Green Fig was a very special place. The panoramic views from the swimming pool and restaurant/bar were exceptional. The swimming pool is pretty small but very deep and super refreshing after a hot day. Our room was tucked into the side of the hill, almost built inside of a cave. The outside area was open and overlooks the Piton. That’s what really made this room so special. My wife and I enjoyed sitting out there near sunset, listening to all the sounds beneath us in the town below while looking out over the ocean sipping a cocktail. This place was all about location. The staff was very nice and helpful and the food was good. But, nothing moves fast here, so don’t be in a hurry. We really enjoyed our stay.

Although we were never in a hurry, sometimes we were pretty hungry and thirsty, and would have to wait a little longer than we’d like to get our food and drinks. They definitely had a full house when we were there, but sometimes the wait was a bit much.

Great location in Soufriere. The views were incredible! Stayed there 3 nights and ate breakfast and supper. Food was very good. We enjoyed the Nightime entertainment and fun bar. We walked the short distance down the hill to the beach and enjoyed relaxing under the shade of palm trees. We snorkeled off the beach. Sandy bottom with sea grass but had a decent amount of fish. The following day we did an all day excursion arranged by Green Fig. It was great : Tet Paul trail, volcano mud baths and hot springs, Diamond waterfalls and botanical gardens, lunch in Soufriere and snorkeling at Anse Chastenet. Highly recommend! Gavin was our driver and was a lot of fun. He also picked us up at the airport. Everything went very smoothly. I celebrated my birthday while there and Green Fig surprised me with champagne and balloons! Can’t say enough good things about Michael and his staff.

We climbed a lot of stairs at the property! But, don’t let that stop you from staying at Green Fig. I’m 64 and it’s doable. Plus the staff deliver and pick up your bags on arrival and departure.

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION BUT NEED TO BE PREPARED TO WALK UP & DOWN A VERY STEEP DRIVE TO SOUFRIERE OR USE TAXIS WHICH ARE REASONABLY EXPENSIVE OR HRE A CAR TO GET AROUND & ACCESS THE SURROUNDING BEACHES OF SUGAR. BEECH, ANSE CHASTENET & ANSE MAMIN.WATR TAXIS ALSO AVAILABLE BUT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN TAXIS.

This resort is small and stunning! The staff are excellent, and we found the other people staying there to be very friendly. The views from the restaurant, pools, and rooms are lovely. You can walk into the town, and Green Fig can help you book excursions and outings. The restaurant has a good menu.

Make sure to book a room away from the bar if you want some quiet at night. We were also warned by other guests that the noise from a club in town booms into the rooms until past 2am on Friday nights. This was our experience as well.

Amazing location - unbelievable views!! The facility was very well appointed, with multiple pools, comfortable public spaces, and live music many nights. We appreciated the balcony in our room, our “neighborhood” pool, and the included breakfast (very tasty). The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We would have appreciated a few more hooks in the room to help wet things dry. Having AC in the room was wonderful, but it didn’t fully reach the loft bed, so we were glad for the extra fan too. Would also have liked some better lighting in the loft - we ended up bringing up a table lamp and that helped.

Loved our stay here!! Incredible staff (especially Onion), great location close to the local town Soufriere, great restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The views of the Piton and the sea are unbelieveable, and can be seen from the resturant, bar, pool and rooms. Really recommend this hotel and also the Treetop restaurant up the road for sn early dinner. We rented a car, and the parking was great, saw some comments on terrible pot holes, but it was generally fine.

In our room you could really hear the town's bustling bars (music) and dogs barking, but this isn't the hotel's fault at all. Would still love to come back!

The breathtaking view of the bay and the Pitons is quite remarkable, to be able to see that from our room every day and during breakfast, dinner etc was a joy. The staff were super nice, very helpful (esp Tasha on reception with her restaurant and things to do tips, plus Onion in the bar doing his thing!). The spa was very good and the restaurant food was simple but used quality ingredients and well presented. So overall a very enjoyable stay.

The stairs from the room to restaurant/reception are pretty steep and probably not ideal for people with mobility issues. I am 60+ and didn't particularly struggle but was definitely blowing at the top climbing up!

great location but hotel is a bit run down

There was a great vibe and atmosphere, especially from the pool and bar area with good music on all the time. It's not too pretentious or too formal, so you can really relax and just enjoy your time there. We also enjoyed chatting to the other guests about where they are from and what they've been doing. We are usually airbnb people, so being in a hotel with others was a nice change and the other guests were great. We particularly liked that it was more of a boutique hotel and not a big resort. This gave it a much more personable but also quieter feel, which we wanted for the last stop on our holiday. Michael and the whole team are a credit to the resort. The restaurant/bar staff in particular are so friendly and polite, willing to go the extra mile to make sure you're happy and have the best stay possible. Michael was happy to throw the odd free drink our way as well. We ended up eating at the resort every day (sometimes lunch, sometimes dinner, sometimes both) and the food is delicious. Our particular favourites were the Creole Chicken, Saltfish and green banana (national dish), Chicken Burger, Fish tacos and Alfredo pasta. The complimentary continental breakfast was plentiful and tasty, with masses of fresh fruit and homemade cakes. Without a doubt the best part is the resort setting itself. The hotel is built into the hillside and the view looking out over Soufriere and the Pitons is just incredible. You can sit there for ages, at a table, at the bar or in the pool just soaking up the views.

My main critique of the resort would be the drinks prices. We are from London and I wouldn't even pay some of these prices in bars there. We had just come from Rodney Bay, where we were paying almost half the price for drinks. Given an extra 20% is added on for tax and service charge, the price really starts to rack up. For example, a Daquiri ends up being almost $20 and a simple rum (cheapest local rum) and coke ends up being $10. When a lot of the cocktails are made from syrups, it's hard to justify the price. Even a small reduction here would lead to far more people purchasing drinks, I'm sure of that. A couple of other smaller things like broken sunbeds and dirty windows could easily be rectified also.

Very nice resort which lies on the north slope of the bay area of Soufrière. Everything was well organised and we ended up with a private tour around Sliver Springs as there were no other guests going on the same morning. Breakfast was nice and lunch/dinner (paid for separately) was quite good. The pools were nice too.

We had to walk quite a few steep stairs going down to our apartment as the resort is on slope, so if you are not able to do that ask for a room closer to the restaurant.
