Spacious rooms; incredibly friendly and helpful staff (reception, cleaning, hotel restaurant/bar); good reliable Wi-Fi available for free; convenient location, good price per value overall.

Design & furniture feel a bit dated; amenities could use some minor upgrades (especially the shampoo/shower gel was sub-par; adding disposable slippers, oral hygiene kits would be a nice touch); minibar discontinued (mini-fridge available, but not stocked). Breakfast not bad (decent variety, qualitative food) but could be easily improved (by the time I had breakfast, yolks from poached eggs were fully coagulated - maybe poach fewer eggs and restock more often?). PS: not bickering but rather providing some constructive feedback, by pointing out small tweaks to improve customer experience.

Good location to easily access downtown, clean, large and heated rooms. Parking plot available, which is a plus in this crowded area. Staff helped a lot with arriving indication (due to traffic restriction in area). Breakfast - with enough vegetables available - was fairly good for the money. It's not easy to maintain, clean, heat, refurbish such a hotel, so hotel team effort should be, at least, considerable.

The shower sewage in my room requires maintenance. Food served at breakfast is pretty basic. Parking spot quite difficult to access, but it's not hotel's fault.

Hotel Victoria is a standard hotel perfectly located in the old town. The hotel is nothing special but a standard hotel. But it was the cleanest hotel I've stayed in for a long time and the rooms were standard size. But it is the first time a hotel room has been undamaged. Not an injury. The rooms had their own air conditioning, which meant that you could ah good temperature despite 30+ on the outside. What I was most impressed with was the service of the staff. Both before my trip and during my stay. They told me how to take the bus to the hotel. Which bus, where did you get on and how did you pay. Fantastic information. Then during my stay I got good information. Met 4 people at reception who all spoke perfect English. Could not be more satisfied as a guest. Will return.

Missing bacon for breakfast and no safe in the room.

The location of Hotel Victoria is very central and provides easy walking access to the city. Having off-street secure parking in Cluj is rare and appreciated. The rooms (I booked 2 for myself and my family), were spotless and well appointed. The staff were very obliging and friendly and helped us with all of our queries. I had to work during my stay - the room was very quiet with fast internet. It is an old property but it has been maintained well.

This is a very minor dislike and it is because I am tall. The bed was a little small for me, however it was a very comfortable mattress with good quality pillows. I was still able to rest well.

Traditional Romanian breakfast was great! Also the staff was very nice, the heating didn’t want to start so they came and explain how it works, very kind! Also the location was great! Near all kinds of nice things to see when you’re in Cluj-Napoca

The location is perfect, the staff is very friendly and the facilities are nice, everything is clean.

The was no teapot which is a minus for me. The facilities are nice, but a bit too old. There was a strong cigarette smell when we entered the room.

Lovely place and the gentleman at the front desk/reception went over and beyond to explain us a couple of things especially the parking situation, advised us what bus to take around the city centre etc. This is what a true receptionist/host supposed to be, best customer service I've had so far ! One of my best stays. I wish I could meet the receptionist that checked me in, on my cheking out day so I could thank him and tell him what an amazing job he did !

Parking is a bit confusing, firat you need to fo to reception and then explain you what you need to do, the issue is almost impossible to find a parking spot nearby so you can go to the reception and ask, but this is how the Hotel's surrounding is built it's not the Hotel's fault. Overall amazing experience.

The location was fantastic and the staff was super friendly. It is an amazing value for the location. We especially enjoyed the retro design and interior. The hotel isn't a five star luxury resort by any means, but it is a quirky view into the past. The staff had answers to all of our questions and were more than accommodating. I will absolutely stay here again when we return to Cluj-Napoca.

There really wasn't anything we disliked about our stay.

The location was in the center of the city.

When we arrived 30 minutes before 10 am for breakfast, most of the food was gone from the tables.The kitchen did stop providing refills for the food. I have to ask for eggs and other food...I was very disappointed.

Nice, classic (retro) environment. Huge rooms. We could check in earlier and leave one of our backpack aftet checking out at the reception.

The sounds of the traffic of the street could be heard on the second floor that means the windows are not soundproof. There was not hot water in the shower (but we had a second bathrooms so we could use the bathtub).
