The location is great. It is located close to Diagonal metro station which is a central metro line for most tourist attractions. The area of Barcelona feels safe and has character. The hotel is beautiful both outside and inside. The service is true luxury. The room we stayed in was incredible (superior). Despite the one issue below, I would still recommend this hotel.

The only negative is that it was quite noisy as there was a temporary fairground for our whole 4 night stay outside the hotel that went on until 2am. This is not the hotel’s fault and was just unfortunate timing. However, the soundproofing of the balcony doors is terrible and allows a lot of noise in from the outside. Even when the fairground was not on during the day, we could hear traffic noise quite loudly. The benefit of having the balcony was negated by the amount of outside noise that came through the balcony doors when closed. We completed a survey online after our first day and mentioned the noise but no one from the hotel followed up our comments.

Our reservation was to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday and the staff couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was an unforgettable one. My wife loved the way that the she was made to feel special by the whole team, and the birthday touches in our room were hugely appreciated. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this hotel to anyone who is looking for faultless quality during their stay in Barcelona.

We couldn't fault this hotel, and the staff are amazing. It is just a shame that the on-site restaurant is closed on Sunday's and Monday's, but this is not unusual and a number of other local restaurants are the same. If you are looking for an alternative, then we would thoroughly recommend El Nacional, which has different areas within it each one offering different types of traditional food - all excellent. This should be a smily face icon buy the way!!

Great location. Nice rooms a bit dark but ok. Excellent bedding. Breakfast quite good but in underground floor. Downside: staff at reception. Not a 5 star service. When we wanted to make a reservation at the terrace we were told to go and do it ourselves. Not enough staff for a 5 star. Small rooftop, pool is mini so not usable. Terrace with lots of private events- guest are not priority

Staff at reception could do better

Location is excellent if you want to visit Eixample/Gracia/Zona Alta- not ideal for beach. The room is comfortable and a reasonable size. We had an issue with the electrics and had to swap rooms. The Reception sent us a bowl of fruit for the inconvenience - very nice gesture and much appreciated. Beautiful rooftop terrace.

We did not use the facilities, restaurant so not in a position to give feedback. Pool is very small.

A beautiful landmark building in a perfect location. Staff was helpful with good intentions.

Standard room size is on the smaller side of the spectrum. Our room was overlooking a backyard with a considerable amount of noise due to kids playground.

Rooftop terrace for cocktails with amazing views. Location. Key areas easy walking distance. The superior double room to which we were ultimately transferred and on which all my ratings are based.

This booking was made months in advance for a 2 night stay. We were allocated a dreary room which fell far short of internet photos, it’s ‘superior double’ category, or its 440 Euros p night price tag. Management were empathetic and helpful and did move us the next day to a same category room which was absolutely gorgeous and as envisaged. But it was disruptive for a 2 night stay and I just wish we had had the decent room from the start.

Great stay … just on the 1st morning the breakfast team was steuggling. It took us 3 attempts to eventually get 2 cappuchions … not what you expect in a 5* hotel .., There was not enough staff so the poor lady had to add water to the coffee machine and Samowar, help customers to make their coffee in self service and to serve other customers at their tables. I suggest: either you serve coffee at the tables or make it self service … this mix of both does not really work … unless you provide enough staff. In case you make it self service only, you need coffe machines that can make good capouchino, latte machiato, flat white, …

Omg I fell in love with this magnificent monumental hotel as soon as the taxi arrived it’s simply stunning from the warm and welcoming greeting as soon as we stepped out of the taxi staff are so supportive and friendly amazing quality everywhere the room was perfect so comfortable bed and pillows I just melted into as we flew from Australia 30 hours to place my tired head on these magnificent pillows was bliss, the decor of the hotel was superb the roof top bar and restaurant area stunning and the gym was compact however had all the necessary space that overlooked the social area stunning views of Barcelona the hotel was in an excellent position for shoppers and dining , I give Hotel Casa Fuster Barcelona 10 out of 10 perfecto. Thank you to all the staff you made our stay with you so memorable and I will always carry my experience and love for Barcelona in my heart. Thank you

It was stunning and beautiful Perfect in my eyes

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. I booked it VERY last minute (15 min before arrivel due to a problem with another hotel) and they still managed to provide everything perfectly. The rooftop is amazing. Will only stay there in Barcelona.

The location was great as it is in the heart of the city and all main attractions are in a walking distance. Most friendly staff I have encountered. Very spacious and luxurious room with everything you need.

The room was facing the back wall of another building, so the only view that I got was some bricks, which I don't care that much but just pointing it out. I don't know why but I expect 5 star hotels to have employees fluent in English but a lot of times it was difficult to get some points out due to the lower level of English.
