Amazing view and perfect location to visit Soufriere. Bedding super comfortable and huge Aircon not too loud Room size Very clean Parrot in the mango tree at the hotel Surely one of the best value in the area And again such a magical view

It would be perfect to have at least a basic breakfast option. Lightening can be improved easily: bulbs by the bed and on the terrace are very white and give a cold light. Sometimes, the shower is lacking a bit of hot water - although it's still warm enough

The pictures do not do it justice! It truly was an incredible view! and worth the track up the mountain to see it. The room had everything we needed, if you like the sounds of nature then you are in the right place. Some advice: As they clearly state, there is not a restaurant there, we were well aware of this, however.. They do have a small cabin on-site with some basics you may need including alcohol There is a large supermarket called MESSY, on the outskirts of town (highly recommend it) (10 min drive) There is a smaller Messy in town, but with limited options. You can get breakfast and lunch at the Beacon which is a ten min walk Dinner at Lush, which is also a ten-minute walk We highly recommend booking the Treetops restaurant (5 min drive away) we were gutted we couldn't get a booking due to popular demand. If you are a light sleeper, earplugs are good, but you book, knowing you a going to be in the tropics, and the sounds of the treefrogs can be quite delightful We do recommend booking a car, the road up there is not that bad! but it is a mini-adventure. Look out for the green sign stating Colombette road, and the ST Lucia flag colours on a tree, if you are coming from town, that is where you take a right, then the first left There are a lot of cats, but we loved them! and We hope visitors continue to feed them as most guests were doing so. They are not bothersome, just street cats, who liked the attention Highly recommend going to the Jade Mountain resort beach - it's a scary road trip across broken roads, but the beach is absolutely worth it!! (we recommend walking past the sports beach to the one further down. They have a small 'restaurant' with the best burgers we EVER ATE, it's a tropical paradise beach! The staff are really friendly and super helpful. On our last day we were able to hang out by the pool until we needed to leave for our flight, and they arranged a taxi (102 EC dollars return) to the Jade Beach resort.

Not a complaint, more advice Everyone mentions having breakfast opportunities there. The point is they CAN'T, but they CLEARLY state this. So come with this expectation and know you have many options around you, a little research goes a long way. The kitchen is fully equipped and you can cook for yourself. You pay for the location and the view. Don't follow your GPS, it will lead you down another road. As stated above, look for the green sign and the flag on the tree, and that's your turn! They are not allowed to sign post-Samfri gardens at the turning, but they did put the road sign up, and that's a good indicator (if you come from the town, after the viewpoint, on your right is a grey house, with a big CAT digger, the turning is just after it on the left)

Beautiful room with a spectacular view of the Pitons and surrounding rain forest. Comfortable and clean, and a good location to make the most of the views and explore the local sights. A lovely, small and peaceful hotel.

No facilities to buy food or drink. However we knew that beforehand and were fine with it - we had a well equipped kitchenette and enjoyed breakfast on our balcony. A small number of restaurants within a few minutes drive for an evening meal.

Gorgeous resort, the views are just incredible, it's a lovely peaceful retreat. The lady at check-in was so lovely and helpful. Definitely bring food with you as there are no shops, bars or restaurants nearby. The hotel has a small shop but no bar or restaurant. There is loads of kitchen facilities in the room. There is a nice restaurant in La haut resort about a 10 min walk from the hotel, but the road is quite dangerous. But worth the walk down during the day. Loved this resort overall, it was a beautiful and peaceful getaway. If you would prefer to get out of the resort during the day it would be best to have a car rented before your arrival.

No bar and the cats in the resort

That view!!! You wake up, open the door and see the pitons!

