The location and the view are perfect for a holiday feeling while in Cape Town, only one minute walking distance from the the camps bay strip with many restaurants, bars and shops. The room was very spacious and the staff waited for us for our late check in. The breakfast was great, with lots of freshly cut fruit! And last but not least, the view over the ocean from the room, but also from the breakfast place and the swimming pool (incl the sunset) is the best!

Our airconditioning wasn't working at the time. The swimming pool has only a few beds that are close to eachother, just something to take into consideration as you might need to head to the beach for some more space.

The selection of food provided catered for everyone and the quality was excellent. The staff at breakfast were excellent. The ocean view was amazing too.

It would be better if there was a in-house chef for dinner. It would be great if the fact that dinner is not available is communicated upfront during booking so that people have this information upfront.

The staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was superb and the view over the ocean with Table Mountain to the rear was magnificent. And the location to Camps Bay was excellent. Only two minutes to the white sandy beach, the many bars and restaurants.

The only thing that was a bit of an issue was that the lift didn’t work. We arrived on Sunday and were told it would be fixed by Tuesday. It still wasn’t fixed when we left 10 days later. There we quite a lot of stairs to climb to get up to reception and to our rooms. But I guess the exercise did us good!

It’s perfectly situated close to the seafront and with great views of not only the sea, but also the Lion’s Head, the ‘back’ of Table Mountain and looking along the Twelve Apostles. Not all rooms have a view but the sun terrace with pool and where you have breakfast or can enjoy evening drinks and the sunset does. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and kind. The breakfast was excellent - compliments to Givemore the chef!! The room we stayed in was small and without a view but was very clean, had a fab shower, and everything we needed was provided. Great value to be so close to all that Camp’s Bay offers and with free parking.

After proposing to my partner on Table Mountain we visited Royal Boutique Hotel, perfectly located near Camps Bay Beach, Restaurants and stores. Our check-in was a breeze and staff was very helpful by helping us with our luggage and we enjoyed the Old Lady (Lift) on our way up to our room. Upon entering Room 1, Superior Suite, it felt super spacious and value for money having its own balcony overlooking the whole of Camps Bay and Twelve Apostles with the spa bath to be enjoyed with your partner and patio loungers. The interior was well decorated and spacious. The super large comfortable bed provided the best luxurious sleep, the linen and extra cushions compliment the experience. The bathroom was large compared to other hotels, and so worth taking a bath in the classic Victorian Bath overlooking the ocean. The kitchenette was well organized with kettle, coffee maker and bar fridge "Honest bar policy" with water, sweets, chocolate, ciders, beer etc, Wine and Sparkling wine can also be ordered if needed, and extra services can be booked if needed. Do take note during Loadshedding, the bedside lights provide sufficient light and the numerous books around the suite provided an enjoyable reading experience. During Loadshedding the Boutique Hotel was well lit (bare in mind the lift does not work during Loadshedding, understandable for SA), during this time we went for a dining experience along Camps Bay. We woke up early to go enjoy Breakfast. It was very scrumptious, my partner asked for scrambled eggs instead of fried and was presented with heart shaped scrambled eggs, compliments on Creativity!! The Staff was VERY Friendly and helpful, during check-in, check-out and during our stay. The parking is sufficient. The pool area can be enjoyed located on the same level of the restaurant and lobby. It worth making a booking at this establishment and treat yourself to the Superior Suite

We stayed for 5 nights whilst visiting Cape Town. The room was large and very comfortable. We had a sea view room and it was stunning. The staff were exceptional. Very good location only 2 minutes to the Camps Bay beach and 20 minutes in a taxi to central Cape Town. They had left a list of recommended restaurants and activities for us in the room. We arranged our airport transfer through the hotel and our driver gave us a mini tour through the city and many recommendations on the way.

Lifts were out of order and we were on the top floor. However when we arrived and departed the staff helped us with our luggage up and down the stairs so it was only really an issue when we came home tired after hiking Table Mountain.

Good location, around the corner from several grocery shops and cafes in Camps Bay. Helpful staff and great breakfast options with fresh fruit. Parking was handy, as it’s right at the door of the hotel.

Room walls were really thin and we could hear any noise / chats from the room next to us and the hallway. Some guests checked in in the room next to us in the middle of the night and that led to a rough night of sleep.

The views- oh the views! Stay here just for the views. The room was also cutely decorated, and the lobby was lovely and renovated. The breakfast was very nice as well, and the staff very kind and accommodating.

The rooms are very dated (although I think they’re currently renovating). The bed was a bit too firm for our liking, but we slept fairly well. The lift was not working, even though based on the reviews, management has been saying that it would be up and running soon since about March or April. We were also told an airport transfer would be R1200, which was about 3x the price of Uber black.

The property is very clean and safe, I had a nice time staying there . Their waiters are 100% well trained very friendly.

Everything was fine however there was a miscommunication regarding their food we found in our room n we were told to pay them , the employer who called us was very rude n made us feel like we are thief’s but I’m glad the manager or owner called and we told him our side of the story and he understood us . On other things I can’t complain
