An excellent location, less than 5 minutes drive from the airport. We had a layover and were only there from 11pm until 7am, so did not have time to test the breakfast or other facilities.

The bed was a standard double bed, so smaller than I'm used to at a hotel. There was no sheet on the bed. There was no vending machine to get snacks or drinks. The checkout process was a little confusing, as they only realised when we were already at the door that we had to pay them directly and that Booking.com had not paid them.

Breakfast was good and comprehensive. Dinner was also a simple menu, but very good and tasty. Loved the new 'Body and hair' bar in the bathroom.

The place was clean, staff were friendly and it was a great place to stay over for 1 night while we waited for our domestic flight the day after we came back from our international trip.

The hotel does not have a shuttle service of their own. They source the transport out to a third party. You have to arrange with the reception for the shuttle to come and pick you up at the airport - which was fine - but the shuttle is quite expensive relative to Uber etc. (R120 per person oneway for a trip of only about 4km). You can get a Uber XL for about R150 per trip (this was at 11:00pm at night from the airport to the hotel).

The right place 2 mins from Jan Smuts Airport Clean and respectable ,somewhere to relax before the trek. Food looks good Bar available and a small choice of wine which is OK Tele in room not DSTV. DSTV in bar.grear sandwiches. Rooms are OK clean separate loo and bathroom Plenty of towels ask for a hair dryer. Aircon room. Garden views. Close to shopping centre's East Rand Mall Plenty of parking in the shade. Third time here won't go anywhere else when over. 5 mins to best casino in Africa.

Breakfast at R200 is an option,we had one but there are so many cafes around 5 mins away you are spoilt for choice from Wimpy to Mug and Bean. It's not Sun City

Even though did not take breakfast the lodge was awesome and exceed the value for money. I can not doubt to recommend it to other people

Cleanliness, the shower, and comfort of the bed made my stay to be excellent

Small but well appointed rooms with all necessary facilities. Comfortable beds, clean and well serviced. Very good location and well worth the reasonable price.

Bathroom a bit too small

Breakfast buffet was very nice. Staff was the best. Best hotel experience ever.

Only negative I can think of is no mini fridge in room. The rest was everything perfect.

The service from the hotel restaurant is very poor and the staff don't really know what is going on. I ordered the spinach and bacon pizza but it came without spinach. I ordered a bottle of white Sauvignon Blanc and got a bottle of red Cabernet Sauvignon and they could not understand what the problem was. Nothing training can not fix. The table was not wiped down and I did not have any cutlery. So my stay was very pleasant, it was very quiet and I have a good night's rest. There also was no coffee station as pictured but the water bar was nice. Internet was also good.

If you are travellling alone on business or for a fast transfer to the Or Tambo Airport, the size of the room is fine. Pretty much a new hotel. Every facility, equipment is new in October 2022. Very convenient location for your to catch an early morning flight from Or Tambo.

The room is too small for 2 people. But one person should be fine. The air-conditioner does not working (no cooling), only blowing the air like a fan. Luckily Johannesburg is not a very hot place. No complimentary drinking water in room. You have to walk to the lobby for a water station.
