The hostel is wlnderfully located, which is a good plus while visiting Barcelona. The staff was very nice also😊

The main light in the room was not that bright so it help that each bed has a little light.

Location is great. Hostal looks nice.

The only thing is the house rules could be a bit more 'social' requesting guests to take into consideration that they booked a shared room and don't talk loud, put on all the lights in the room after midnight, taking showers and dryblowing hair after midnight.etc. Also I would put a curtain at each bed so people can 'close' themselves off for a little bit more privacy when sleeping. I felt this was a great miss at this place. I was in the view of everybody when they opened the door. Other hostals have a curtain or some other separation so there is more privacy.

The location was great. We could easily walk to the main attractions or just get lost in the nearby streets for some good city exploration. Really liked the terrace and the convenience to have a free coffee each morning in a nice atmosphere. Clean rooms. The staff was very polite and friendly, made us feel welcomed 😊

We weren't big fans of the double mattress bed, but I guess that's a matter of personal comfort taste. The shower drain was a bit smelly. Again, only a matter of personal taste, but the breakfast options seemed a bit limited.(although you had the good option of using the kitchen to prepare your own)

This is a great option for Barcelona. Absolutely perfect location, walking distance from all major touristic attractions and to local bars and restaurant areas. Main street, many stores and restaurants open late very nearby. 2 blocks from subway and charming neighborhood too. The room was very spacious, but bathroom had a broken door and lockers were drawers on the stairs, which made it difficult to use and mine was broken. But beds were comfortable and cleaning was well done most days. Reception staff is very helpful and friendly. Excellent value for money.

The bathroom was in the room which is great, but the glass door for the shower was broken and "fixed" with a temporary curtain that left everything wet. Lockers were drawers under each step of stairs to upper beds - although spacious, very inconvenient to use and mine was broken.

Great location. Modern facilities. Nice terrace. Free coffee (from machine). I wouldn't mind staying again.

Noise could be heard from fellow guests in hallway and in room next door early in the morning (sounded like they had just returned from a night out). The shower was on a raised platform. Had slight difficulties getting out as I had nothing sturdy to hold on to. After booking I later received an email informing me of a security incident and to not click on any links in emails/messages. I continued to receive emails and WhatsApp messages asking me to update my details for check in but I wasn't completely sure if they were legitimate (the WhatsApp contact name looked suspicious: "Guest Services"). Upon arrival on the day of check-in, I asked about it but was told that everything had been fixed and no further explanation.

Our stay was better than we could of imagined. Facilities were impeccable, staff extremely helpful and kind. Our room was ready early and we were able to check in (at an extra cost). On the top floor overlooking the main street. Location couldn't have been better ! Slightly further from the beach than we hoped but in a very safe neighborhood on the same street as Casa Ballito. All shared facilities were great, courtyard for breakfast or for a little escape from the heat under the umbrellas with a book. Have already recommended this to so many friends and will definitely be back !!

Our stay was lovely with nothing negatively impacting the experience. Only minor inconvenience was only having one room key, although didn't pose an issue as me and my partner were together 24/7.

Unpleasant toilet smell comes from the only window that ventilates the room. The toilet is divided with a fast transparent frosted glass from the room and has no ventilation. A Lego gift (worth 10 euros) that may colleague bought for his little son disappeared from the room. We reported it to the reception, where the kind and helpful lady said after a short chat with somebody, that they didn't know anything about it. We bought other new gift for the little boy :)

We stayed on the top floor, with French doors and a balcony overlooking Passeig de Gracia. It's an appealing older building and the room was attractive. There is an original antique elevator which was super for getting bags up and down. Shower water pressure was great, and bathroom was nice. Staff were very professional and helpful. There was a super-convenient coffee shop where you can get a bite from 7am to midnight just around the corner.

I personally don't like foam toppers on mattresses; they make me hot. I also am not a fan of the foam pillows. The other bedding was nice, though.

We liked how the receptionist it was a man and he was very kind anything we asked he was willing to help about the hotel or any other information. Always smiley and serviceable. The second room he gave us was really worth it, it was calm spacious and clean

The first room we got was really small without a fridge and the neighbours were a group of school with many children that were constantly making noise. Luckily hotel offered another room in another building where it was comfortable and quiet

Free towels and housekeeping, nice Juliet balcony in the room, cool room layout and handy lockers with plenty of space for items per person

Very poor water pressure in the showers, elevators horribly slow to use, the check in experience was extremely terrible and disorderly. There was some 30 people waiting to check in and it wasn't done it order, so people who'd been waiting for an hour didn't get served first, it was very frustrating. The staff didn't apologise nor were very friendly or attentive about this, even when mentioned on check out.
