I often come to this place during off season because is extremely chilled, clean and offers facilities unparalleled in the city. Surrounded by nature, it offers plenty of space, great kitchen, amazing showers, huge dormitories, comfortable beds.

The personnel has always been great, however, during my last stay there was a pretty rude guy at the reception who was unhelpful and misleading. Working in hospitality requires a genuine passion towards guests satisfaction that seems completely absent in this guy. He'd better change business in my opinion.

Place was clean, good location outside of Barcelona, but just 20 min. by metro, staff was super nice & helpful, meals provided were not bad.

Would have been nice if they allowed people to write in the system all the meals they consume and then pay at the end- it was a bit of a hassle & inconvenient to have to pay every single meal, especially for people staying longer stays (I stayed 6 nights).

The staff are super lovely and so is the location, which is within a natural park. If you want peace and quiet outwith the city, with food at a fraction of the price of the city and only 20 mins away on a frequent and easily accessible train, then this is the place for you :) xx You should also know that this hostel is one of few rare businesses that operate with a social mission instead of just for profit so if you want your money to do more for the local community of Barcelona then you should book here :)

If you are extending your stay then you should let the staff know that you want to keep the same bed :) Otherwise they might wake you up to ask!! 🥰 Be assured that anything you ask will never be too much trouble xx ps...you won't find a cheaper accomodation that is as good value in Barcelona so don't be put off by the distance from the city!!

The facility is in the middle of nature, which makes it great to hang out outside to chat with friends or relax with a book if you like peaceful environments. There is a subway station about 5 minutes away from the hostel which can take you to downtown in roughly 15 minutes. The rooms were very large and not crowed at all, one of the most spacious hostel I've been to. Quality/Price is excellent for what you get.

There is quite a steep climb to get to the hostel by foot, to keep in mind for people with physical issues, age, and those who've had a lot to drink. Staffs are nice and understanding but have limited English skills. It is in the middle of nowhere so plan accordingly, you'll need to go downtown if you want to buy anything as there are very little shops around.

Fresh air. The tap water is drinkable and unexpectedly good. Long beds. The metro station is near, 700 meters walk.

The doors are extremely inconvenient, noisy and irritating. Their noise will influence your sleep. You must be physically fit to get to this place, because it is located on the mountain.

Great team, well managed. They do their job very well. It's nice, pleasant, clean, economical. Good available breakfasts in good price. Healthy park environment. The advantage is the wooden beds - they are more stable and quieter than in other facilities (steel). Wooden ones are more comfortable and give more privacy. There is a new vending machine where you can leave your things for up to 5 hours while you wait for your return, beautiful new flowers. By helping these young people here, you are also helping yourself. Remember this is not a hotel.

The place was clearly sign-posted which made the walk up the hill easier at the late hour of arrival. A friendly face greeted us upon check-in and the fact that reception is manned 24h was most reassuring when we got to the locked gate at 9:30pm - which then opened as promised (sigh of relief). Check-in was simple and straightforward and we didn't even need to pay for the bedding and towels they provided for us. Love the social and ecofriendly attitude of the place, an NGO employing many adults with special needs. Thumbs up for a very clean, comfortable, simple accomodation with a great view. Easy to reach with public transport from city centre of Barcelona (20mins train ride with a normal Metro ticket). We didn't get around to using all the facilities like swimming pool, kitchen and restaurant but look forward to coming back upon our next visit to Barcelona. Highly recommended!

For some reason we were given sheets but no duvet - so got a bit chilly in the night. But guessing that during summer time there'd be absolutely no need for a duvet as the place has a large glass front and probably heats up well.

The staff was friendly and it is super clean. Awesome pool. Very clean. Nice terrace

Very far away from everything else

Really beautiful area, very clean and organised. Nice spacious rooms. Staff were lovely!

10 min walk up a steep hill, quite difficult with luggage. If you’re planning to be in the centre of Barcelona throughout the days or want to go out at night don’t book this place. It’s 30 mins from the centre so it’s quite in convenient and the last train comes around midnight and there’s no train back to the hostel until around 5-6am. I gave this hostel a good score as it was a really nice hostel and I was in the wrong for not researching the area properly. Stay here if you want to relax and enjoy the Barcelona jungle though!!

Spacious lockers, there is individual lighting, there is a socket next to each bed, and a huge bonus is that there is an on-site swimming pool with sun loungers. True, it works from 10 to 20:30, of course I would like it to open earlier. It is possible to order an inexpensive and tasty breakfast for 5 euros. The surroundings are very beautiful and picturesque. There is a metro station nearby. In general, for such money a great option!

Far from the center and from the sea, but this is fully compensated by the fact that the hostel is very comfortable, there are many additional pleasant things like a pool, a breakfast veranda and a stunning view around
