The hotel is very nice, location in Camps Bay is safe enough but maybe don't go walking at night. Beach or mountain views are both beautiful. Breakfast was lovely. Room is very clean, comfortable bed. Service is very good, you can call them for anything you need and they're very helpful and quick.

I think the room misses the mark. It's just not that nice for what you're paying, the living area is dated, there's an old fashioned tub that's cute but not practical to use. And little things made getting ready in this room clunky - the shower has no shelves to put your things so everything is on the floor, the bathroom doesn't have any outlets so you can't dry your hair in there, not a lot of counter space. It's worth about $350 USD a night and we paid close to $600 - really disappointing.

The location (right by the beach), the interior decoration (spacious and beautiful with high ceilings), the food (great tasty breakfast with fabulous choices) the staff (warm, welcoming and ever ready to help), the customer service (truly exceptional, not one complaint) , the stunning views; EVERYTHING was on point, 100%, Top Marks through and through. I can’t recommend it enough. Amazing people!!! I try not to stay in a hotel twice but I will come back to The Marly with my family once I have the chance. Truly amazing experience, can’t complain. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for their warm hospitality and never expecting a reward. THANK YOU!!!

Difficulty locating the entrance at first. if your taxi doesn’t know to drive up through the car park to get to the reception on the 3rd floor, you’ll have a hard time getting up with your suitcases. Guessing it’s the way the structure has been built but once you get a hang of the entrances and exits, you’ll be fine.

For a boutique there are lots of great amenities as there are restaurants directly beneath and they do room service. The room was flawlessly clean and comfortable, TV had access to Netflix. Decent Wi-Fi only interrupted by occasional load shedding. Beautiful sea view and quiet rooms. Safe promenade and beach as I was a solo female. Hotel advised to use Uber and this worked well on my stay.

On one occasion the turn down service didn't pull the door fully shut so I returned to find the door very slightly open, luckily no harm done. You do get more amenities in a hotel like they can call drivers etc which is helpful. Hard to fault this hotel I would stay again.

Staff were so lovely - very attentive and friendly, they definitely made our stay! Rooftop is great with nice views and comfy loungers. Breakfast is lovely with lots of options. Everything spotlessly clean. Had a great massage at the spa too! Mountain View from room is stunning.

Decor in rooms not really to my taste but a personal preference and everything really clean so can’t fault it too much. Just not sure would say it’s 5 star in that sense.

Spacious hotel / room / bathroom with lovely decor throughout. Comfortable bed, lush towels. The sea-view rooms have a brilliant view overlooking Camps Bay. The hotel staff are all incredibly lovely and helpful. There is free parking on the rooftop.

The hotel is above a little shopping centre which a lot of people flagged as a negative - however it was actually very useful for us. The shopping centre has a fully stocked chemist, laundry service, Woolworths, hairdressers etc., and there are at least five restaurants as well.

Excellent location and ocean view. Breakfast choices were lovely. House keeping service was exceptional and super clean.

The breakfast service was inconsistent both quality and speed, there is room for improvement. And the hotel opens the roof top to public, sometimes visitors can be noisy and not respectful to guests’ private space.

that there are two entrances/exits into this hotel. you use your card to get in & out. I found this to be unsafe. anyone can gain access if they pretended that they were staying in the hotel. they could come in with another guest as there is no security. I was surprised by this especially for a five star hotel. the restaurants are all outside the hotel too. it lacks atmosphere in the hotel as it comes across as disjointed.

The Marly is situated right across the beach. There are numerous restaurant, bar and supermarket options within the hotel's shopping plaza. There are also many other restaurants along the beautiful beach strip. The views are breathtaking, sea in the front with a backdrop of the beautiful 12 apostles mountain range. Marcella and her team went out of their way to make our stay a truly pleasurable one! Thank You so much!

Absolutely nothing! We loved everything.

staff are very friendly and the rooms are beautiful I checked in very late at night they were able to get my room cleaned for the second time before checking in the hotel is located in a very local neighborhood that is surrounded by many good restaurants and overlooking the ocean the spa service was amazing this was the reason I booked the hotel

i asked for a free upgrade they were not able to facilitate because they were fully booked however they were nice about their response

Great location - right in the middle of all the restaurants but could still hear the waves from my room. Staff was very helpful booking tours for me and making sure I knew where I was going. Felt safe. Ate at the CodFather every night - just down the street and such amazing fresh seafood.

Breakfast was pretty slow service so if you are in a hurry let them know!
