This hotel is located in a quiet side street an easy walk away from Ovidiu square where there are many cafes and restaurants. It’s close to the Art Museum. It’s also an easy walk to the fish restaurants down on the harbour side. Our room was spacious with good storage, a comfortable bed and seating. Breakfast offered various freshly-cooked hot options as well as fruit/pastries etc but the sliced white bread (Mother’s Pride, for the British reader, is dire.) Coffee freshly made to order, always better than a push- button machine.

As older travellers, we regret the lack of grab handles to make climbing over the side of the bath safer. There are apparently no walk-in showers available.

The hotel is up to standard and offers a complete package of facilities for those who need a comfortable place to stay in the city center, close to the old town. The rooms are large, bright enough and most of them have a suite layout, with a separate dining area. This is given by the fact that it was set up in a historical building that was refunctioned, not built as a hotel, and as such has the advantage of offering more privacy and silence than most. Due to it's position, room size, well trained staff and it's tasteful if a bit sober design, gives off more of a "professional" vibe as opposed to a holiday one, which many may find desirable. That being said, being in the immediate vicinity of the beach and close to the marina , those searching for a comfortable and quiet weekend getaway will find it ideal.

There are few options for parking in the area, so finding a spot might be a problem, especially on the weekend. However, everything worth seeing in Constanta is well within walking distance, so it shouldn't pose a problem if you park a bit further.

The front desk staff and servers were affable, accommodating, and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. The room was very clean and quiet, and had a mini bar with a variety of options. The breakfast was personalized and delicious. The location couldn't be better if you want to be close to the beach, Modern and Neversea are located at the end of the street (also down a number of stairs, but totally worth it). I don't have anything negative to say about this hotel, we will be staying here when we come back to Constanța.

No parking space The breakfast, I asked if they have a vegan option and they confirmed it and brought me a dish that had butter and bacon (you could see the pieces). I complained about it and they brought me back the same plate saying it doesn't contain bacon although I could still see it....very disappointing The price of the room doesn't justify the quality of it Elevator

Fabulous suite with lots of room - fresh flowers, beach towels and tourist books/guides showed their attention to detail. We parked right ouside the hotel for free. Just a few hundred yards from the beach and a short walk to the port and old town centre. The hotel now have their own onsite restaurant, which we really rated highly ; excellent food and decor with really attentive and friendly service.

The in-room wifi was a little patchy at times.

We had a fantastic suite which was just huge and very clean, comfy and well presented and a very nice bathroom. It looked out to the side and was quiet and you could see the sea not far away (although very close it's a steep walk down to the beach). It's in a modern part of the city and is a bit of a walk to the old town, but the old town doesn't really have much to offer anyhow (it's very run down and most of the historic buildings are in a very poor condition). Some nice restaurants nearby. The hotel dining room is shut for refurb and so breakfast in the very nice restaurant opposite (10 euros each max but that goes quite far in Romania!).

Somehow the hotel lacked a charm or any character. It was nicely decorated but still seemed a bit soulless. It was also expensive for Romania (we had stayed in much cheaper hotels that week around Bucharest and Transylvania some of which were superb, and this was easily the dearest yet also the dullest).

Great breakfast , the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very quiet , comfortable and very clean . Location is great , close to the city center , very close to the beach if you wanted to take a walk after dinner , for me everything was in a walking distance , so I was great . I will definitely go back.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent room with all amenities, good quality toiletries (including local cosmetic brand - Tekir). Location couldn't be better - literally meters away from the stairs descending towards Neversea beach (very nice privare beach, btw) and Modern beach (public beach, very clean and comfy). Breakfast was served in the next door restaurant Irish Pub - one of the best places in Constanta to eat, enjoy cocktails & drinks, with great seaview. Breakfast was plentiful. Contrary to other reviews, we waited like 5 minutes max before our order was brought to us, staff very friendly.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The service at the hotel is excellent. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and unforgettable. Location is perfect. Historical architectural building of the hotel creates a particularly pleasant mood with its retro design. The room was very cosy and clean. We especially want to express our deep gratitude to the reception staff for their warm care and support.

Central location.The interior decoration gave me a glimpse back on golden time of Romanian aristocracy. Rooms are well decorated . Beds are comfy. Front desk staff is smiling all the time. Hotel Management is having a excellent human approach to customers.

Room carpets are nice but an extra cleaning by proffesional company will be a plus.Bathroom are cozy and a extra clean and spark will help a lot.
