Location is great, walking distance from pretty much everything. The staff is very friendly and the rooms very clean. I would definitely recommend it

Rooms are quite small but enough for a weekend stay. The shower is see-through which might or not be an issue. The swimming pool is 40 cm deep which is not clear from the pics or the description. You can hear the underground noise during the night, otherwise it's nicely insulated.

The location was great, walking distance from some main attractions, but not in the hustle and bustle of the loud nightlife. Nightlife areas very easily reachable still by either 20mins walk or a short & cheap taxi ride. Add on breakfast was really good, they have thought of everything someone might want in the morning. From the obvious stuff such as bacon/sausages or cereal, to Champagne or sweet treats. Well worth the upgrade. Staff were great and very helpful. Facilities are all great and look nice. Rooftop pool area was a great area too.

Only minor issue for me was that the pool bar didn’t serve until 5pm as it would really be a great spot to chill and have drinks in the sun during the day.

we paid 209 euros for 1 night stay. we checked in early at around 10am’ish after we got off cruise. the front desk lady was super friendly and had a great smile. we got upgraded to a deluxe room with terrace overlooking the street, nice view. room has very high ceilings, lots of natural light when you open blinds. bed was large and comfy the breakfast had honeycomb which was a nice surprise. they also had iberian ham, fruits and a decent variety of cold+hot foods. location was near shopping streets+ sagrada familia. we would stay here again

Room 616 (top floor) had a small window, while other floors even had a good balcony. The sink is in the room, not inside the washroom. This is the first time I've seen that. The shower doors were see-through and not comfortable if you were sharing a room with your adult kids. No hooks to hang towels. Cleaners don't speak English. We told her to not clean the room but replace the drinking glasses, but that was not done. Please give at least free water bottles. It was not nice to carry 6 x 2-litre bottles from the nearby corner shops.

Amazing hotel in perfect location, just a few minutes walking from Sagrada Familia, close to metro station. Spacious room equipped with all you need (steam iron, hair dryer, shower gel), perfect for couple (I would say not for friends as shower and toilet are separated from the room with a glass wall only), very comfortable bed, wi-fi, beautifully decorated lobby, tasty buffet style breakfast.

The hotel staff were all very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The hotel rooms are small but perfect for a short stay. There is very little space for hanging clothes, but it wasn't the end of the world. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed (two singles pushed together) was so comfortable. The hotel is situated about a 40-minute walk from the port, but there is a metro line very close by that will bring you right in there in about 5 minutes. The pool and rooftop bar were closed which was a bit dissapointing, but we were so busy enjoying beautiful Barcelona it didn't really affect us.

Once in a while you feel the faint rumbling of the subway - but honestly it was no big deal- didnt bother us at all.

With the open plan design of the bedroom and "bathroom" there is no sound/light proofing. So if you need to go in the middle of the night, you'll definitely wake up the other half. Also there's a lack of shelving in the shower.

The location is excellent, very convenient, many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, all the visit sites are in walk distance, Casa Mila is several minutes away, and the hop on hop off bus stop is there.

The washroom is big enough, but there is no shower curtain or door separate the shower with the toilet, so the floor is wet after showering. There is no closet, no space to hang the clothes.

My sister-in-law booked us into Occidental Diagonal 414 after finding the hotel on Booking.com. The rate was amazing and it seemed to be a great deal - and it was! Staying for 5 nights, we were given a room with an amazing view of Casa de les Punxes, a lovely historical building opposite the hotel. The hotel is one block from the Verdagues metro station and a 15 minute walk (or one tube stop) from La Sagrada Familia. It's easy to walk to La Pedrera and Casa Batllo from the hotel and there are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. The rooms are compact but comfortable and cleverly laid out. Shower was fantastic - great water pressure and temperature regulation. Rooftop bar is a great place to chill, with a beautiful view and lovely ambiance.
