We had an amazing time. The bed is very big and comfy, the shower is great and the room very spacious. Breakfast is very good, even lactose free options. We had 2 dinners at the hotel restaurant, in a huge group, and we had a great time. Last, but not least, the support I got for my wedding was fantastic. They provided me a huge conference from for me, my family and friends to get ready, walked with the staff I hired until the place and brought me everything I needed very fast, kindly and efficiently! Thank you very much!!

The hotel should be pet friendly, since nowadays it is very common that people travel with dogs. I find absolutely unnecessary to use cap in the pool, and the hotel makes it mandatory (and charges 10 Euro for it, in case you don´t own one).

Everything , had an amazing view and the hotel on it own was just beautiful and very well kept. Most definitely what I was expecting and more , looked exactly like the pictures presented which was great . The food from the restaurant was exceptional , my partner had the duck and truth be told it was the best duck he has ever eaten and I agree as I also had a taste . The staff are also extremely friendly and helpful with any query you may have and there is always some one present at the reception desk so you are not left waiting to be assisted.

Nothing to dislike at all , I’d say perhaps the hour the swimming pool closes is a bit of down side just because I love a late night swim but it’s okay as I still got to enjoy the pool during the day . Other than that there was absolutely nothing to dislike whatsoever.

Loved this hotel; would happily have stayed more than one night. Clean, spacious room with a good-sized modern bathroom, and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in for a long time. The hotel was a very quiet and relaxing place to be. The rooftop bar has great views over Vila do Conde, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a very good selection of food for breakfast. The hotel is very conveniently located for anyone doing the camino.

The pool is absolutely gorgeous, particularly the starry ceiling. It's quite and the room was ver very nice. The view particularly from the restaurant was absolutely gorgeous.

The wifi didn't have the best connection. The eggs from the breakfast were dry and clumpy. The member of the staff that greeted us talked very fast kind of seemed like he was rushing us off however the other members were all so polite and nice.

I was made to feel welcome, as I was going to a appointment at the hospital, the lady at reception explained to me , where it was located, I found the staff to be pleasant and curtious at all times. The room was very clean, I enjoyed the bath, I slept very well, the bed was very comfy. The hotel was in a great location, I had a balcony overlooking the river.

It is a little dated, but it was very clean.

Hotel is very beautiful but it needs some renovation (floors, carpets, doors, outside, etc.)

Location was excellent, the views are beautiful looking over the river. The spa was very nice. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff made the experience they were very friendly.

Everything was excellent no complaints.

The Bed, and Breakfast

the pool Because wasn’t possible to order and drink the coffee on the pool, and for 4 star hotel this should be changed, the guests will enjoyed, and the hote will make better profit.

The hotel staff were wonderful, and so were the facilities. The pool was our favourite spot, but make sure to try out the jacuzzi and sauna too! Sadly we were only there for a weekend and didn't get the chance to try to restaurant, but the breakfast buffet was superb. The room was nice and beds were comfortable; we got a nice view from the window to the nearby river. Extra points for a bathroom with an actual bathtub instead of just a shower! We can't wait to visit Santana Spa & Hotel again.

The hotel was very clean and staff were amazing. My family and i had a brilliant time and would love to visit again.

Access to meal after 6pm was an issue for the first 2 day.
