The location of the hotel is just one street off the Plaça de Espanya and very close to the Metro station. The room was an interior room so it was shielded from the noise of the street. The bed was firm but not so firm that it felt like sleeping on a wooden board.

The only thing missing from the room was a chair to sit on. While the room did have a cushioned alcove bench next to the window, it was not as comfortable to sit on as a chair would have been.

Good location, close to restaurants and sites. Stayed in a ‘suite’ which was a good size for Europe hotel. Rather generous use of the term ‘suite’ but comfortable to stay in. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend if you want to stay in a smaller boutique hotel. The pool and terrace was small but would be a good spot in warmer months.

Quiet, quaint boutique hotel very close to metro station and great access to all there is to do in Barcelona. We had a small suite, which has a larger bathroom, and window seat. Another couple traveling with us had a standard room, and it was quite small, as was their bathroom. Neither room has a dresser, and very tiny closets, so you live out of your suitcase. No air conditioning in winter-just heat. It was warm, but windows do open to get some cool air. Breakfast had an excellent assortment of hot and cold items, and nespresso coffee. We were very pleased with this hotel.

Would have been nice to have a dresser to put our clothes away, but the rooms are too small to accomodate that.

Good location and the staff were very helpful.

The breakfast was not included. You can get a nice breakfast outside the hotel for a fraction of the price.

Only criticism is that the pool opens so late so makes it impossible to swim before going out for day!

The room was very comfortable. It was quite spacious and the bed was a nice size. The breakfast was very nice. English and continental breakfast. They serve a gorgeous fresh orange juice and a nice coffee. The best would be how soundproof the hotel is. We were there during the final between England and Spain and although we could hear Spain celebrating, it was still very quiet.

The main negatif would be the pool. It is really misleading and makes the hotel quite expensive. The pool's size is around 2m/8m. It's tiny and there were only 8 loungers for the entire hotel which meant not many chances to have a free one. Also, there were no parasoles so unless you want to get burnt, you can't stay very long. In the room, there are too many mirrors, especially the big just opposite the shower, but that's just me! lol The criteria for the hotel I wanted was with a pool, but I don't consider their pool to be acceptable.

Great Hotel in a great neighborhood, just a stone's throw away from Montjuic park across the road from the old bull-fighting-arena-turned-mall. Nice decor, comfortable rooms and beds, and really nothing to complain about. 15 mins by car from the airport and about an hours walk from... let's say the Sagrada Familia, so actually in a perfect neightborhood that's quiet and doesn't have too many tourists.

The Wifi password never worked for me but I couldn't be bothered to solve the issue. We got complimentary water on day one, it would've been nice to recieve a bottle at least every day.

Nice boutique hotel. Love the design of the rooms and how quiet it is. The pool is nice, not too big, but fine if it isn't too crowded. The street is quiet, bit of construction, but that didn't bother us as our room was at the back of the hotel.

The beds are super hard, wasn't comfortable at all. If the beds were better the hotel would have definitely gotten a 10 from us. Parking is in the garage on the other side of the street. You get a discount as hotel guest, but every time we wanted to pay there was nobody at the garage reception so we ended up paying full fair for all days.

The room was spacious and well presented. The large king size bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning/heating worked very well. Shower and bathroom was very clean. In-room facilities were sufficient. We had breakfast only the once during our stay and, although quite pricey at 17 Euros each, it was excellent - great choice of food and drinks. The eating area was compact, which was good, comfortable and clean. The one member of staff who was present was very helpful and friendly. All reception staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. The entrance foyer was very distinctive, with a pleasant ambiance and lovely aroma, almost spa-like. It had a large area of comfortable seats and tables. The 7 floors were accessed by 2 lifts which were glass lined, set within an internal atrium providing natural light to the lift well in the entrance foyer. The rooftop pool was great - small with about 8 seats/loungers. The hotel is very well located for transport connections by metro, bus and taxi to the city attractions, with a bus link close by to the airport. The train station is also a short distance away. All in all, we had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay at Hotel Ofelias.

Although the hotel is well served by transport links, it is not in the main heart of the city and so it is about a 20-30 min bus or taxi ride (shorter in the metro which we didn't use) to visit the main attractions.

Just coming in the hotel. The smell. It smelled really nice. Even the bathroom amenities smelled good. It's a nice and cozy boutique hotel. Not far from the public transport but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle from the crowd. The hotel is nice and quiet. Enough restaurants in the area. Walked a lot in the neighborhood and felt safe.

It's not really a family hotel. Which is not bad at all for the peace and quiet. And my kids enjoyed the small pool anyway. Which i think should be cleaned a bit more and better. That's the only thing.
