This location cannot be beat! In the “flat” part of town. Rain was expected during our visit so this was important as the calcada floor tiles are very slippery when wet! Close to many shops, restaurants and metro/bus/trolley stops. Major plus was the elevator (rare for old Lisbon buildings!) for transporting luggages and certainly a relief after a day walking the hills of Lisbon.

Upon arrival the bathroom sink was draining extremely slowly (stopped up?) but it was remedied very quickly. Sofa bed was provided but bedding was not complete- again easily resolved. We would have appreciated some guidance written in English on how to use the washing machine. We had to Google the user manual the that particular model and go from there.

1. Location was great, just a block away from the the busy Rua Augusta. Plenty of food options nearby. 2. It has a washing machine. Really comes in handy when we’re traveling for a long period of time. 3. The ‘contactless’ check in / check out process. Everything was done online, even when we arrived and had to get our apartment through the kiosk, I liked not having the tedious process of dealing with people personally. All the instructions were clear and we checked in and out smoothly. 4. Plenty of storage space and hangers for clothes.

1. Creaky floors. The noise can be distracting at night. 2. Street noise can be heard even with all the windows closed.

really nice apartment. perfect that you can check-in by yourself, so it’s definitely a plus for introverts. great location, nice view from window. cleanness 10/10

hairdryer was awful. please change it to normal one. you cannot dry your hair with this “thing”. it’s not powerful at all and was turning of during process

We booked this apartment for its location, kitchen and washing machine and it delivered on all counts. The location is on the flat part of Lisbon and perfectly situated to walk to many attractions or catch transport. So many shops and restaurants and even a supermarket too. The communication via the message function on Booking.com was always prompt and positive. I had hesitation about there not being anyone at a reception and it all being digital but in the end it worked okay. The online registration beforehand is a must to avoid queues at the one digital kiosk in the main building. The online registration and payment of city taxes was a little clunky but worked, as did the codes. There is a free telephone near the kiosk for help, which we used twice. Responses were quick and helpful. The apartment is spacious enough and comfortable, including the sofa bed. The kitchen was well equipped. The housekeeping lady Adriana was wonderful. Everything was spotlessly clean and she was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

Comments in reviews refer to the noises you can hear from upstairs and outside. It is an old building so while it is true, we did not find it was a problem. Due to the age of the building the power cuts out if you are using too many appliances at the one time. However, we used the free phone to call and someone was around very quickly to show us how to reboot the power by pressing a particular switch.

The location is perfect, very close to the public transport and main sights. The room was of decent size and was cleaned well. The check-in and check-out procedure was very simple and convenient.

There were some construction works in the building nearby and some days you could have heard the construction noise from 7am! Also, a street musician was playing outside in the evening and, since one of the windows could not be locked properly, we could hear his music very clearly until 11pm. I believe this is something that could have been communicated by the property beforehand.

The location was perfect! Near the pedestrian zone, the wonderful square Commercial, great for exploring Lisbon on foot. There was a great little restaurant just in front of the apartment - Cataplana, where we had wonderful dinner (grilled octopus and sardines). The apartment was spacious and had all that you could need for a city sightseeing visit.

The bedroom windows opened to a very narrow alley between two buildings and there were always some strong cooking smells, probably coming from one of the many restaurants nearby, so it was difficult to get some fresh air into the bedroom, but it was not too bad. The toilet bowl was not as clean as I expected, could use some harsher chemicals

The location was excellent and walking distance from restaurants, bars, shops and attractions. It was very quiet at night. The room had plenty of windows and natural sunlight. The room was very clean on arrival and easy to check in at the kiosk.

We were not able to gain entry to the main entrance prior to check-in time. Due to this we where not informed ahead of time the address to drop off our luggages. Customer service in regards to answering questions wasn't efficient and reponses seem very generic. No amenities such as lotion and conditioner for hair.

Our stay was great. It had ALL the ammenities one could need during a self catering stay. Property was easy to find, close to the main attractions and easy area to order a taxi or getting to a public transport stop. It was clean and safe. Would definitely recommend. Aircon, dishwasher and hairdryer are some of the items that came in very handy during our stay. Lovely balcony to view the bustling walking street and noise blocking doors to keep it out when you need a good night's sleep.

The check in at the Kiosk was a bit confusing and we still do not know where the "lockers" are you were able to leave the luggage in but it really didn't hinder our stay.

Great location, tram station very close ,easy way from Airport if you travel light (need to change line once) . nice apartment, well equipped and very clean

Elevator is small and very slow, somedays we had to wait quite long (3-5 minutes) our apartment was on the 4th floor
