This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. It had such an air of calm, everything tasteful and great quality. I loved it. Having tea coffee and cake available outside the rooms was also awesome.

As others have mentioned, it is a very discreet entrance and someone from the hotel noticed me waiting (the buzzer wasn't answered) and checked me in, but it only took a couple of minutes.

Modern and clean. I needed my accommodation to be close to the hotel Santana which it was. There’s a bar in the square that is lively and good fun

Quite small. Villa de Conde is very run down. The younger locals were not fond on the teenage lads accompanying our tour and chased them out of town one evening. Otherwise this property is perfect for a cheap stay.

There was no breakfast but there was coffee, tea and cookies available all day, which I thought was pretty nice. The room was well renovated and very cozy. I loved it.

It doesn't have permanent front desk assistance, it's not exactly an hotel. Parking is available on the street and on an underground municipality park nearby (both paid).

The location. I know Vila do Conde and the location is perfect. Near from the main bars and restaurants, it´s the perfect spot. It ´s a perfect stay if you are doing "El camino de Santiago". If you are driving a car, be aware it´s really difficult to get a place around the place for free, but there´s a parking area just on the side and not expensive - just 0.10€ per 15 min -and it´s open from 07.00 am until 01.00 am. The room is nice and cosy with a great view from the room to the river. The shower is great and the bed is confortable. The staff was really nice.

01. You can hear everything from the other rooms and from the corridor. 02. There´s no bidet as it says on the description. I don´t need the bidet but the discription is not correct. 03. There´s no shampoo on the toiletries, only soap. I asked for it thinking it was a mistake, but it´s not. 04. There´s no reception. The restaurant is the "reception". 05. There´s no breakfast. 05. There´s no phone on the room, In case you need to contact the "Hotel Reception" you will need to use your own phone.

Great room. Great location by the river. Close to good restaurants. A great place to relax and unwind. Try Casa do Vila round the corner - amazing food.

Breakfast is DIY with a kettle, coffee machine and pre-packed bread rolls. There are lots of places in town to get good coffee and proper breakfast.

After walking 9hours (with blisters on my blisters) this place was absolute heaven It’s right on the Camino and next to nice bars and restaurants The lady who checked me in was so lovely The blackout curtains were a godsend Possibly the best bed I’ve ever slept in For the price I paid it was an absolute steal

We really enjoyed the silence in the building. It was very quiet and we couldn’t hear anything outside of the room, which was amazing. The bed was very comfortable, the view of our room was beautiful and the staff were very helpful.

Comfortable, modern room in a great location in the old town of Vila do Conde. Gorgeous view overlooking the river and a tree-lined square.

The square was lively in the evening, which didn't bother us at all - we love to people watch - but a light sleeper might ask for an interior room. The description called this hotel a "bed and breakfast" but there was no breakfast. Not a problem, as there's an inexpensive cafe around the corner.

Charging for aqua a bit mean. But the room is fantastic. # 1€ is equivalent to 2$ NewZealand Dollar.... So everything is expensive for us New Zealanders

It was a rest day for the staff and the hotel appeared to be closed. It would have been great if there had been a simple instruction beside the buzzer on how to contact the owners and gain access.
