Fantastic hotel, was pleasantly surprised with the rooms, everything is digital and can be controlled from the room panels or a tablet they have in each room, unlike many hotels, the AC actually matches the settings you apply. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is also pet friendly and the staff has a great attitude towards pets, they were always checking on my dog and brought her a bowl of water whenever we were at the bar/restaurant.

Not too much to dislike to be honest, breakfast was good but could have a few more options to be great and although the restaurant food was great, it was bit pricey, paid 800 Lei for a Lunch for 5.

The property is absolutely amazing, interior is modern and the restaurant/bar is really nice, cocktails are very good, barman’s and waiters are very friendly and generally all staff at the hotel. The beds are cozy, modern/smart room controlled with an samsung tablet where you can watch movies. We really enjoyed our second stay at your hotel, and for sure will be back soon !

I think it would be great if you would provide hairdryer’s in rooms, I don’t know if it was a mistake that it was missing, but it would be great to have one :)

The hotel is modernly decorated and somewhat futuristic for Romania, all digital dials and in-room tablets. The rooms are quite big and the furnishings and amenities are good. Check-in was speedy and you can park your car in a private parking without having to book ahead.

The room suffers from its own technology overload. There s too many bright dials which make it hard to sleep at night and the under bed sensors which are meant to light up when your feet touch the floor, turn on when you turn in bed so basically every 5 mins. The ventilation is a bit on the loud side and the rooms don t have windows that one can open.

As a frequent traveler to Timisoara, I've had the opportunity to stay at many of the city's hotels. However, there's one hotel that I always return to - the Mercure. From the moment you enter the lobby, it's clear that the Mercure is a cut above the rest. The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed is particularly noteworthy - it's so comfortable that you'll never want to leave it! And let's not forget about breakfast - the day's most important meal! The Mercure's breakfast buffet is simply outstanding. There's something for everyone, from freshly baked pastries and bread to a selection of hot dishes, fruits, and yogurts. Plus, the coffee is excellent - a must for caffeine lovers like me! But what makes the Mercure stand out is the staff. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with a warm welcome and a genuine desire to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The front desk staff is always willing to help with anything you need, from recommendations for local restaurants to arranging transportation. And the housekeeping staff is equally attentive, ensuring that your room is always spotless and well-stocked with all the essentials. All in all, the Mercure is hands down my favorite hotel in Timisoara. It's the perfect combination of style, comfort, and hospitality, and I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else when I'm in town. Highly recommended!

The hotel is amazing. Thanks to it, we had a great impression of the city. the location is not exactly in the city centre, however, it is a brief 20 minutes walk to the centre. the room and the hotel were exceptionally clean. The design and the concept are amazing, and aesthetically pleasing. Also, a great advantage is that the hotel is pet friendly, and we were able to bring our dog with us. The rooms are sound proof, so there were no extra noises (even considering that there is some railway reconstruction right next to the hotel). Breakfast was amazing and tasty, definitely worth its price. The food in the restaurant was exceptionally tasty, definitely would recommend it as well.

Honestly, there were no disadvantages.

This was our 2nd stay @Mercure Timisoara and just as accommodating as the first. The staff is well trained, professional and personal, very friendly and accommodating, especially restaurant staff. The selection of Italian wines is very good and the restaurant menu doesn’t disappoint on any of their dishes. Rooms are spacious and clean with very good bathroom fittings. We really appreciate their pet friendly policy as well

did not experience this problem on our first stay but now, maybe due to positioning of the room, the Mercure sign kept blinking all night in different colors. It’s a minor inconvenience for one night stay that can be solved by closing the blinds completely but for a longer one might be a bit more bothersome. Last time we were here we asked if they had decaf capsule for our room and they didn’t, same response now. If you’re not an early riser like me, this isn’t an issue as the bar staff will be happy to make you an espresso downstairs.

Breakfast, Liana's support on the morning at breakfast, ease of check in, parking, ease of tech in the rooms, even though they said on the website at booking they couldn't accommodate extra beds and cots they went to the effort to meet our request. Happy parents were glad to not have to share a bed with children.

Other customers (especially how they parked), it was a shame that the trades people building it didn't take pride in their work and pay attention to details like painting and tiling otherwise the design was great.

Good breakfast, cozy room, comfortable bed and the shower very nice. Also they have a terrace shared between two rooms.

We got problems using travel tickets resulting in waste of time and incertitude. Finally resolved but as exception. No parking places available. They have only like 12 places for a rather big hotel. The street was in repairs so it was like a construction site, dust and all. The lighting level too low, my wife had difficulties in make-up process.

Opulent design of the lobby and rooms. That very welcoming smell of perhaps signature's perfume even in the rooms. Spacious rooms. High tech smart room equipment, 2 TVs, even tablet free of charge to use during our stay. Green tiles in bathroom and whole bathroom itself. Industrial concrete ceiling. I love it. Once we saw our room we decided to have breakfast as well. And yes, it was worth. Plenty options to choose from. Tasty. Professional and friendly staff. Design, design, design. Everywhere. Clean. Incredible hotel. See us some time again.

A very clean and modern hotel for Timisoara, with fairly spacious smart rooms, an excellent restaurant and pet friendly policy. The water installation was particularly well fitted and robust. The restaurant staff (dinner experience) are very attentive and friendly and the food is very well cooked and tasty.

Smart rooms - no option to disable fan. Rooms - no decaf available, asked at reception. Paid deluxe suite, no breakfast included. Location is also quite terrible as it overlooks some desolate railway and is surrounded by construction development in the area. Additionally the restaurant and lobby space are quite small and they do allow for non-guests to come and dine as well as have breakfast/coffee in the morning. The outside parking space is very tight and some guest don't park according to designated space which make maneuvering the car quite difficult especially if you have big luggage or a big SUV.
