Wow, what a beautiful, unassuming boutique hotel! It was absolutely quiet with comfy beds, excellent showers, and lovely breakfast is included. The location is perfect for a relaxed holiday with the beach just meters away. But it's the staff who are absolutely delightful and helpful that made our stay exceptional. We highly recommend.

Hotel location was perfect! 3min walk to the beach. Bus stops are very close by. Shops and supermarket within 5-10min stroll. As a solo traveller, we tend to be allocated rooms with views of a car park or a wall, but I could see the sea and the sunset from my room! The bathroom was spacious, shower had very good pressure. There was a small fridge in the room (it made no sound) which was handy as I have food intolerances.

The only sad thing about the room is the bed pillows were smaller than standard, like a child size. I had 3 of them, so I managed with them during my short stay.

Check in fine, Room was smaller but bed very comfortable and we were located next to an adjoining room with very noisy unsettled children from 6am (thankfully checking out), other than that grand for the duration, bathroom great, toiletries great plus, tv good, mini fridge and kettle handy. Cleaners meticulous. Breakfast grand considering but coffee was awful. Breakfast room was more like a cafeteria. Glad I brought the Barry's teabags! Pool and sunning deck was lovely - huge plus Views all round were lovely - especially the fortress. Area all around hotel fantastic, tram and bus into city - walk to Matosinhos and bus back recommended! Location was so good we were happy not to venture into city some days. Bar prices were ridiculously high Tenacoes no prato restaurant on a side street behind is THE best hidden secret...

Bigger Room, better coffee, lower prices in bar would mean it woudn't be empty and would have some atmosphere!

This is not my first time at this hotel, and I plan to return again. It has a perfect location - a short walk away from the beach and with a convenient bus access to the city centre. I also like the breakfast, as there are a lot of options available.

People loitering next to the hotel entrance and asking for money, food, or cigarettes. It's a harrowing experience. Mind you, they don't look homeless, which would be ok (as they have no other choice), but rather just trying to get something from tourists. Hotel's security might want to look into this.

We chose this hotel to relax and celebrate New Year's, and I can say for certain that I really liked this hotel. It was very clean and very warm. All the furniture was fresh in the sense that it looked good and was fully functional. The room was very warm, which was so important to me. Cold is very harmful for me and I was endlessly happy that the room was warm. I would even say hot. The hotel is located near the ocean and the promenade. A small park is also nearby. The location is beautiful. Breakfast was included and I can say it was very tasty and there was plenty to choose from. I liked it. Additionally, the hotel has a gym, but we didn't use it. And there's a rooftop pool, but since it was January, we didn't go swimming in it x). If you're planning to go to Porto for New Year's, my advice to you is to bring warm clothes. At night, there's a cold wind, and if you want to go for walks, you'd better dress very warmly. Personally, I made this mistake and didn't bring warm clothes with me. Therefore, on January 1st, after a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we went to sleep and rest in our room because I absolutely didn't want to walk in the cold. And I didn't regret at all that we stayed in the room. Recommended. I would stay there again.

The hotel is very nicely located just steps away from the ocean side, with a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants around. We really enjoyed our stay because the hotel is clean, comfortable and has good variety of food for breakfast.

There were only very tiny details that I could name as disadvantages: our room didn't have a balcony which is not very convenient if you want to dry wet towels after spending time on the ocean side. Also, I found the pillows not comfortable but this is just my personal opinion. Other than that, everything was very nice!

Beautiful view from the rooftop pool area- just as the name says! Very Clean rooms- great connecting side by side arrangement since we traveled 2 adults & 2 teens — shower has fantastic pressure — breakfast was delicious- Staff was pleasant to deal with. Great toiletries- sewing kit was timely touch! Across the street from a lovely park with walking paths, a tram ride from Porto proper if you make it on time :)

(FYI pool towels are downstairs at reception & cost a euro — which would be great to know before the kids are in the pool!) Be aware of Very firm beds- some will love it

Well presented and clean. Really helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Could have been a 4 star hotel. Rooms well appointed. Location good with a 5 min walk to the beach, and just 20min bus ride to downtown Porto. A few great little restaurants within easy walking distance too.

Pity the hotel pool is unheated (visited in March when weather cold and wet). Could do with some coat hooks by the bedroom door for hanging up wet coats. Mattress great, but pillows uncomfortable, but that is just personal preference.

The cleanliness was exceptional, the breakfast outstanding with so much fresh fruit! Staff very friendly and nice. The rooftop terrace with beautiful views and the swimming pool were a great place to relax and have some refreshment.

The double bed could have been wider, King or Queen size. The snacks on the rooftop terrace were much to be desired and lacking in creativity. The toasties were dry and the cheese rubbery! You have to put butter on the outside of the toasties before cooking them in the toaster. Then they would be edible! The room was a little too small for our 14 day stay especially with no balcony. Found other tourists on the whole rather sour and unfriendly but not much you can do about that!

I like all the things there. Location is close to the seaside, there's amazing sunset everyday, and is far from the main city, it a perfect place for holidays. Room has a good view and enough sunshine, every morning I woke up with the sunshine. Breakfast is more than expected, considring with the price of room, they supply fresh fruits /coffe and all kinds of local food.

The only thing could be improved is the lift, it feels a little bit scary sometimes, but it works well throughout the days I stay.
