the most comfortable hotel I have ever lived.

I strongly recommend this hotel. only 2 problems. 1. the window can fully open in my room which is quite dangerous for children. but hotel solved this problem fast. 2. One night, the ceiling light can’t shut off after I tried every button. it kept on even I take away keys. The repairman arrived 5 mins after I called room service. it is acceptable for me.

Hotel was very nice, room was spacious, large bathroom, friendly staff. Surprisingly , the pizza in the restaurant was top notch. The neighborhood is cute, half a block to Diagonal. You can taxi to downtown, Tibidabo, and Barcelonetta for 10-15eu. Our room overlooked the front entrance/ park, and it was very noisy throughout the night. So if that’s a thing for you, request a room away from the front. Also, the elevators to the rooms are really close to the front doors and there is no security check or requirement to present your room key so anyone can walk in and access the elevator. I would recommend the hotel look into upgrading the elevator security.

Location was ideal. Breakfast amazing, freshly cooked customised omelette, really lovely staff.

Big room but wardrobe layout tricky. Drawer area inside bathroom so two people trying to get ready and use bathroom at same time a bit of a dance. Beds fixed in position so can't seperate them to give a bit of space in-between. Beds are comfortable.

wifi in my room wasn’t working well

was clean, staff were friendly, food was excellent. faultless bedroom. restaurant downstairs was excellent. felt like an authentic Italian restaurant where the staff were incredible. Hector deserves a pay rise, so kind and so funny.

we did not expect the extra charges for use of the pool and sauna. €20 per person for one hour in a small indoor pool is ridiculous. for a five star these little luxury’s should not cost extra. I’d understand perhaps booking a slot for the pool for free as to avoid over crowding but not with a €20 cost per person.

- Very nice and helpful staff. - Everything was clean and well maintained. - Nice view from the window. - Delicious breakfast. - Good bar/restaurant.

- Poor value for money. We visited during exhibition days and prices were almost doubled compared to ordinary days. That's a bit overkill :) - Bathroom is massive (which is good), but it takes up half of the room space (which is bad). - Location is a bit far from everything. Not walkable distance, so have to take transport. - Breakfast main course can use more variety. The main courses were the same every day with very few changes, which was a bit annoying in the end.
