Room was both comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. (They were, in fact above and beyond)

The rooms were nice and we had a good view of the main street and sunsets. Breakfast was tasty with enough choices. The front desk staff and breakfast staff were always very helpful and pleasant. Good clean gym area. Close to the main train station, beach, Gothic Quarter... just a really good location for everything.

The air conditioning took a while to cool the room and when really hot outside it's best not to open the windows/doors to the balcony if you don't want to wait a while for it to cool again.

It was the best combination for location to visit the city and to have fun also on the beach, everything is in the near. I had the best time with my daughter and the staff was so lovely and friendly. The hotel it’s placed in the a perfect place, the room are clean and dotted with all necessary. The breakfast was tasty and a lot of choices, and f you at 10 am you don’t need a lunch for sure!

Staff were very nice and helpful. Hotel is in very good location! Breakfast is good. All hotel is nice and clean. Room had balcony and it was pleasure got out in the evenings and mornings. I recommend this place for staying in Barcelona. Also very good idea to go to Barcelona! Such an amazing city, look for flamenco life music, Catalan food, and try Basque food, it really worths.

Floor under shower is slippery. I slipped and dropped my toothbrush and it doesnt work anymore. You are lucky I didn't broke my leg or hand.

The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff pleasant and helpful. The location of the hotel is very good, next to the train station, close to the main attractions of the city, 15 minutes walk to the beach

The only thing I can complain about are the monotonous breakfasts, they were tasty and the choice was quite a selection, but for 5 days exactly the same was served

this was my second time staying here. very convenient location. just minutes walk from the beach, 1 min walk from Estacio Franco and L4 Barcelonetta station. Picasso museum and Cuitadella park just a couple blocks away. the was always cleaned up without reminders, staff is very friendly and helpful. breakfast not included but only 10 euros per person with excellent choice of anything u can think of including champagne. ordered also room service food- super fresh and delicious. definitely my favorite hotel in Barcelona.

This is a nice, decent hotel in an exceptional location which really made our city break holiday much easier as all the important sights and nice restaurants were at walking distance or doable by very short and cheap taxi trips. Staff was very nice and polite, good breakfast.

Check in was very late, around 15.30 (but check out is also late, around 12). Staff was helpful though and kept our luggage safe in a storage room while we explored the city.

The location is excellent.. Great value. Walking distance to the beautiful Gothic Quarter as well as the Barceloneta Beach. Easy access to a metro station and buses as well as frequent taxis because of the train station.

I liked everything. I can definitely agree with some other reviewers that this is by no means a 4 star hotel in terms of luxury and amenities. Bur for the price I think that's too much to ask. The place and the staff are absolutely great.

Excellent location, El Born good area, small rooms but clean, very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast for 10 euros

Small TV for North American standard (not so important) but BBC news were the only program on English. Not such a big deal because nobody is coming there to watch TV in the room.

Good location, very close to the metro station as well as some good food. Nice room with two balconies which we really enjoyed. All the staffs are very nice and kind. The gym is super small and reservation is needed for just using it, but considering the location and probably very old building, can’t blame too much about it
