Great location, and really easy and accessible to commute to Gothic Quarter, the beaches and across the city centre. The hotel has free tea, coffee etc that one can access in the common area.

For the time we stayed, our room was close to the lift and we struggled to sleep. People coming in and out of the rooms/passages was noisy and the noise travelled. I really struggled to sleep. In the morning the cleaning staff start cleaning, and as the noise travels you can hear the cleaning by 6:30/7 am.

I LOVE Zoo Hotel, I booked the biggest room with a street view. Lovely balcony, beautiful tall doors and shutters. Absolutely amazing that they have a livingroom with free fresh coffee, tea, a filtered water system, cold water or ice cold. *bring a flask so you can fill it up to take out with you. Want to cycle? On the row the Picasso Hotel rents out cycles Zoo has another hotel around the corner offering breakfast, drinks and a great space to relax On that street is a local Spanish bar/tapas A supermarket that's really handy/fresh & reasonably priced Great location, the Zoo is two minutes away, around the corner is one of the best Seafood restaurants you'll ever eat at. Mainly locals...Great fresh food! Great size rooms, with a safe, hairdryers, clean crisp linen and high quality mattress Highly recommend

Excellent location in a central part of the city. The room was perfect for my needs, basic, clean and comfortable. A central self service coffee machine made good quality coffee. Chic&Basic is what I got, so fully met expectations.

Not within the control of the hotel, but just outside the hotel the colonnade attracts the homeless late at night. This caused no issues for us but it did cause some anxiety when I checked in the first night when arriving just before midnight.

Fantastic central accommodation in the gothic quarter of Barcelona. A quick walk into town or bus/metro to all major sites. There’s a communal fridge to keep food and unlimited coffee/cookies. The larger room is great for two people and the hotel is spotless!

It’s a bit hard to locate as the Zoo hotel’s check in is located at the Born location. This is being remedied by the hotel with better signage.

- small bedrooms with a small window looking over the bricks was a bit uncomfortable not having natural light coming in, felt a bit suffocated, but for 2 nights is ok. - if you’re traveling light is perfect, but with 2 big suitcases can be a little bit of a challenge work around the furniture. - can get quite noisy during the night, can hear everybody else in the apartaments coming. - checking in can be a challenge too as the check in is on the next street while the apartments on the other.

The staff were very helpful. The room was a good size. There are tea and coffee facilities but no milk. We had a small balcony which was nice. The maids cleaned the room well and the room was always spotless. The airconditioning was a welcome relief from the heat.

The address on booking.com is for the door you enter to get to your room but the recption is on another street around the corner. This should be the address on booking.com as it is very confusing. Luckily a neighboroughing business directed us to the reception. Providing milk for tea and coffee would be great.

the location was perfect park across the road which spent few hours in sunbathing if you don't wanna go beach. we liked everything about the property nothing not to like!

The main advantages are location of the hotel and low price. A comfortable bed. A good climate control. Enough space for our needs. Small gifts)

The reception desk is around the right corner of the building. A sink's position is quite high. Not enough daylight.

I love the welcome we recieved. The staff were warm and it was very pleasant. The location is amazing and our room had a balcony. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that breakfast was included and there is a coffee and tea area for guests. I am very happy we chose this hotel.

In the morning during breakfast, the woman who was working was quite rude. Not enough to ruin the stay but enough to make me notice.

The accommodation is situated in awesome place. There are a lot of nice places to eat and a beautiful park to walk. Also, the attention to details from the property is amazing. We’re mesmerized how a lot of small things make our staying comfortable and enjoyable in this place.
