Don't let the price scare you away! This was a cute little place, yes it was dated but we knew that going into it. We really didn't expect too much for the price and our expectations were exceeded. When we arrive we were given a little goody bag with brochures for local businesses, and a bag of popcorn and mints. No breakfast isn't "included" but we were also given breakfast vouchers for the coffee shop next door good for a free coffee and pastry of choice for each of us. We would definitely stay here again.

Besides it being dated (which we knew before we booked) and I understand renovations are in the future, there really isn't anything we didn't like

We loved the location, price, and the pool. The room was just what we needed for a family of 4 that included 2 teenage boys. It was nicely tucked away and the pool was always clean and open. We stayed here last year and decided to come back this year because we all loved it here so much. We enjoy going to Chincoteague Beach so the location and price was great.

The only thing I'd say we disliked was the electric flickered a lot in our room, but everything stayed on and it didn't bother us much. We were understanding that they were under new management and were in the process of making changes/renovations.

Breakfast was a little coffee shop next door. limited menu to coffee & pastries, but excellent! The kids loved their chocolate milks daily and the hot coffee was excellent. The staff was very sweet and very family minded. The pool was clean and kids love that we usually had it to ourselves. The grills outside were great and easy to use. Absolutely great value for the price and better than I expected. Annie, the hotel cat was the sweetest and very friendly.

The air conditioner in the room couldn't keep up and the air was musty at times. The decor and rooms are obviously old and run down, but they are working on updating this season. Would have liked to have a better counter top and food storage area, but the area was still workable.

We love the location, the value...and they must have replaced the mattresses because WOW are the beds comfy!! We love Annie the Island Kitty, she is a welcome new addition.

We had to ask that the bedding on one bed be swapped out because it was smelly I get it though it's the start of the season that room may have been unused for awhile. The bedding was changed and there were no further issues.

Location of this hotel was very good. the building was located away from the road and it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was a convenient option, not something exceptional, but very reasonable. We enjoyed pool as well. I would stay in this hotel again,

everything was really old, I mean everything. It was ok for our stay, but I think some updates are needed.

Staff was very nice, room was clean and great location.

We were there during end of fall weather so there was no concern but gap around door...would not want during cold weather plus the air conditioner/heater needed a good cleaning and filter change. Yes I check all hotels....I have a lung issue and need to make sure I am able to use it if necessary or ask to have it cleaned.

Staff was friendly, breakfast vouchers were the best breakfast danishes ever. Pool clean! Off street parking, linens smelled very clean and soft

the office manager is very friendly. The location is great and the best price on the island. The cleaning staff were friendly and did their best. The pool area is very nice and outside looks good.

The rooms are outdated , need to be painted. The carpet is atrocious and desperately needs to be replaced.

Everything was great, I called earlier in the week to confirm my reservation and it was there. The manager was really nice, he let us check in an hour early and gave me a paper placemat map and showed me where the beaches were and where we may see the wild horses.

Other than only staying for one night, the smell from the septic tank being pumped out when we went to our room but I did check in an hour early lol

We liked the location, price and the staff. It was close to the beach, in town, and has a pool. The owner made sure everyone was safe and behaved within the motel rules. The maintenance staff were kind and helpful, whatever you needed they had it. Everyone connected with you and respected you.

The only thing I really noticed was the wifi connection isn't too great.
