Excellent service and fantastic breakfast. The room was neat, clean and mostly comfortable with everything we needed. Hosts were super-friendly and the whole place has a very inviting ambience.

The light shining into the room at night from the doors that could not be covered was somewhat distracting. Being close to a busy road also increased the noise levels at night.

I stayed here twice in one week, as stopover between Cape Town and Johannesburg. The second time I had one of the newer rooms in the main building which was more comfortable than the first night when I had an older room in a separate building. Both were fine and clean. Easy to reach location, very friendly staff. great breakfast

I decided not to use the pool because it was quite busy

It was excellent value for money and the cooked breakfast really good. The location was great for us but others might find the distance to places to eat not so good. Very clean and bed comfy , towels clean but a bit ragged

New towels, didn’t bother us but need to be clear dogs and cats in residence for those that have sllergies

Not the properties fault just something to consider if there is loadshedding. The property doesnt have a generator but does have lights to help you get around. Perhaps just bring a power bank if there is lots of loadshedding at the moment.

There were three hot breakfast options in addition to the fruit, yoghurt, cereals etc. The garden is beautiful and peaceful. Plenty of outdoor seating. We were able to park safely inside. The property has good security and good WIFI. The area is quiet which we appreciated.

As a suggestion it would be nice for the owners/staff to open the windows a few hours ahead of a guest checking in. I would have liked the option of plain yoghurt and French press coffee rather than percolated.

I have stayed here before. Its secure, safe and comfortable. Breakfast is something to look forward to. Rooms are clean.

I was there during a cold spell. It was extremely cold and I found the little wall heater was not up to the task on the night it went to -7 deg. There were however extra blankets. The fact that you dont have a small fridge in your room isnt great.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Well located and is close to the Waterfront for shopping and meals. Full bouquet of dstv was a pleasure not that we really made use of it.

Room staff put two towels in room with 2 single beds we booked for our son while putting a single towel in room with double bed booked for wife and self but simple to sort out.

Breakfast was superb, as is the overall service from staff. The breakfast lady is exceptional. Clean rooms, with some good attention to detail. Full dstv of all channels. Aircon, safe environment and parking with outside security. Good wifi.

The fact that I did not have a fridge dedicated to my room. There is however a shared fridge which I opted not to use.

Good things? The breakfast was cooked as I like it. Rooms, as stated spanking clean. The Lady of the house and staff were helpful and welcoming but not intrusive. The whole place is so entirely peaceful you want to relax and think, almost to the point of not wanting to move along.

This would take a lot of effort to think what could be better, don’t try and reinvent the wheel or build a new mousetrap when the one you have does perfectly well

Breakfast was excellent. There is no loadshedding which is a huge bonus. We were also able to use a private lounge in the out-buiding which was very nice.
