Location is great - just a block away from the freeway with easy access. Near the venue we were in town to attend. Plenty of fast food and restaurants in the area. Plenty of well-lit parking all around the hotel. The room was perfect and exactly as I requested; Upper floor away from the elevators'. I slept especially well, great mattress and the floor was especially quiet! The bathroom and amenities were excellent. We didn't have time to try out the indoor swimming pool but definitely will on our next visit. Breakfast was available from 6 - 10 AM. Everything was great. Personnel were friendly and smiling. I highly recommend this location. FIVE STARS!

I did not find one thing disagreeable with our stay. Everything was perfect and priced right. The bed was comfortable - made me wonder what brand of mattress it was. Remind me to call the hotel later.

For the most part the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The A/C worked well and they also had a fan in the room which was a bonus in late July. The location was perfect. Only about a mile and a half from Gruene and plenty of food, coffee, and other things in walking distance. I would stay again.

There was hair left in the tub and on the mounted shampoo bottles. Possibly just forgotten considering how clean the rest of the room was. The hallway was hot and smelled funny, but it's not like we hung out in the hall. The pillows were flat and small. I would suggest bringing your own.

Quiet and comfortable, Available handicap parking. Nice efficient staff. TV on blitz until wonderful employee Anthony came to replace. So kind and attentive. Ease to get to. Nice location for east about town activities.

Breakfast. Needed faster replenishment. I enjoy liquid creamer for coffee with no sugar. Half and half or whole milk. English muffins would have been nice and light. Otherwise super clean, Staff friendly when asked for refill need.

I loved the Texas shaped waffles for breakfast. The pool and hot tub were awesome as well. Beds were comfy!

Everything in the room was dusty, clearly had not been in clean. In addition staff was very aggressive over the timing of breakfast. I saw people getting breakfast and the staff taking food away while people were in the middle of loading their plates. Luckily I wasn’t one of them, but they could have been more friendly.

Awesome ... Clean.... Staff helpful. WILL STAY AGAIN FOOD HAD SCRAMBLED EGGS, DICED POTATOES, SAUSAGE, PANCAKES, JUICE Coffee etc.. Plain bagels, no danish but small muffins...NICE FOR FREE BREAKFAST Some billing issues when you extend stay.... INDOOR POOL WAS GREAT NOT HEATED WELL BUT HOT TUB MADE UP FOR IT. THEY DO NEED TO CODE ROOM KEYS FOR POOL. THEY HAD LOST KEY CARD TO POOL.. STAYED FOR WORK. JUST A BIT OF TRAFFIC ISSUE GETTING OUT OF PARKING LOT AT HIGH TRAFFIC TIMES. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN

Danish or doughnuts would be good... Pool key issue Extended stay and billing problem caused them to wake me a bit disrurbing

The hotel is spacious with alot of seating in the large lobby. My room was very nice with a comfortable bed and quality and cozy bedding . I was interested in visiting Gruene , the historic villiage to the west of New Braunfels. It was just a 30 minute walk for me from the Hotel !

There was nothing for me to complain about. Its its a very well appointed hotel in a great location away from the very busy part of New Braunfels

Everything !!! Check-in was easy breezy. Our room was clean, stocked and even smelled fresh. We had everything available that we needed. The lady at the front desk was sweet and let my daughter grab some coffee creamer and sugar for coffee at 8 p.m. breakfast was great there was something for everyone and the breakfast attendant kept everything stocked until breakfast was over, she was also very sweet. My absolute favorite thing was how quiet it was we will definitely stay here in the future.

Not a big deal but it was odd that our sheets were inside out. I got kind of worried that maybe instead of putting new ones on, they just flipped it the other way. Not sure tho. Bed is not comfortable at all lol Also the rooms look like they were straightened up and not actually cleaned and sanitized. But again not any big issues or deal breakers! other than that it was good!

We had a great stay at the Wingate by Wyndham in New Braunfels. The pool was great for the kids and it was nice to have a gym room. Also, the breakfast was great, we loved the Texas-shaped waffles. :-) The room had a good size and was well equipped with everything.

Three remarks on the cleanliness: the bedskirt on one of the queen beds had a couple of not nice looking stains in an area where it should be obvious for housekeeping. In between the beds the carpet had a huge stain from something liquid at some point, that is something that should be replaced in a room because it doesn’t make a nice impression. And unfortunately the restroom by the pool downstairs was really nasty and had not been cleaned. The pool and the whirlpool were great though!

Breakfast was very good and overall it was good. I was kind of worried since the reviews were not so positive but i guess the current management listened to all of them, because i found it a very pleasant stay. It is also across the highway of Buccees so that was great!!!

If i have to say something i did not “like” was that the pool water was kind of dirty and too hot, but we only used it once so it wasnt an issue for us. And the fact that we were at the 4th floor and the hallway was hot!…with this weather you are always trying to stay as cool as possible!…..our room was PERFECT so it wasnt an issue either.
