Location was great, and the room was really quiet despite being so close to the center. Location was great as well, in walking distance from shops, food and the beach, and easy to get to with metro. I had no problem sleeping and the room was beautiful and comfortable. Rooftop was gorgeous. Shower was huge and great. Cleaning staff was nice and super polite and did a great job.

The only thing I would say is that I could hear my neighbors talking very clearly, when they were standing close to the wall (in their bathroom), so maybe request a room where bathrooms don’t face each other if you are sound sensitive. Also because the street is super close to the center it can be a bit sketchy to go home alone at night. And the “pool” on the rooftop is only about 40 cm deep. It was wonderful for a winter day but don’t expect to go swimming!

Location is a short walk up the street to the Las Ramblas area which has lots of restaurants, supermarkets & shopping. It's our favorite area to stay in when we go to Barcelona. Our room was big & the bathroom was big as well. We had a step over bath to have a shower which was a bit annoying but it's an old hotel so it's to be expected. We felt safe walking around at night. The rooftop bar was a nice area to sit & have a drink at night with great views. There is even a small pool on the roof as well. We stayed for 2 nights before boarding a cruise ship.

It's an old hotel & the rooms are not really soundproof. You can literally hear the people talking next door especially when someone is having a shower. Trust me you hear everything so be careful what you do in your room as they can hear you as well. You hear all of doors closing down the hallway so if you go to bed early & you have someone on your floor come in later you will definitely hear them. Again, it's an older hotel & the value is pretty good so as they say, you get what you pay for.

Location is amazing, right across the street where all great cafes and restaurants are located. Also, super close to the super nice market, where you can enjoy all sorts of jamon and fruits. Metro station is also near. But the most amazing about this hotel is the terrace and the fact that you can see the roof of one of the Gaudi buildings from your room.

Breakfast was not really diverse, but probably fine for 3* hotel.

The room was simple, but it met my requirements, which included a warm room with a cozy bed. I loved the location and the Palace Guell view. You can access La Rambla, the Gothic Quarter, multiple restaurants, and Metro stations from the hotel.

I didn't love the breakfast; it was simple/continental/American. I would've enjoyed more Spanish options.

it’s something the hotel cannot control but because of its location, can be noisy outside in the small hours as revealers disperse which occurred most nights of out four night stay, but wouldn’t stop me staying there again.

Great stay. It is in a great location near La Rambla and plenty of places to eat and drink. Near the Liceu metro station. Elevator on property. Amazing roof with view of the Guell Palace Roof. Good wifi. Luggage storage for free at the parking garage next to the hotel.

Loved having a little balcony to sit on (in the standard room). Being at the back of the building was nice and shaded first thing in the morning. The roof top bar / sitting area with the small plunge pool was definitely a bonus after a days sightseeing, just enough to dip your tired feet and having the view of Palau Guell rooftop! If you want to stay just off La Rambla it is very convenient, a minutes walk and very quiet.

The chairs on the balcony could do with being replaced (and clean), we ended up using the hand towels from the bathroom to put on them ensure we didn't get dirty. Just a British thing I assume, but having to hire a kettle is a pain!

Sadly we were targeted by thieves and robbed of all our documents and valuables while driving to the Hotel from the Port .The Receptionists went out of their way to be supportive and truly helpful in assisting us to solve our problems of damaged tyre and loss of passports .The car park was excellent and worth the 20 Euro’s a day .The location is good to access all parts of the city

Guests need to be warned that tourists are a target for crime and to be sensible with phones and valuables etc when you are out and about

Our stay exceeded our expectations. The hotel was located very centrally, we could walk to and from lovely restaurants and the tourist bus route. The roof top bar was such a bonus. To be able to have a drink at the end of the day with amazing views and no walk back, perfect. We'll book again the next time we're visiting Barcelona. We had a fifth floor room with a balcony and fantastic views. We could see our Cruise ship in the port on the morning we departed.

The only criticism was the wardrobe. Very small and only suitable for hanging shirts and shorts. Thankfully my dresses didn't crease.

Location is amazing: very close to La Rambla and several metro stations making it incredibly easy to navigate the city and see all the sites. I realised (too late) that it is literally opposite Guell Palace (one of Gaudi's famous works) and that it is possible to get a lovely view of this from the hotel's terrace (I regret not checking this out). Rooms were clean and shower was great

I can't imagine what this hotel would be like in the peak season but sound travels well. I could hear a crying baby from (I assume) down the corridor and housekeeping moving around in the mornings
