Everything was new because the hotel was just renovated. They did a really nice job with the renovation and the room was very nice! Great central location and my room had a nice view of the plaza. It was very quiet in the room despite the busy area. Great water pressure and also the AC worked very well. The front desk staff, especially the two guys that were there in the afternoon/evening, were very friendly and helpful!

The room I stayed in was quite small (albeit it very nice) so not a lot of space for luggage. Would also be nice if they added a little shelf of some kind in the shower to put your stuff on so you don’t have to put it on the ground.

Excellent location!!! Perfect for connections everywhere as well as walking distance to many top attractions. Staff were very polite and professional, the service felt better than 3 stars for sure. Comfortable bed and good bathroom despite being tiny. Very clean. Nice wine and treat on arrival too. We would stay again :)

Rooms weren't very soundproof- we had to close the bathroom door as we could hear pipes banging through the walls. We slept fine after closing it though & it wasn't constant sound, just a little noise when others were using the water I think. We don't eat breakfast but as a heads up this place is probably not great for vegans/those sensitive to butchery, since the connected restaurant is a pork place with legs hanging above you... (we went at night and they do great ham tho lol)

Such a beautiful property in the heart of Lisbon. Surprised this is only a 3 star hotel as it deserves more. The staff were extremely friendly and our room was beautiful overlooking the city and plaza across the road. Great air conditioning and a super comfortable bed!

Nothing! Would recommend to everyone! Only downside was no fault of the hotel at all - unfortunately we noticed a few homeless people sheltering nearby the hotel entrance in the backstreet, and rubbish constantly splattered nearby the hotel entrance. Felt a bit uneasy walking by here at night but within 10 metres you’re on a busy main road lit up with shops and people. Inside the hotel was exceptionally clean and glamorous.

- The location of this property is amazing, you can walk anywhere from the hotel and reaching public transport is also very easy. - The staff was very friendly, helpful and kind. I felt myself cared for during all my interactions. - The hotel was brand new, clean, and the rooms were very comfortable. Overall, I had great time during my stay and strongly recommend the hotel.

For my price level, I didn't have a window facing an open view, it was facing between the buildings, that is the only thing I can think of as negative. Otherwise, nothing at all.

The location was perfect. It was situated between main neighbourhoods across the city and was very well connected, but was tucked away on a quiet street. The windows were noise cancelling though, so you could close them to block out any street noise. Rossio station was right around the corner and it was walking distance to main attractions. The bed was extremely comfy and the shower was exceptional. The bed was made every day and the cleanliness of the place was fantastic. Our room wasn't massive, but we didn't need it to be as we were out most of the day - coming back for a rest before we headed out in the evening again. When we arrived we were greeted with such warmth and a staff member (unfortunately we can't remember his name) took the time to give us some detailed information about the city and how to take a trip to Sintra. He didn't have to give us any tips, but it was very useful and an added bonus. It was such a wonderful way to welcome us to our Hotel and to Lisbon! You also get a free welcome mini Pastel de nata or a shot of a wine similar to Port. The breakfast staff were very polite and friendly and the breakfast always had a range of options. Overall the hotel staff would be willing to help you with any query and were super friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon for the first time!

Nothing - everything was perfect.

Beautiful room, and amazing facilities. The hotel location is perfect, in a very central area with easy access to the metro etc. Buffet breakfast was pretty good (not too much day to day variety). Staff were exceedingly helpful and polite. Also love the complementary custard tart and wine when checking in.

Only feedback I have is that the laundry booking form can be a bit misleading - the form currently says that sending laundry before 10am means it'll come back by 10pm the same day. Mine came back 10pm the next day. Not a huge issue, but I expect that if someone is running on a tight timescale, they may not realise how long it will actually take.

It is a new hotel very tastefully designed, located in the city center, close to many restaurants and attractions. The staff was helpful and cheerful. I was upgraded to a beautiful room and was given complimentary wine and pastels de nata on arrival, plus a water bottle and coffee.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Nicola for the few days we were in Lisbon. The staff are some of the most kind, welcoming staff we have ever met. They were so helpful, especially Lara who was particularly kind and attentive, giving us plenty of recommendations on places to see and eat. We were also given pastel de nata and offered wine on arrival, which was a nice touch. The room was very comfortable, very clean and with a great coffee machine. The beds were very soft and the room was quiet at night. The hotel is very central, close to the Baixa and Chiado districts and near metro stations and the Rosario train station.

The shower was a wet room and flooded very quickly which was a bit of a pain. The shampoo, body wash and soap didn’t lather very well and weren’t great, but not too much of an issue.

Location was fantastic - right next to the train station to get to Sintra and within walking distance of the main spots. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They greeted us with port and tarts on arrival and let us use store our luggage and use the facilities on departure day. The room had a great view over Rossio Square and was very well decorated.

Room was quite small, e.g. had to squeeze to get around the bed. Breakfast not included. Facilities were fine but nothing amazing e.g. no pool, no rooftop, so felt a little expensive for what we got.

Really nice hotel with friendly and attentive staff. The room was nice and clean. The location is great - close to many attractions and metro but not on the most loud street. The breakfast was quite good. A welcome drink and pastel de nata were definitely adding to the experience :)

It was very cold during breakfast (in February/March) because the restaurant area wasn't really isolated much from the outdoors (nor was it heated). Coffee wasn't great for my taste (both in the room and during breakfast). After 1 time of cleaning we were missing all the towels in the room, after another time - there were no garbage bag in the trash bin, but everything was getting fixed when we communicated it, so not a big deal. And personally we didn't find the pillows very comfortable. These weren't big disadvantages for us though, we still enjoyed our stay.
