I like the hotel and the room. The breakfast was also very good. The main advantage of this hotel is that it is in the city center, a walking distance from everything.

This is a 5-star hotel, so I expect everything to be perfect. However, there were some signs of damage in the room - scratches in the wall paint, broken power plugs, difficulty opening windows, and a lot of limescale in the shower. The button in the shower that switches between the normal shower head and the rain shower was stuck, so I could barely switch to the normal shower head. The check-out time is until 12 pm, and the housekeeper just entered my room at 11 while I was still in the room. She knocked 1x, immediately unlocked the door, and entered the room without waiting and checking if I was still in the room. Small things that should not happen in a 5-star hotel.

Emblematic building and hotel with an impressive history. Great and central location close to Tasmajdan Park, city centre and Vracar. The rooms are generous in size, the breakfast buffet is great and offers a lot of choice, we loved the fresh fruit and the local pies. We also liked the different exhibitions of the photos and accessories of the past of the hotel in Yugoslavia.

The hygiene is not as one should expect in a hotel of this category. Most disgusting was the rotten toilet brush which was likely there for more than a decade. It took me four reminders at reception to have it replaced and the presence of this appalling item in the room really spoilt parts of my days. The furniture in the room is used, the mattress, chairs and soft chairs are soggy and uncomfortable. Small maintenance work on broken items would help to change the impression of neglect. It's really a pity to see this traditional hotel being run down so carelessly. Staff is friendly and polite but apparently lacks coordination, internal communication and training in efficient workflows.

Breakfast was great. One of the best ever. Staff was very nice. They were five star appropriate. Polite,Intelligent, well spoken, professional and accommodating.

Lack of two beds. Not just at this hotel but every hotel. Always looking for two queen beds but never find them. Seems hotels force families to get two rooms these days. They talk about eco friendly with saving washing of towels and bed linens but actually compared to old hotels they are really doubling carbon footprints. Two rooms use double the electricity (AC ,tv and lighting) and cleaning supplies. Why? Greed.

The location, pool and valet parking can make you forget any other problem you will encounter

I recently had the pleasure of staying at metropol palace and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm, friendly service that continued throughout my stay. The room was impressive, both in terms of cleanliness and amenities. It was spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly enjoyed the hotel The hotel’s location was perfect, offering easy access to local attractions and transport. This made my trip even more enjoyable as I spent less time commuting and more time exploring the local area. In terms of amenities,really shines. The gym, pool, spa were top-notch, and the restaurant served some of the best meals I’ve had during my travels. In conclusion, metropol palace offers outstanding value for money. The entire experience far exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking comfortable accommodation, excellent service, and a prime location. My stay was genuinely memorable, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.”

Pretty much everything. -Fantastic service from the staff. -Very nice gym (running machines, barbells, kable machine, free weights, and a lot of specific machines for those who do not like free weights, separate stretching room). -Nice spa by the gym with what must've been 25m swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi. -Great room (the junior suite was not the biggest for this room type but smartly furnished - plenty of room for a week long stay). -Very good breakfast open until 11am.

Location was perhaps not bang in the city centre, but only ~20-25 mins to walk anywhere, and plenty of taxis around, and also right next to a tram line so no issue. The breakfast orange juice was not great.

Wonderfully warm yet professional staff and service. We received a free room upgrade, free early check-in and drinks! Bed very comfy, bathroom nicer than can be seen in the photos with bath, separate large walk-in shower and very good selection of Clarins toiletries. Very clean. Central location but away from the bustling nightlife. Beautiful communal spaces and views and lovely (free) spa. See photo for view from the breakfast room / spa.

Only minor things. Some towels were a bit worn. Children are free to use the spa in all opening hours (early in the morning until late at night). I would prefer it to have some adults-only times of the day for some real tranquility.

Staff was great, checked me in earlier and upgraded my room--incredible spacious and sunny! Big bathroom. the complimentary coffee, water, access to the rooftop were great. There are nice facilties--gym, pool (even if too small for the number of toursists) and outdoor patio.

At breakfast there is a line for coffee. They need one more coffee machine--this is basic. When it got out of order, I could not wait. Also, the maintenance was slow. The safe got out of order and they could not send anyone in my absence even when I told them the safe was empty. The scale did not work either. Yet, overall happy with the hotel

We stayed 4 nights in the 9th floor room. Room was clean, spacious and the beds were excellent. There s a full length swimming pool in the hotel plus well equipped qym, which I very much enjoyed. Somebody were staying that that pool is crowded, but I did not face that problem. Breakfast was excellent, lots of healthy variations. Also, Vračar as an area is nice: lots of cafes and restaurants.

If you re looking for an elegant Scandinavian style, maybe this hotel is not for you. It is a bit worn out (I did not mind. Many legendary hotels in Beograd like Moskva are like that). BUT if you appreciate big rooms, excellent sports facilities, good breakfast, location near downtown, this is definately a place for you.
