Hotel Skypark Myeongdong 1

Location perfect, just in the middle of everything, so even dont need to use public transport often. Bus stop to/from airport just in 5min Very clean room, towels are changed every day Fridge, teapot, water, tea and coffee in the room, like all u need for stay. Staff at the reception always polite and kind.

Breakfast, like ok for 1 night, but it is 100% same all the time, with something similar to coffee, but not real one :) For 3rd breakfast already purchased some extras like cheese and ham with us. We had triple room, and on the picture it was window in reality it is not a window, but i fake window to next room, so u dont have day light any moment.

The room was very well designed, no issue leaving 2 medium luggage opened throughout. The sound proofing was excellent, did not hear my neighbours at all. Location was best, could eat and shop till late. Olive and young and CU were just opposite. Hotel staff was very very kind and gave my kids rice cracker everyday, and I had free masks and skincare. Breakfast repeated but it had everything we wanted - instant noodles, cereal, eggs, toasts, salad, yogurt, milk/juice/coffee/tea. Washer and dryer were very handy, we had no issues using (if it happened to be occupied, consider walking to CU just opposite)

- 2 dustbins in the room simply too small. - not fault of hotel. It was winter and we took taxi everywhere we went. Just be careful that the taxi drivers might send you to the wrong skypark hotel nearby even with a name card. - remember to bring your own toothbrush/toothpaste

good accomodation at a very convenient location near the subway, with lots of shopping and food.

we booked a triple room, without realising it has no window. It felt claustrophobic. Service staff was very helpful and we were able to upgrade to a family room with window.

The hotel is right smack in the middle of the bustling Myeondong area, and is within walking distance from shopping and F&B outlets. Really convenient especially for shoppers. There are subway stations nearby too. It is good that even though it is in a busy shared pedestrian mall/road, taxis can still drive right up to the hotel entrance. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread was simple but sufficient. Nice to have a laundromat service.

Room is really small, and we didn't have any view from the room, so it was pretty dim. The shower head was fixed very high and at an odd angle, so for the first day or two while adjusting to the room, the toilet floor, and the bath towels hanging beside the shower became wet. Not much of a wardrobe space. Our room didn't have a view, so it was very dark and dingy everytime we are in the room.

Staff was very nice and the location is absolutely great. I was vey happy with my room and I was given a bathtub as I requested if possible, which really made my day. Over all very good experience and good value for money. I will book this hotel again if I travel to Seoul.

You can hear every little movement and sound from other rooms and hallways. Normal talk in the hallway woke me up few times during the night.

location is superb, right in the middle of Myeongdong shopping area. Access was easy, nearest subway is just few minutes walk. room was clean, we stayed for 9 days total and had our room cleaned every 2 days. coin laundry and water dispenser are available. breakfast was available from 7-9 strict, sadly we weren't able to enjoy it during our whole stay since the kids woke up later.

Facilities are basic, the fridge was quite small (only fit a few bottles). Breakfast was strict at 7-9 only, at 8.50 the staffs started telling people that they were about to close. breakfast in the room was not allowed. Since the hotel was located in a busy shopping district, if you arrived in evening-night times (especially on weekends), expect to have crowded access to the hotel.

The staff was very accommodating as we needed a last minute place to stay, location is centralized right in the heart of Myeongdong itself. Room was neat & clean, spacious enough for two person and comfortable for a restful night. This chain of hotel has various locations around the country & within Myeongdong itself, there were quite a few of them so if you're looking to stay right in the heart of Myeongdong for your shopping spree - this is it!

All amenities were provided except toothbrushes, would have been great if this were included. Soundproofing can be further improved as you can hear cleaning or noises happening in the hallway once morning comes.

The location is great. It is in the heart of Seoul while there are lots of shops and pubs around the hotel. The 2nd staff (working on the afternoon of Aug 10th 2023) is great. He tried his best to fix the air conditioner. And when cannot fix it, he proposed a new room for me quickly.

The 1st staff (working at night of Aug 9th 2023) attitude was not good when he did not want to fix the air conditioner. Instead, he assumed the air conditioner was set to 17 degree Celsius by default.

The hotel is located in the heart of the Myeongdong area and so close to plenty of food, shopping, and transit stations for easy access to transportation. The rooms are a little bit on the smaller side but for one or two travelers, it's perfect (because hopefully you're planning to spend more time outside of the hotel room than inside, right?). I didn't even realize there was a complimentary breakfast in the mornings and it was quite a nice surprise. The staff is attendant and friendly.

I prefer to have as much natural lighting as possible but the rooms are either super bright or very dark depending which switches you have one.

Location was excellent! Very close to all amentities and shops which are virutally right at the hotel's door step. Transportation was very convenient. It is close to subways and bus stations. Airport limousine bus is just round the corner. The Front Lobby Staff are always accessible, helpful & courteous. All guests can help themselves to a daily complimentary breakfast with a good healthy selection. Likewise the kitchen staff & cleaners are hardworking & polite.

Their Wifi tend to be rather weak at times.
