Anba Boutique is perfectly situated for a mini Barcelona break, with easy access to the Metro - station is right outside, plenty of places to grab a bite and a short walk to the main tourist hub and Las Ramblas. Our flight was over four hours late which meant we arrived early hours around 1am in Barcelona and our original hotel arrival was about 10pm not 2am. I mention this because of the extraordinary steps our host Laura took to ensure that we were able to arrive at the hotel safely. Laura kept in touch with us throughout and as soon as we landed, came from home to let us into the hotel, show us around and completed our check in later after a good sleep and breakfast. This was over and beyond what I would have expected and was the best first impression! The breakfast choice was impressive and we enjoyed a traditional freshly cooked Spanish omelette from Laura every morning which set us up for the day! Plenty of choice and dietary needs thoughtfully taken care of! The room was perfect for us with such a comfortable bed, well furnished and a beautifully fitted bathroom with a very refreshing shower. The beautiful artwork and original features simply enhanced the beauty of the hotel. There was a fridge which was well stocked with a good range of mini bar refreshments as well - a nice touch. How good the room and breakfast were is why we were able to complete our first day of sightseeing on just four hours sleep! I would totally recommend Anba Boutique as the perfect place to stay whether you are new to Barcelona or experienced traveller. The incredible care and hospitality shown by Laura and her team was simply outstanding and we were sad to depart. Such a lovely place to stay and excellent service. We stayed for 4 nights in one of the luxury rooms facing out to the back. With a fresco to die for and sympathetically restored roomsIt felt like we were in real Barcelona. Out in the back courtyard terrace, it reminded me of "Rear Window" movie, small glimpses and sounds of local apartments and people living there. We found that charming. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, and it felt like a real home from home. We also had some great chats with other guests at the breakfast tables. The icing on the cake was the lovely Manager Laura (and the new lady, sorry can't remember her name), who went out of their way to host with kindness and good humour. We would definitely return. Since I booked the hotel the communication was excellent. Laura received us in our arrival to the hotel for the check in. We got excellent recommendations from her. The hotel is cozy and elegant. The rooms were super clean with daily housekeeping. Everyday we had an excellent service and staff is friendly. Regarding the location with the metro and taxi stop in front is a plus. I will recommend 100% !!!!

Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and cleaned regularly. Continental breakfast was delicious. We were offered a made to order omelette every morning. I am gluten free and alternatives were provided for me every day. Location was great. We could walk everywhere from where we were.

Just a small gripe, the toilet door was just a screen door so didn't reach the floor or ceiling. Doesn't leave much to the imagination when the person you're travelling with is using it! My husband and I laughed it off but if you're a more shy person or in a fairly new relationship it might be a bit embarrassing.

We loved the location there is a metro station stairway outside of the front door, a taxi stand, and a bus stop. It is easy to walk to most neighborhoods within the city as well as some of the sites like the PIcasso Museum, the Barri Quarter, Gothic quarter, and the Cathedral. All of the staff from the cleaning woman to the people at the front desk were very informative, helpful, and accommodating. The smallness of this hotel made it seem very safe during the pandemic. For US travelers there is a testing site on the same block.

A little more variety on the breakfast menu would have been nice, However, the fresh fruit, breads, and yogurt we were served every day were delicious.

The hotel is very small but absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and very supportive. The room we stayed at was not very big, but comfortable. Breakfast is good. Common areas are very comfortable. You can take some books to read or stay at a nice terrace with a glass of wine. The location is very convenient. Metro station is just at the entrance to the hotel. Placa de Catalunya is 3 blocks away. Perfect reach by airport bus shuttle.

The only thing we found strange is that the bathroom is literally in the room and not as a separate room behind the door. Means the sink to brush your teeth is close to the bed and if someone uses a toilet or shower, the second person can hear everything.

Relly exceptional: host was very supportive and friendly, location perfect - in the old city/coty center and close to every spot, metrostation and bus stop right in front of the hotel. rooms beautiful, of good size and comfortable. I really loves having delicioua breakfast on the lovely teracce. It was really great value for money, I recommend it for 100%!

Great location, right in the heart of things but right next to the metro. The hotel staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast and the rooms are furnished very tastfully. If you're thinking of staying here, do.

Couldn't fault it.

Great location in the city centre, walking distance from La Rambla and Parc de la Ciutadella and the metro station is just in front of the building with good connections to the main landmarks. The walls and the balcony door are amazing isolating the outside noise which you only realise how loud it is when you open the door. The staff was very kind, waiting for us from a late flight and being there for us during our stay.

The room ventilation needs to be cleaned up as every time it started a slightly unpleasant smell was coming out of it instead of fresh air.

The location of the hotel is great, not far from Catalunya and La Rambla. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning and there was an outside area that you can relax in. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and she was happy to give you any information required. Our room was big enough for just the two of us and we had a small balcony to sit and watch the world go by. There are lots of shops, restaurants, supermarkets and convenience stores nearby plus there are plenty of attractions to visit in Barcelona.
