The location was great, the breakfast team was friendly and the breakfast was good. The room was clean and pleasant

The air condition was noisy but we couldn't avoid using it due to the noise from the street (although the room was located on a high floor). The big disappointed was the nonfunctioning swimming pool , which was very important for us and one of the reasons of choosing this specific hotel It seems that you Booking have also part of our bad feeling since you haven't notified us prior to our arrival . The hotel took some responsibility, but still it caused us unnecessary frustration

We chose this hotel following a disappointing booking at another hotel nearby and chose it for its reliability, it didn't disappoint. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast copious if of variable quality. The staff were generally helpful although check in took longer than we might have liked.

The parking can't be accessed directly from the hotel and the air-conditioning is exceptionally noisy. The price was quite high (admittedly a last minute booking) in comparison with the level of finishing of the hotel but all in all it was a good stay.

there is no bell boy service available and other room/house keeping services are limited in working hours. Therefore there is a lack in servicing the public and even if the staff is mostly nice, the overall service is not that offered by a five star hotel (under par)

The hotel and overall experience was great. We managed to relax and have a great weekend. Room service was great as well as the staff's promptness and willingness to help. The food they serve is very good and they also have vegeterian/vegan options, but not too diverse.

While we did enjoy the pool and the view from the pool, I would suggest more focus to be paid to the cleanliness of the pool as there was built up grime all around the pool's walls at water level. Being a 5 star hotel, I would assume they have the money to invest in an app to make ordering breakfast less wasteful. They have the usual paper menu that you get to fill out and leave outside your door but doing this every morning can quite wasteful of you don't want to go down to the restaurant to eat.

Where to start.. The stay in the hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive - this applied to all staff members from the front desk and the housekeeping to spa. The swimming pool was even better than I expected. Too often the hotel swimming pools are small with rather cold water. Here the pool was good size and the water was warm. Sauna was also very nice, a real Finnish sauna. Breakfast was really good - lot of different options. The room was beautiful also. My window was towards the street. Even the street was one way and very calm, some noise could be heart in the room also. But well, what else one can expect for a hotel with such central location.

I could go to town on how clean and vibrant the hotel is, the beds were So So comfortable but, the absolute stars of the Hotel are the staff who were just so happy to help in any way possible. The night before I left, coming very late, the two ladies on reception could not have been more friendly and genuinely pleased to see me.. amazing staff felt like staying with friend from the first time I put a step in to the time I left. Oh and will now make this hotel my destination when I return with friends later this year…you bet. thank you all the staff at the Double Tree 👋x

the hotel is very nice and it is located between Parcul Central and Piata Uniri . i did not used the hotel directly but I put my parents there that was coming to find out us in Cluj . i can say anyway that the hotel is good with wonderful position … covid restriction make the minus .. but this is not depend from the hotel . A plus is the covered heated swimmingpool at the last floor that my children enjoy and due the restriction only 6 people each time can access .

as always in foreigners country there is no the Bidet in the bathroom :-((( and for a 5 star hotel is not so good this fault … anyway in many foreigners countries is like so

Location is really good, facilities also very good. I was surprised that breakfast was not included, but obviously that was my mistake. One of the things that was really positive is that the we had a party on Saturday night, but we didn't hear anything in the room.

For a family room, you'll pay 50% of the room rate for the breakfast, additional and you don't see the added value.

Everything was really wonderful: Room, location, breakfast, pool, gym, staff...

Considering the price & quality of the experience, it feels cheap that you have to pay 80 lei / €16 per day for parking. We stayed at other hotels in Cluj and they offered free parking to guests.
