for all tastes. The staff was outstanding and attentive, always concerned if we were okay.

Our room was right on the street with large lovely windows. Even though the B&B is located on a side street, there was a fair amount of street noise at night which could be tough for light sleepers (like me).

Very nice variety of options for breakfast. The room was very comfortable for two people and provided lots of space, lighting, TV entertainment and air conditioning. The neighborhood is beyond amazing with lots to do and see, yet calm and quiet for relaxing.

The bathroom shower door did not completely close, therefore it was a very wet on the floor. Very easy to fix, so this issue is very minimal. Overall, amazing place to stay in Lisbon.
