Staff were very helpful and friendly. The reception is clean and modern with some interesting design aspects. The room was spacious. There is a pool and terrace, but we didn't get a chance to use it.

The room was not very light, but that was not an issue as we were not there during the day. Breakfast options were ok, but if you wanted cooked food, they were dry and a bit boring. Very few options if you do not eat meat/eggs/dairy. Mushrooms and toast was really the only option other than fruit. This didn't impact our stay, l mention it here so the hotel can maybe consider some alternatives.

Our stay at Hotel Concordia was really great value for money. The location is really central and convenient for different transport options on and around the city, though mostly we walked. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we were really happy to have a bathtub. Only paper cups were provided with the tea and coffee in the room but when we asked staff for cups we were allowed to take some china from the restaurant for the duration of our stay. There were plenty of amenities - robes, slippers, sewing kit etc. The pool and gym area looked good; I only had a quick dip in the little pool (unheated and it was winter) and I wish I had realised there was a sauna in the area at the time!

There was a small couch/single fold out bed in the room. It would have been nice to have a larger couch for two to sit comfortably. The sound does carry up from the busy street (we were on the highest floor, 7, facing the Paral-lel); it didn't bother us much but something to consider for light sleepers.

I would like to especially comment on the helpfulness of the staff. I was travelling alone for a music festival and they made me feel that I was staying in a very safe and comfortable hotel. They offered advice throughout on best modes of transport to and from tourist spots as well as the festival itself, and it really made my trip.

My room could have done with a bit of TLC. The headboard which was supposed to be attached to the wall was loose and I was worried the whole time I might break it off. This was a minor thing in an otherwise very spacious and beautifully laid out comfortable modern room.

This is an excellent hotel. It is modern, airey and very clean. It is very easy to find and is exactly opposite Poble Sec Metro station, literally fifty paces across the road (Carrer del Parlament exit, not Manso). There is a Metro line from both the airport and Sants railway station so if you can find your way around the London Tube you will have no problem. But be warned, whilst there are lifts and escalators, you will need to negotiate steps and be able to walk at least 200 yards so if you have any mobility issues you may wish to consider alternative modes of transport. The Barcelona Metro must be one of the cheapest as for £14.50 ( at our current Euro/GBP exchange rate) you can buy a 48 hour pass, from a machine located at every station, which covers unlimited journeys on the Metro, trams and buses, superb value for money. I accept that it sounds a bit snobbish but we consider ourselves travellers, not tourists, as we don't need anyone to plan our itinerary or hold our hands to get round but not everyone is like us. The hotel has a small pool, more for dipping and lounging than for swimming, with a poolside cocktail bar which is very nice on a hot day. It is also within easy walking distance of Montjuic Park and the port but you can also take the Metro to Paral-Lel and then the funicular railway (included in the Metro ticket) if you can't be bothered to walk. There are lots of little cafes and bars in the vicinity of the hotel, especially on Carrer del Parlament which is a cool tree-lined street across from the hotel.

Unfortunately the hotel WiFi appeared to be a bit unstable although there may have been a service outage as it appeared to settle down later on in our stay but it didn't like my laptop at all. The wife's tablet appeared to be happier and our Android phones seemed to cope so perhaps it was just my laptop. The breakfast arrangements were a little strange. You cannot pay in advance as there are three levels of serve yourself breakfast, but once you have given your order all the food is just laid in out in front of you and nobody seemed to care how much you helped yourself to, so may be you should just pay for the cheapest selection then take what you want. A very strange way of doing breakfast, never seen it done like that before.

I recently stayed at HOTEL CONCORDIA BARCELONA and it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was spacious and comfortable, cozy and clean. The amenities were top-notch, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The front desk staff Cristine, Ludovic, Carlos and two other ladies are so nice to us and helped us with many things during our stay. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of food and drinks from 7am to 11am everyday. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Five stars for customer service.

Very good position on the Paral-lel Avenue. Reception staff very kind, attentive and helpful, with lots of suggestions on how to reach different objectives in the city. Good breakfast and quiet, select lobby and breakfast area. The room is comfortable enough for a few days Barcelona visit.

Staff = zero ! Some staff lady knocking - I ask for 1 minute - response "Mio Culo" and went away. 2 minutes later huge noise from the lobby, quarreling staff ladies making a huge noise. Paper glasses in the room... not fitted for 4 star hotel

The proximity of the hotel was within walking distance to The Ramblas, Barceloneta, Plaza Catalunya and Plaza Espana. There is is a metro right opposite the hotel, so easy to navigate to and from the airport, it takes approx 1 hour (you have to change at the University stop). The hotel is clean and well maintained and staff were pleasant and helpful.There is luggage storage available if you have a late flight and the lobby has a set of scales, if you are concerned your shopping may have pushed the weight limit set by the airline. If you are not breakfasting in the hotel there a grwat cafe directly opposite called migos and there are also plenty of bakeries in the vicinity and a 24 supermarket for late night purchases.

We visited the hotel in December and the temperature inside the hotel was a little too warm for my comfort, especially in our bathroom, which couldn't be adjusted. Thankfully the bedroom itself had it's own control panel. Those who are light sleepers may be disturbed bh the rumblings of the underground metro nearby.

The hotel is nice and clean. The staff very kind and the location is very pleasant. The nearby metro station is a great advantage to reach every place of the city in short time.

Evaluating the overall stay very positive I was a little disappointed with the insulation of the room,s door. Luckily the neighbors were polite. To be consider an improvement when will be time to make some renovations.

Strong Air Condition, good food for Breakfast. The rooms are modern and Clean. The staff is very nice. They offer additional service, which I didn't need, but if you do, it's there.

Breakfast was generally very good, but the Coffee options with milk could have been better. I don't know, what kind of milk they are using in the machine, but it is not what you get in coffee shops. It was ok, but not great.
