We were told you ask for the Jaccuzi to be switched on before you come as it takes 6hours as they also have to ensure other guests use it too prior to electricity costs which is not specified before booking. We asked that it gets switched on for morning use but it was never switched on

The hotel was In a good view of the ocean.Staff were friendly.

The expectation otn the hotel room, I thought I booked for the premium room to find that my room was standard. I was expecting a big bathroom tub and I found a shower, however it wasn't a big deal though. My Aircon wasn't working but I reported it and they fixed it the next day which was quick. I had no choice in choosing the room, they allocated me the room which was on the lower floor and I was expecting a higher floor in order to view the beach well.

Unbeatable views - some of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen in a hotel. Great location and walkable to camps bay.

Some staff were less friendly than others - overall OK. You have to remember this is a ‘hands off’ guest house and not a hotel so your expectations should be aligned with that (reading some other reviews I think this where a lot the negative comments derive from).

The most beautiful location with breathtaking views at every turn. The rooms and accommodation are comfortable and well appointed with excellent attention to detail. A divine breakfast spread and hot breakfast menu to select from accompanied by fresh fruit, juices and coffees of your choice. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and very attentive to our every need where applicable ensuring our stay was most enjoyable. I would highly recommend this venue and will definitely be back.

The house is beautiful. We had the Triton room which is enormous. Complimentary drink on arrival and drinks and snacks between 6.00pm and 7.00pm every evening. The view from the balcony and bathroom is stunning. The staff were superb. The breakfast was wonderful with a comprehensive selection and cooked options. It takes about 2 minutes to drive to the restaurants and maybe 15 minutes to walk. Simply fabulous.

The interior decor was beautiful. Our room was a good size with a huge bathroom with his and hers sink. Looking out at the ocean having your morning shower, amazing. The breakfast was all freshly made and delish. The manager was lovely, really Friendly and a great host .

Some guests did not like the noise from the main road, but it is what it is when you are right on the coast. The place is away from the hassle on main camps bay, 10 min walk.

The bathroom was absolutely phenomenal. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and on the ball. The view from the room was spectacular. The made to order breakfast was delicious.

Honestly, nothing. It was absolutely perfect. The next time we will try one of the suites but as a whole it was perfect. It was a lot more expensive than we would have liked but it was well worth the spend.

The view from the room was beautiful overlooking the ocean, camps bay, and lion's head. Camps bay restaurants are an easy 7min walk away. The staff was friendly and cleaned our room immediately when we left the building (this was done quickly). The breakfast was always on point, the drinks and snacks daily at 5pm was a really nice touch. The service was excellent.

Spent four nights at Azamare and enjoyed it thoroughly. Lovely guest house with dedicated team, comfortable rooms and lovely breakfast. Complimentary drinks and nibbles on the balcony whilst watching the sunset couldn't be better. Twenty minute drive to V&A or 7-minute walk to beach, Hop-on bus stop and a choice of restaurants in Camps Bay.

The facilities and the views are great , very clean and amazing Staff, I really loved the hospitality at Azamare and the staff is quick to respond and assist. The bathroom and view on the ocean is amazing.

The shutters in the bedroom and bathroom are hard to operate, for the price per night , modern and easier shutters should be expected by guests . Also, light still comes into the bedroom through the shutters in the morning.
