The hotel is located in a perfect location, in the very center of the city, in the pedestrian zone. Everything a tourist needs is 5 minutes away on foot. The hotel does not have its own parking lot, but there are several parking lots and public garages within a few minutes' walk, so this is not a problem. The room was relatively small, but excellently designed, very clean and tidy. Yes, there is no window, but we knew that in advance and it was not a problem for us. There is a skylight through which daylight comes in, but anyway we spent most of our time outside. The restaurant is also excellent, the staff extremely friendly, unobtrusive, yet always present. The price is very acceptable for this level of dining. The staff at the reception and in the cafe were also very friendly and accommodating. All in all, a great recommendation for the hotel.

Everything was perfect for us! What some in the previous comments mentioned as a negative, we didn't mind since we were informed in advance and agreed to it before booking the rooms (the parking and the lack of windows in the room). Regarding the issue with the temperature in the room, which some have also mentioned as a problem, we did not have that problem, and we stayed in four different rooms.

Extremely good service. For a price... A typical example of how to develop business in a cultural habitat - the Old Town. The facades and the general view have been preserved, and the internal space has been used effectively. It is really pleasant after a sunny day to enter a well air-conditioned hall with a burning fireplace. The restaurant is classic and classy with Central European and Mediterranean cuisine. There is no space for a buffet at breakfast and therefore it is a type of gourmet a la carte which is coming a little too much in the morning. Clean and tidy. Friendly reception. Early rising, persistent, noisy and domineering housekeeping. Exceptional location. The nearest pick-up point is in 200 meters, which is very good in this only pedestrian area.

The Hotel Ljubljana is a fantastic place to stay when visiting the charming old town of Ljubljana. The hotel's location is perfect, as it is only a few steps away from all the best sights and attractions. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. One thing that really stood out during my stay was the hotel's food. The on-site restaurant served some of the best meals I've had in Slovenia. The menu was extensive, and everything I tried was absolutely delicious. The staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout my meal. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight, with many fresh and tasty options to choose from. Aside from the food, the hotel itself was also a pleasure to stay at. The decor was modern and stylish, and the staff was always helpful and friendly. From check-in to check-out, I felt like I was well taken care of. It is an excellent hotel with a fantastic location, near everything, located on the banks of the Ljubljanica River. It is located just 15 min by walking from the bus and train station. Everything was fantastic: the room and hotel facilities, the breakfast, the staff and everything. I want to thank the receptionist on duty on our arrival on August 22nd, who gave me a special upgrade to an upper-level room for a very good price. You must visit the Saint-Nicolas Cathedral, the Castle by cable car, Prešeren Square, Zvezda Park, the Three Bridges, The Dragon Bridges, the Shoemaker Bridge, the Central Market, the Ljubljanica Sluice Gate, the Congress Square, and wander and get lost in the narrow, beautiful, clean and marvelous streets of the old town. You must eat and drink a local draft beer in Gostina Sokol, where you must try to eat the best Farmer's Plate and Carniolan Sausage. Both are very traditional foods and very tasteful. The waiters are very polie and try to help you choose what to eat.

Location is right in the town centre and close to main attractions (open market, bridges, Castle, restaurants) and public transport. Hotel ground floor is the restaurant so was a bit misleading when first arrived, luckily another customer reassured me that the hotel reception is indeed inside. breakfast has good options although the hollandaise sauce of my eggs benedict split and it was still served to me; however everything else was lovely. Local cuisine and produce sold at the open market every Friday - really cool vibe and highly recommended. Ljubljana is such a clean and green city so this added to the appeal of the whole place plus everyone looked really gorgeous!

The staff both at reception and restaurant could be friendlier but not sure if this was a language issue more than anything. The lift is suuuuuper slow so took stairs the whole time.

This hotel is amazing. Fantastic location in the old town very close to all meeting points for day tours and all the things a tourist will want to see. Great restaurants nearby with a selection of everything. the staff are amazing and friendly and answered all my questions! Great room with window overlooking the pedestrian mall. My only request would be that when housekeeping cleaned my room (and it wasn’t everyday) they didn’t replace any of the toiletries eg shampoo, body wash, tissues etc. I had to call down every time and ask for them. They also kindly upgraded my room from a middle room, no window , to a window room. I also got a late check out by an hour which was much appreciated and a glass of sparkling white on my very late arrival. I want to say a special thanks to Isna who answered all my silly questions. And the very friendly Zeljana on checking out and directions . I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!

Replacing my toiletries when my room was cleaned instead of having to call reception and ask for them

Fantastic location for beautiful city, based in the old town next to the river. Room was airy, light, spotless and the beds were the most comfortable I have ever had in a hotel. Reception staff were friendly, helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. The Air con was a must if there in the summer as temp in the 30's. Modern, smallish hotel with a restaurant attached offering indoor and outdoor eating. The location is just brilliant for seeing the city which is pedestrian and bicycle friendly. Loads of fantastic places to eat along the river but do explore the roads further back too.

Nothing really, restaurant has more of a formal air about it inside with a fire etc, and we preferred eating further into the city where it was more casual and relaxed. Just be aware that the road to the hotel is pedestrianised and our taxi dropped us off on the main road but it is a very short journed to the hotel. If you had mobility problems I believe you can hire a little electric cart to take you and the luggage.

Hotel is very good. Staff is nice and helpful. Location is perfect. We liked our stay here as an addition to our trip to the mountains we went here for last 2 nights. Breakfast are good and worth the money but it felt like there is not enough of information from the staff that if you are buying Breakfast with your stay you can actually order multiple dishes from menu without being charged extra (buffet style). Maybe staff could provide that information when you are paying for it. Overall it was a good place to stay beds are verrry comfortable.

Hotel rooms are pretty small but I cannot say I didn't like the room, for two people with big suitcases (20kg) you could feel lack of space, but it is only personal since we came here after visit in the mountains for 9 days. I believe that if you are traveling for business or few days in the city it is not going to be an issue for you. Maybe I missed information about it or it is not stated anywhere that the rooms are relatively small for people with large luggage.

Fantastic location. Really nice hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Despite the parking not extremely convenient, we still definitely would come here again. Couldn't ask for a better staff and location!

You should be aware, parking is not at the hotel. They do have a total of 3 spots for guests if you call and can get one for 20 Euros. It would be street parking but close. Parking in the city garages are several blocks away and a bit expensive 30+Euros. There are free parking places further out and then you have to get transportation, but it was too confusing for us weary travelers

The hotel was a delightful experience with its modern amenities and sleek design. The addition of a smart TV was a fantastic touch, as it allowed us to access YouTube and connect our phones seamlessly. It made our downtime at the hotel even more enjoyable, especially after a day of exploring Ljubljana.

While the hotel overall was a comfortable place to stay in the heart of the city, we did notice that some rooms lacked windows and felt a bit cramped. Although this wasn't a major issue for us, it might be worth considering if natural light and spaciousness are important factors for your stay. Despite this, the hotel provided all the essentials we needed, offering a great place to rest and freshen up during our time in Ljubljana.
