The place is very charming, in an old building. Big bed, good shower. The size of the room is also very decent and you have enough space. Has AC which helps with the heat, also a mini fridge. Downstairs you have coffee and in the morning you get some pastries which is a nice touch. The staff is super helpful, and always there to assist. Great customer service! They also offer free shuttles to the beaches, just make sure to book with reception first. You also get maps, and schedules of buses and basically everything you need to know about Begur and the area from reception. Honestly the staff made a big difference in this hotel. They also helped us book a taxi back to the airport. Everyone went about and beyond. I'd stay here again for sure!!

There were two things which could be improved: the AC is very loud so not great as you can hear it all night and the mini fridge in the room doesn't keep things cold at all. I'd say these appliances can be easily upgraded. And just two more suggestions. I'd seen people eating lunch/breakfast in the courtyard so maybe consider offering some cutlery where you have the coffee station and also maybe some fruits instead of only pastries for breakfast? Just as a recommendation as some people might have allergies etc

The staff was great and very helpful. The breakfast it’s really good for the value. The location is fantastic, close enough to the main restaurants and shops but also quiet in the night. The great benefit of staying at the hotel are the transfers to the beach, the drivers goes beyond to help find the best spots.

We weren’t lucky enough to get a double bed as it is upon ability when you do the check in. Even though the two beds put together was good, you can still feel the division. If you looking to have some privacy while taking a shower, this room is not the best choice for you.

Very nice breakfast room and very nice breakfast too. Service was excellent. Nice room in a nice small hotel.

Reception was open until only 8pm. Luckily we arrived before that time.

Breakfast was good - had all the basics (yogurt, fruit, bread, cheese, ham), coffee and tea. The room was quite big with twin beds (which we asked for), an other space with little table and wardrobe, a patio, and a good sized bathroom. Location was fantastic for walking around the town - so easy to go to dinner and have a few drinks and walk back to room. The hotel had a shuttle that dropped us off at the beach which was very nice. They picked up too, but could only hold 6 people at a time so one group had to wait until the shuttle made a round trip back. They organised a picnic lunch for us upon request (we went kayaking one day) with an extra charge of Euro15/pp. One of the staff did make a reservation at their sister restaurant on the last night as we couldn't find a place in Begur to eat. We needed to drive there even though only 3 min away as it's down a long hilll with no walking path.

We were told we didn't need to reserve for dinner which was a mistake. During high season you definately need to book a place for dinner in Begur.

It was hard not to fall in love with Begur. The Hotel Hanoi made it more perfect. Very spacious room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Loves the complimentary coffee machine. The terrace is great to relax and the staff is super kind.

Loads of character and history, great location, high ceilings, gorgeous view, lovely common areas, friendly, helpful staff.

The A/C was fixed at 26 C, much too warm for July. There was only one extra outlet in the room, and there wasn't an in room safe. Too many stairs for some people.

It's small hostel near the city town centre, perfect to walk into town without the evening noise of the nightlife. It was very comfortable, we stayed in one of the family rooms and it was very spacious, the kids loved the double deck. Breakfast was tasty and a plenty.

It's a shame, although understandable as it's an old house, that there's no elevator - walking up the 3 tall flights of stairs was a bit hard for my mum, who's knees are no longer the same. But bad on me for not checking. Won't lie the name nearly threw me off booking the place, which would have been a shame as it's a nice little B&B, but I just don't think it suits the town and the area, or that it does justice to the old home it inhabits. Shame they don't have parking, although a paid per day parking is available not far from the hotel.

Check-in and reception was at a different location, two streets away from our hotel. The hotel is very nice and quiet, with an inner terrace. Centrally located it's a few minutes walk to the center where all the restaurants are.

This is a great hotel with a lot of charm. The views of the town and distant mountains are lovely. The breakfast is very good, it’s quite simple but perfect start to the day. Great bread, lovely cheese and meat, tasty pastry’s. Extremely good orange juice and coffee. Fresh fruit. The breakfast staff are very lovely. Check in is at a different hotel but it was exceptional. Simone could not have been better. She gave us restaurant recommendations and every one was out of this world. Do ask her for advice as she knows Begur back to front and is a great resource for planning a perfect stay!

The only niggle is that whilst you know it’s a period / character property I didn’t like the fact the shower and basin are in the room and not partitioned off. Not great for privacy, and there was a drains smell in the room.

Excellent location, excellent decoration, excellent staff. We loved our short stay and definitely would come back. It even had a transfer that brings you to the beaches included (only for summer months I think)

It didn't have enough plugs, only one in the bathroom. But it didn't matter to us. Everything was perfect!