We had our own car, I think really recommendable, so you can go and buy your food and go to restaurants, as there is a small kitchen, but there is not much to buy at the shop (only cans), no fresh fruits and vegetables. And there are so many great restaurants and things to do around. Especially all the things to do are easy to do without an organized tour. There is like a common area (almost like a restaurant), but it would be great to have that a bit upgraded with comfortable couches or hammocks so one can spend some time there reading or working. Internet also did not work very well, as both my friend and myself are virtual workers, so we did need internet, but it really was a bit challenging. And if you go to the common area/balcony, there was almost no internet.

The view is absolutely stunning - one of the best in Soufriere in my opinion. We loved the pool area and being surrounded by nature (without mosquitos!). The room was clean and comfortable, with a great balcony - perfect for coffee in the morning and working out. We used the kitchen to make breakfast and dinners - it's well equipped (kettle, toaster, microwave, stove). We recommend the nearby Treetop restaurant (5 min walk from Samfi) for excellent Indian food. Good wifi, good AC

There is no bar or restaurant so we bought groceries on our first day, which was perfect for breakfast - but we wish there was some food to purchase on site for dinner. We didn't have a rental car either, so had to rely on taxis to drive us to/from the hotel every day. We thought we would be able to walk to town, but the windy road leading there has no sidewalks so it didn't feel safe.

Amazing views from the pool and our room (Could be the best view I have ever seen, could look at it all day). Quiet Location away from the busier Soufries Town. Staff around the hotel were very nice.

Nothing! The Road leading up to the hotel is 'Very Offroad' but if your fine with that and going 3-5 MPH in some instances then its great - only take a couple mins to get up. There is only 1 restaurant within walking distance up a hill that is $70 per dinner, otherwise you need a car, and be warned a few places nearby close at 4pm. If the Hotel were to make some simple scrambled eggs and toast in the morning for a slight upcharge, it would be a gamechanger.

Amazing, cozy little property. We loved our cottage. And then the balcony suite above the jungle as well. The views are beyond stunning. I did not want to leave. So nice to return to each evening after exploring the surrounding area. And starting each day with incredible views, up on the hill. Very pretty grounds, with the mango trees and bouganvillea, and butterflies flitting about at certain times of day. Very much a comfy and beautiful resort, but on a slightly more bijou scale. We had a great parking space as well for the week.

The lane to get to the property from the main road is unpaved and pretty terrible. There was also a hill covered by old garbage immediately left of the terrace connected to the pool. And other plastic that we noticed in the trees just below, near the pool, like bottles that were just out of reach to pick up because of how steep the hill is. These need to not fall or be thrown there to begin with, if no one can or will pick them up. It's an overall problem all across the island, it seems, and it's very disheartening, because everything else is gorgeous. The nature is too pristine to be so overrun by discarded materials like this.

The property is a beautiful getaway in St Lucia. We were in St Lucia for 2 weeks and didn’t get better views than from the balcony at Samfi Gardens. It is stunning! The room was perfect, the staff were very helpful and accommodating , and waking up to the view was incredible every morning. The pool was clean and a great place to chill. Samfi is a beautiful escape in comparison to busy towns/resorts making it feel unique and special.

The only thing to note is that without a car you will likely need to get taxis to and from Soufriere. We walked down once but it is quite a way in the St Lucian sun! This wasn’t really a problem as the staff are always available to help you book. There is a lovely place for lunch within walking distance called the Beacon with amazing views, as well as a nice (though a little expensive!) restaurant within walking distance called the Treetop - otherwise you’ll need to drive/taxi for meals! Samfi did provide a small shop for snacks and drinks which was very helpful also :)

The view from the villa's balcony was amazing, bed was very comfy and we had the amenities we needed. The staff was very friendly. The pool was ok for the size and view. Clean too.

There was an issue with shower water pressure, and the shower itself was leaking heavily. The shower tap was weird and we either got scorching hot pressured water or slight pressure cold one. There was a window wooden blind on top of the headboard and there was no window and even if it was nice to hear the crickets and co., wasn't nice all the time due to other people and draft forming with the bathroom windows. Parking is available at the top. There was a 10% service charge on top of our room rate which we didn't know about.
