I've picked this hotel based on the location (as my flight back home was early in the morning and I had my meetings in the Pl. Universitat). It is about 2-minute walk from the Aerobus stop, which will take you just about 20 minutes to the airport (and runs every few minutes). The metro and many bus stops are also very close. Yet, my room was exceptionally quiet. I am really sad I only had enough time to enjoy breakfast on my first day, because other mornings were kinda busy for me. The selection is great, especially of local products, such as ham, cheese or pastry. They also have a good selection of fruits. The only thing which is lacking is vegetables. The staff was very nice as well as the bar, where you can enjoy a drink or a simple dinner (if you do not manage to get it in the city, which I would highly recommend). It was not my first time in Barcelona (at all) but I would also recommend the place for touristic purposes. You can get to all the important things in Barcelona within a few minutes on public transport or by not so long and very pleasant walk (~25 minutes to Pl. Catalunya). The room was comfortable and the aircon was working. Nothing to be very worried about and everything was spotlessly clean. The price was quite high, but I was booking last minute at the peak of the touristic season. Everything was expensive atm. Overall very pleasant experience.

A few things (cupboards, shower) showed a few marks of usage. Otherwise nothing.

I arrived very early (8am) and was able to leave my luggage with the reception, whilst I went put for a coffee and explored some of the nearby sights. I returned at 11.30am and they were able to check me in early. Room was a decent size with great facilities. Reception and restaurant staff were friendly and remembered me and my room #. They were even able to provide a spare iphone cable to borrow, as mine broke. Same breakfast options daily, but a good variety.

There were disruptions in the local streets and around the city due to La Vuelta (bicycle race). Unfortunately, staff were not very helpful/unable to assist in suggesting alternative transport options for me. Other than to tell me the bus I needed to catch to get to Montjuic would not run due to the street closures.

Very good hotel. On a perfect location, near the first stop of the AeroBus, and metro is also nearby. Breakfast from 07:00 - 11:00, perfect! :) It was delicious, copious the whole time. The bar inside the hotel is also recommended. Check out till 12:00. :) And you can leave all the luggage there for free if you want. Wifi signal was even on the 4th floor on maximum.

Strange, but my room did not have a toilet brush...

Space of the room is excellent, perfect size and the bathroom is huge too which is brilliant. The bed was very comfortable also. The staff were helpful and friendly, always helped us to order taxis when needed. Julian was very friendly and went above and beyond to help us find some fun things to do in Barcelona! He also recommended some great food places! Rooms were always cleaned perfectly. The location is perfect - right in the centre of the city with so many bus links, metros around and some places in walking distance. A lot of supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and pharmacies nearby too! It’s also close to the airport with a direct bus there only a five minute walk.

The air conditioning wasn’t great enough for the extreme heat. I found myself sweating a lot in my hotel room even with the AC on. Sometimes it felt as if it wasn’t even on. I also didn’t like how you can’t open the windows because of the AC doesn’t work then windows should be functioning for fresh air and a breeze in the room. A fan also would have been great to help with the heat if that was the best that the AC could be. It would be nice if there was a pool, though I understand this may be difficult with the location of the hotel but I think having a pool would attract more customers!

The location of the hotel is fantastic. The metro station is a few steps away, there are a couple of small restaurants around, and in the evenings you can pop out for a short walk with a fantastic view at Palau Nacional de Montjuïc. I was worried it would be loud there at night due to the busy road, but the room was perfectly quiet. We also loved the rich breakfast buffet. Finally, the staff was really lovely.

The bed was comfortable, but we couldn't pull the duvet out at the bottom, and it wasn't "dressed" well - we were supposed to get under a simple sheet, on top of which was the duvet, and then another simple sheet on top of the duvet - which obviously didn't hold together and got all messed up throughout the night... a little thing, but quite frustrating

The hotel was very comfortable and the food was great . it is on a busy dual carriageway road close to Plaza d'Espana. However the hotel bedrooms we had 301 facing the road and 307 facing into the atrium were both very quiet at night. They had a good size bathroom, with free toiletries. The electric blind meant the room was very dark and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had the set menu dinner at the hotel. The staff allowed us to make a change, allowing us to have cod instead of salmon, as a main course on the set menu. All the food we had was very tasty especially the desserts. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the wide choice of items on offer. The scrambled eggs were excellent and we particularly enjoyed the orange juice and the cakes .

My friend had room 301. It was a bit tight getting around the bed and we felt the large TV was too big for the wall. It stuck out and someone could easily hit themselves on it. I found in room 307 there was only one bedside table, but the electric socket was on the other side of the bed. I then had to put my phone on the floor to charge it. The only alternative seemed to be to use the kettle socket. I found the TV remote confusing, as it had very few controls. It was good to have a bottle of water in the fridge, but it seems it's just for the first night. However we were only at the hotel one night.

Staff were absolutely amazing and very accommodating. They allowed us to check in early with no extra charge and one staff member in particular was keen to share his knowledge and tips about the city. We asked for a recommendation for dinner and they recommended a local restaurant and provided us with a free glass of cava voucher. Room was clean & comfortable. Shower was good pressure and good temperature.

Hotel had a metro station and bus station right outside which was very good for transport links. It does not take long to get into the main area, but this hotel would be perfect if it was walking distance to the center.

Return visit to this hotel as good value and modern facilities. Smart and very clean room, with large TV. When booking, I had expressed a room preference (floor level/aspect) if available and receptionist was able to provide this at check-in. Staff very helpful. Very convenient for the Aerobus stop to/from Barcelona airport as well as Pl. Espanya metro station.

Only very minor points. There didn't seem to be that many power sockets for charging, plugging in the kettle, etc. The mini fridge seemed not to be chilled however the receptionist was happy to ensure it was checked.

The room was clean & spacious, the size of the twin beds was bigger than expected, TV was huge, staff was so nice ! Located in Plaza Espanya, Loved its proximity to the Metro (Espanya)/Bus station that takes you pretty much everywhere, to the Arenas Mall, to Barcelona Sants station (around 10 minutes by walk).

The wifi connection was pretty slow in the 6th floor. I think there was no fridge in our room. The hotel was still a bit far from the main shopping streets of BCN (Rambla, Pl Catalunia) but still accessible from the metro station.

We had a fabulous stay here. Our bedroom on the 6th floor was huge, with a big shower room, massive bed and excellent storage. Also very clean. Brilliant soundproofing, no noise from anywhere despite facing a busy road. Location great - so close to España Metro, and some good bars/cafes. The buffet breakfast at the hotel was excellent, lots of choice of lovely fresh food, and plenty of tables. The staff were helpful and efficient - we had an issue with our room safe, and the friendly staff member from maintenance was with us within about 3 minutes! We'd definitely stay here again.
