Babalwa the receptionist, her welcome was exceptional, she was lovely, even helped us with the check in around 12 as I asked on email and her service was lovely, she is the people's person and gives exceptional service everyday we saw her, she would greet n ask daily about our stay. She is such a darling

The other lady who was replacing babalwa, she was not friendly,I don't even know her name cos she had no name badge on,. Light in complexion and not user friendly. always serious, looked bored n irritated to be there n to be serving people. Not once during my stay did she even greet me, even if I stand on the counter waiting for her help. She doesn't deserve to be the face of sun1, even on our checkout, she didn't say anything. Just took out card n continued with her work, unlike babalwa she didn't even ask me about my luggage storage. I had to ask her for it, which she took her time to help me. Her service was very bad, how I wish babalwa was there during our departure, it would have being great n a lovely n memorable departure.

I want to firstly thank uBabalwa the receptionist. I was communicating with her the whole day. She was cheerful, helpful and friendly, I arrived very late but there was no fuss. My room was cute and clean, it had everything I needed. This place is perfect for an in and out, I say this because my room didn't have a fridge or coffee facility. I didn't need it as I was in Friday and out Saturday. Perfect for when you don't know your time of arrival as well. I felt very safe the whole night. Shout out to the security guards at the door, it was pouring with rain, but they still did their jobs with a smile. I loved it.

The place that it was located in was central and close to the beach , the rooms were extremely clean and the cleaning staff was extremely nice .

The front desk resptionist that assisted us when we were checking In was quite rude and made our first day bad bc we were very annoyed at her and her behavior , please hire people who understand that being at the front desk and just being kind and doing their job plays a huge role in making sure that we have a comfortable stay and leisure time , they are technically the the face of the place , we need people who are warm and kind .

The views the clean rooms the friendly staff and the ladies that clean the rooms go out of their way 👌, the halaal restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel makes it very convenient for the Muslims to find places to eat

Although it says keep the noise down people were screaming during the night on the ground floor, the staff at the reception should try to improve by helping people to book for an extended stay and not say we got nothing as when I went online to check there was availability so that was disappointing

The location, room and staff

When we arrived it was raining and the security did not immediately offer me the disabled people parking. As a result, I got quite wet and it was slippery. Luckily when I complained and informed them that I had the necessary parking disk, they opened the disabled people parking. I feel that even if I had forgotten the disk, they could see that I was disabled and should not have even asked for the disk. Oh, a bath tub would have completed the beautiful experience. Otherwise, I'm getting used to showers in my old age.

I had booked with them for Wednesday check in and due to delayed drive I arrived late.But the staff helped me check in with no issues and hassles. My family and I had a pleasant stay with such a lovely team taking care of us. Siya and Babalwa the best always so friendly and polite they work with so much passion and always willing to help...Those 2 practically live there...give them a raise!!!!They are the dream team... loved it here

There was nothing I disliked.

My wife enjoyed the free coffee, the rooms were also warm and clean, bedding was also quite comfortable and clean not heavy but warm.

The questions about Bank cards at the reception. I did not mind providing the identification as I normally do when using this service. Either than that is was good. I wish we're offered sea view room as well, but it's no train smash we were okay in the ground floor with garden view chosen by the reception on our behalf. If it may interest you to install bar fridge and microwave per room, there ssems to be no space though 😊

The location and cleanliness of the units. Thank you to the ladies that worked tirelessy to clean the rooms during that festive period. It seemed they were a few on every shift for such a lot of guests and rooms. When they forgot to put something in the room like soap or a clean plastic cup, they immediately fix it when it's brought to their attention, which was appreciated.

Room and bathroom was a bit cramped but that's Sun1 formally known as Formula 1 for you. You book it for the convenience of being central to everything.

Did not make use of the breakfast option. love the location of the hotel as well as the affordability. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff also a plus. Although fully booked, I was impressed with the noise level and how everyone respect each other.

I love my coffee and tea. Would prefer a kettle in the room, even though you have coffee and tea machine available at reception.
