This property was perfectly placed for the conference I was attending in the nearby Boardwalk Convention Centre. It is also only 100 m from the beachfront. My room was a decent size, quiet, and faced onto a pleasant central garden. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was adequate - although I have had better.

The free WiFi was slow. There was also a notice requesting patrons not to stream movies because the internet was capped. Really?!!!! This is 2023; who doesn't provide fast free internet in this day and age? There was a TV linked to DSTV (digital TV), but I couldn't get it to work properly and, to be frank, I wasn't interested in the limited offering in any case. It certainly didn't compare to my usual streaming service...

I had a wonderful stay with Cliff and Jackie! I bookended my BazBus trip here, and had a bit of a complication with which days I was reserving. They were incredibly accommodating, allowing me to check-in/check-out at weird times and store some luggage during my trip. Cliff even waited with outside for a Uber so I wouldn't be waiting by myself. Breakfast had many options and was delicious, and there are some very friendly dogs to greet you in the morning! The beach and mall are within walking distance, and the mall has a little grocery store which made it easy to buy food for the day. I would absolutely stay again.

We had one night at Beachwalk following a couple of nights at a game reserve and didn't want to drive too far. I don't think I would stay at Port Elizabeth/Summerstrand again as there is not that much around, but our night was perfectly acceptable. Due to the drought conditions the pool was out of action but the gardens were still nice to sit in to read and soak up the sun. The room itself was probably the smallest we had during our holiday but had everything we needed and was very clean. Location was handy for the shopping mall and the seafront, and we had a lovely dinner at the nearby Ginger. Breakfast was very good and the host very friendly.

Probably one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in! We were in town for SA triathlon champs and didn’t want to fork out the crazy prices of the hotels so decided to try this one as it was very conveniently located along the beach front (3 min walk) but tucked down one of the roads. Jackie (the host) was so warm and welcoming it felt like a home away from home. The rooms were spacious, spotless, beds comfortable, well furnished with a fridge, kettle, microwave, crockery. I also loved how quiet it was and didn’t even notice the other guests staying there. I am almost hesitant to post this as I don’t want anyone else to know about this this gem of a place! I cannot wait to be back!

It was convenient to all we wanted to do in Port Elizabeth yet not in center of city. Close to airport. Lovely staff who were great communicators. Owner arranged an excellent tour of Addo Elephant Park. The center court yard is very private and nicely planted. Great breakfast. Security excellent. Comfy beds. Liked a microwave and mini fridge.

Great location to stroll on the beach and attend the Hobie Beach Parkrun. Shower pressure was nice and strong 👌🏼 Towels felt thick and soft and new. Tea/coffee /snacks well stocked daily. Great breakfast. Friendly owners.

No drain plug to use the tub. No shower cap provided. These are small things for the overall great experience.

Great location, an easy few minutes walk along the beach to the shopping mall. Beds were super comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the owners were warm and welcoming. Would definitely stay again. Great little mini bar fridge with snacks in the room, with complimentary water, tea and biscuits.

I stayed for one night at Beachwalk Bed and Breakfast in December 2022. The location is excellent: the beach is around the corner—I enjoyed a morning run on the promenade—and the Boardwalk Mall is a stone's throw away. The rooms, set around the swimming pool, each have a patio. I had a comfortable, corner en-suite with a generously stocked kitchenette. Overally, my stay was lovely and relaxing.

We loved it so much. Beautiful room, lovely bathroom, stunning garden, pool and lovely surroundings. The breakfast was delicious every day. Our host and hostess, Jackie, are both amazing people. Most friendly service and lovely ambience so close to the beach. Thank you Clifford and lovely Jackie, for making our stay unforgettable. We appreciate everything you did for us. We can recommend this place for sure!!!

It was the perfect getaway week. I would just like to have a handrail for frail people in the shower.

Perfect location, near eateries, shops and the beach. Nice safe and quiet place on a side street. Host was very helpful in suggesting things to do and helping us organise things.
