There were a lot of activities to enjoy. We had a large group and all of our rooms were near each other, making it easy to hang out together. The repairman came quickly to repair the washer. He ended up replacing it and did so very quickly and efficiently. He also had a battery in his pocket that he used to replace the burned out one in the kitchen clock, and he replaced the stove burner that was out.

A few of the dining chairs were quite wobbly, making us nervous to sit in them. It seemed they would break if we moved suddenly. The kitchen was not well-stocked. One of our units (we personally booked two) did not have frying pans. Very limited serving dishes - no large bowls for salads or mixing. The units were a little dirty. The floors were pretty bad. We ended up cleaning the floor ourselves since we had an infant who likes to pick up everything from the floor. The bathroom was not clean in areas beyond immediate superficial notice- the lower parts of the cabinet, the outer part and the inside rim of the toilet, for example.

We arrived at the property and checked in, all went well. Got to our room to find we had no patio. Went back to reception where they were more than happy to change our room (which was actually a massive upgrade- I bedroom villa to a 2 bedroom villa) for no extra cost, even being over thanksgiving. We are traveling around Texas for the week (from Australia) and it was so lovely to have such a big space rather than a little hotel room. Full kitchen and even a washer & dryer. The room was absolutely spotless and lots of towels for our 2 night stay. Quiet, even being so busy. We loved our 2 nights at canyon lake, it was a great base to visit the hill country & San Marcos shopping. We didn’t want to leave. A very short drive to liquor store and grocery store that had everything we needed.

Breakfast was not offered; we took our own food but enjoyed some Blue Bell ice cream in activities center. We enjoyed the location, pool, mini golf and the Halloween decorations.

Waiting for help from staff. The very pushy invitation for your time share program and attitude of the staff at the presentation. You're pressured into going to the presentation, but get a bad attitude if you're not willing to plunk down many thousand dollars immediately to buy in. Huge decisions like that should be given some time to think about it. We received the late checkout, but only because one of us went to the presentation. It would be nice to have a later check out even if we have to pay a little.

The rooms were nicely kept and decorated. The kitchen was beautifully equipped. The TV sets and faux fireplace worked, bed, linens, towels, etc were clean, comfortable, and substantial.

I would have preferred a less aggressive sales approach to the promotions and amenities. I made the purpose of my visit -- relaxation -- clear. I would have liked to hear more about how to reach the office (I tried the phone but was put on hold for more than ten minutes, so I gave up) and information about trolleys, housekeeping, etc.

That they can’t tell neighbors around to keep the noise level down until 10pm . That’s wrong . Paying a little over 1,000 for a 3 nights 4 day stay and the upstairs neighbors kept running and jumping around , making a lot of noise . Then the front receptionist told us they couldn’t tell them to be quiet or anything until 10pm .. at 10 we called to tell them and the noice never stopped supposedly they where going to send security to tell them to lower the noice and I guess they never did because the noice never stopped , while out while stay there . Don’t like the fact that we have to go all the way to the front office to talk to them or ask 4 towels or paper , etc because the phones in the rooms don’t work

There was plenty of room for our family of 6. The pool was right outside our patio. Lots of amenities and things to do. Plenty of entertainment.

When checking in we were sent over to a lady who told us we got some bonus. Had us sign paperwork and then told us we had to go to a presentation for 1 1/2 hours. If we didn’t show up we would be charged $30. 🤬. We were never told that we didn’t have to sign up. We did not want to spend 1 1/2 of our vacation listening to some presentation. So I was charged $30. I’m very upset that I wasn’t told we didn’t have to sign up for this. The lady was very pushy. Not happy about this.

Pool area

Later hours in pool area. If its summer and you don't get checked in until 8pm then you carry your things to your room its 9pm before we got to enjoy the pool. We were in the area across the street in Presidential Condo's. The outside night/pool attended was rude when he informed us about the pool hours. Then he actually said he hated the summer time because of all the people. I thought to myself, this guy is in the wrong business. This is a resort and in the summer and holidays there will be more people.

The rooms were huge. It was clean and beds were comfortable. There was coffee and a coffee maker. Washer and dryer in the unit as well as all dishes/pots and pans. There is a restaurant on site to use. The key wrist bands are GREAT.

The rooms were sparse and cold feeling. VERY my minimalist. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were too flat and small. The 4 pm check in and the 10 am checkout are too late and too early for traveling just for the weekends. Nothing is complimentary such as breakfast.

It was a beautiful property with plenty of activities on site to do. Staff was friendly and professional.

The people in the room above us were making VERY loud “jumping” noises until @ 3:00 am. Security was called by several people besides us. The resort didn’t have any available rooms to move us to for the remainder of our stay. It remained a slight problem for the next night but really put a damper on my birthday trip. 😳 i needed the sleep after the drive to get to Canyon Lake.

I loved the property itself. There was a lot to do, especially as a family with kids, that did not cost any extra. So that was nice. Everything was clean and organized. Anything that did cost extra was not badly priced at all. We ate at the grille for breakfast, it was pretty good food, not great, but decent. We definitely will return.

I hated the check in process. It was long and tedious and frustrating because the staff was very pushy about trying to get us to attend a timeshare meeting or push the time share option on us. After a long drive and finally getting to the resort I just want to check in quickly and move on to go enjoy my vacation. I do not want to be asked a million questions about what we’re doing and who were hanging out with and can I interest you in this $90 gift card but wait all you have to do is attend this meeting. No. Leave me alone. Let me check in and get to relaxing. If I would have known this was a time share resort I probably would have picked elsewhere. It took me saying I wasn’t interested multiple times for the guy to finally give me my room keys.
