The hotel looks great. It's right next to a plaza and has a coffee shop across the street and a pizzeria at the end of the block. The room had a queen size bed and a balcony which was great for people watching. The morning employee was amazing with helpful tips and went out of his way to give us free breakfast for the issue with our AC. They provide twin mattresses if you have children with you.

When we got there we turned on the AC because it was 102°. The AC started leaking all over the floor and we couldn't have it serviced until the next day because they don't keep maintenance on call. So we avoided breaking our necks by placing a ton of towels on the floor to keep it from becoming a pool inside our room. Some staff members could probably go back to training on being a bit more professional and helpful with the guests.

We booked this place last minute as our flight home was cancelled and we had a horrible experience the night before relying on the airline to book hotels. So we decided to go into Barcelona and book a last minute deal ourselves. We got an AMAZING deal in the suite on the top floor with a private roof top patio. Room was very cool. A more masculine/dark feel to it which was fine for us (two men) the patio was huge on the roof top. Over all couldn't have asked for a better spot for our bonus two nights in Spain.

Liked it all. A few things to maybe consider though. Air conditioner worked well but took me some time to figure out how it worked. Maybe update that unit. And this is strictly preference but the roof top had a tall privacy railing/fence which made it almost impossible to see the surrounding area. However the privacy was nice too. So if you want a stunning view it’s not that but if you want a cool private rooftop deck to sunbath or hang out. It’s perfect.

the staff were very friendly towards me and my friends, whenever we had a question, the person at the reception always helped us out and made the stay very easy and worthwhile for us. the rooms were a perfect size with a large bathroom and there were plenty of places to store our storage. the restaurant served both amazing food and was served by very friendly and helpful waiters. this was my first ever holiday with my friends and hotel market made sure it was not one to forget, thank you so much for having me :)

I liked everything about the property

Good property for a family stay. Hotel has a great staff. We had two rooms and one room AC was not working properly. Staff upgraded us to a bigger room. We reached there late at night and we asked for a microwave and we were introduced to restaurant kitchen staff. Kitchen staff was amazingly helpful, they heated our food and let us eat it in the restaurant. I would like to thank the head chef of the restaurant. I would highly recommend this Hotel, it has amazing views from the 7th floor patio.

Great location with easy access to the main attractions, bars, cafes and restaurants. Excellent good value for money restaurant down stairs making breakfast and dinners an easy choice if you are too exhausted after a day doing tourist things to go out. Barcelona's attractions are very spread out, so no matter where you are based, you will either do a lot of walking or commuting. We did both, with the Metro, 200m from the door and the airport bus 700m away. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Being early risers, we would have liked to have coffee making facilities (kettle, bar fridge) in the room.

The location is alright, about 10 minutes by taxi. There are some shops and restaurants nearby, making this hotel convenient. The staff could speak both Spanish and English fluently.

There were not any signs/tent cards in the breakfast. sometimes, guests need to guess what are the ingredients. Besides, it is strange that the city tax was not included in the room rate like other cities in Spain. I suggest this hotel follow suit to save time for checking in.

Breakfast was really nice and great for the price although could benefit from more hot food options

Rooms didnt lacked insulation and so could hear and be heard quiet easily. I think I even heard my neighnour breathing at one point! Jokes aside, there was a point where a noisy neighbour was coming back late at night from being out with friends at 2am in the morning and with the lack of noise insulation rocked us out of our sleep. But otherwise was an excellent stay overall

The location was excellent, in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds with great restaurants and cafes. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and very comfortable. This made our stay in Barcelona so wonderful! Our room had a cute terrace overlooking the neighborhood.

The evening receptionist (blond guy): Not that kind, and impatient during check-in, unfortunately.

We were fortunate to be upgraded to one of the suites as we had booked full board. The room was huge and we had an outside terrace. We had our flight cancelled and needed a hotel for 3 nights, we arrived 1 hour after booking. TBH we just booked a hotel that had the availability but were pleasantly surprised on arrival. There is a shabby chic feel to the hotel that has some interesting decor influences. If you stay here, be sure to find the old metal cage lift (elevator) that is a joy to look at and still works. The staff were all friendly and were very tolerant at my attempts to practice my Spanish. The breakfast was a good continental offering but there were only scrambled eggs and bacon for the hot option. Toast, pastries and fresh fruit were great. The location is roughly 15 minutes from La Rambla and only a couple of minutes from a metro stop. Its the same metro line to get to Sagrada Familia (15 mins on the metro) The market at the end of the block is amazing but be careful to ensure you sight a landmark as the Market building is completely symetrical so easy to get disorientated. We walked to the Maritime Museum in approx 20mins. There are plenty of local bars and restaurants locally and little supermarkets for snacks and drinks. We liked the location.

The lunch menu is the same as the evening menu. This meant that we had almost exhausted the menu in our 3 day stay. The emphasis was sometimes on the shabby rather than the chic. The restaurant tables were a bit wobbly and the bench seating was stained in places. (not the end of the world) Ordinarily we would go out to eat but this was an unplanned stop-over so we went for the easy option. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear others in their rooms. This is just as much the responsibility of the other guests to be considerate as it is the hotel to ensure better sound-proofing.
