The room was big. The bathroom was big. It was clean. The bed was fairly comfortable. The air conditioning worked good. Large refrigerator and microwave. Really liked the tile in bathroom and kitchen area.
No restaurant expect Fridays and Saturday. The $15 coupon for breakfast for each room is odd. Extremely expensive stuff and most people don’t want a cold breakfast sandwich which can be microwaved. It looks like the balcony for most of the rooms face the parking lot and apartment building with some water view. Motel is located at end of town. The walk to town area is 6-7 minutes. The room is kind of dark, dark carpet and walls. The furniture is older but in good condition. Slightly stale smell at first but clears up with air conditioning and bathroom fan.

Very clean, and well cared for visually. What we found that wasn't ok, wall sockets so worn they won't hold a plug from falling out of the socket. THAT'S A FIRE HAZARD. The TV had no guide to help selecting a channel with desired programs. The guide we were given from the front desk wasn't for our cable service. The bathtub had to be serviced during our stay because the drain was broken. If you're an older couple request a 1st floor room, the stairs are steep. Be good to let folks know that there isn't any elevator.

The room was nice and cozy and had all the things needed. The balcony was nice to sit and enjoy the views across the bay. Breakfast was above the average hotel breakfast and the sit down area was nice, clean and relaxing.
The coffee was bad. It was too thin and did not meet my expectations. It was definitely one of the worst hotel coffees I ever had. Also the towels were dirty and had black stain marks on there on our arrival. Hotel staff should check the towels before they place them in the rooms

The breakfast was very, very good! It was a very nice selection of food. The pool was great and refreshing after a fun day of being in the sun! The room was very comfortable, I loved that we had a balcony! The view was pretty! The property of the Anchor Inn was very nice! The Anchor Inn is very close to a lot of cool places. Both of the nights that we were there, we ate at Captain Zack's which was very close. We drove but it is walk-able! There are also a few ice cream shops that are close. They were some cool little shops around, mostly beach-y stuff! We went on a boat tour to see the wild ponies, it was great! (picture is of the nice dock attached to the Anchor Inn)
nothing much!

Friendly staff, great breakfast excellent location, right on a marina. The view from the room short distance to everything I needed to do from one end of the island to the other easy parking did I say the staff was great and friendly.
Not a single complaint, we were there early in the summer before Memorial Day. I think they had just opened for the year and there was some issues with the hot water, but they were all resolved quickly and easily. I guess if you are looking for something to complain about , you could grumble about that but this took care of it like professionals it was really a non-issue.

The stay at the Anchor Inn was very nice. The location was awesome! The staff was always helpful and kind! When we asked for more towels we had them when we came back from being at the beach. The hotel is in a great location, close to stores and only 15 minutes from the beach.
We were on the lower level so we could here the people above us. At some times they were loud, the walls are thin but it wasn’t too much of a big deal. This wasn’t a problem but just a heads up to anyone that the breakfast, pool, fitness room, and the check in and out was all apart of the hotel next door; the Marina Bay Hotel.

The area was very quiet and nice. It was right on the pier and we could sit on the balcony to watch the sun set after the pool and having dinner. We also enjoy waking on the pier with our baby boy and just take in the beauty of the surrounding. There was breakfast every morning and the pool was available to us from 9am-9pm. It was relaxing and a great place to unwind.
We had to drive everytime we wanted to grab something to eat.

1st floor easy access, breakfast was great, staff was super friendly. The room was comfortable enough, and we enjoyed the little balcony. It was a quiet area.
ANTS everywhere in the room, broken shelves in fridge, every rain had to wade in couple inches of water to get in or out of vehicle, tight parking, the cost versus quality, the room was comfortable, but the quality of craftsmanship in the painting, caulking was below standard, just looked dirty around the toilet base, and tub edge there was an odd piece of toilet paper folded up on the bathroom floorwhen we arrived. We were there after labor day stayed nights, spent $462.00 for 2 nights...high priced.

The room was clean and spacious. Beds were a bit odd with a hump running down the center so you had to choose one side or the other instead of sleeping in the middle but there were plenty of pillows and nice bedding. The air con. worked well. We had the family suite and the kitchen had a full sized fridge, The water view and docked boats were within view from the balcony. Easy, convenient parking right outside our room. Breakfast was in the nearby Marina Bay hotel. Good choices included hot food and new items each morning. The pool looked nice but there were always lots of kids in it so we didn't go in.
The price per night was rather high. I think we paid less for an amazing chateau in the Swiss Alps with a view of the Matterhorn!

The view from our room was perfect; simple yet spectacular. Loved watching the sunsets, and on our last night, a full moon over the water.
The front desk staff at the Marina Inn were okay. I called ahead for early check in, explaining that I was traveling alone with two young children. The woman who answered the phone nonchalantly agreed. When we arrived, we were checked in, though not with the warmest welcome.
