Breakfast included eggs & bacon- which I enjoyed. Also, pastries, toast, coffee and fresh OJ Ana, who handles the weekend breakfast service, was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgable about the city The hotel used to be an old merchant's home, and still has an original tower, with a roof terrace. It is centrally located, and usually a 10-15 min walk to many attractions. I highly recommend going to Caleta Beach to see the sunset! Staff was very good to me and my dog- we both enjoyed our stay

Parking is non existent in this area, especially during holy-week, and I paid a steep price to park overnight for the weekend at one of the garages

The location was excellent. The staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the shower! Our room was beautifully decorated, and we enjoyed breakfast in the indoor terrace area. Not much selection. However, it was okay to start the day. The lady looking after the breakfast area worked really hard. This did not go unnoticed.. so thank you.

We booked a balcony room expecting the view to be as it was in the hotel images, overlooking the cathedral dome. However, it did not. It overlooked an uninteresting street. It was not an open balcony. It was one a bit more like a lean too with double glazing. The beds were not comfy and squeaked terribly. We spoke to hotel and they advised all beds were the same.

The location was fabulous; right in the heart of Cadiz old town near the Cathedral and within easy walking of the railway station, beach, shops, bars and restaurants. The old, traditional building has been sensitively restored and the rooms were clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our 5 night stay. There are wonderful views over the city from the roof terrace and as we were staying on the top floor we had amazing views from all our windows! The staff were excellent; very helpful and friendly. We can't wait for our next trip!

The hotel is very well located in the city center of Cadiz. Close to main places like Cathedral and Plaza de Candelaria. The architecture of the hotel is quite nice, an old refurbished historical building. The staff was very polite and helpful. The beds are comfortable.

When I arrived to the room, I discovered that it was not well cleaned. Many hair were on the floor in the room, bathroom and balcony. I think those were from a previous client. I was somehow upset and informed the reception. The hotel responsible at the reception was very polite, she apologized and took quick action to tidy up the room. So the problem was solved thanks to the staff's effort. I had the impression that some fixed furniture (specially at the bathroom) were becoming used and older. So a need to renew them may become important in short or mid terms.

Perfect location in the city centre, minutes walk to the cathedral, market, beaches (even train station). Hotel in a small narrow (no traffic) street. Excellent, very friendly welcome (Lucia) and all other staff. Very nice atmosphere, feels more like a private place than a hotel. Please note that further comments are based on our (a middle aged couple) stay in a three bed large room with an external balcony. I presume there are many rooms with windows facing internal courtyard. Our room was more expensive but very much worth the upgrade: spacious, with a very good bathroom with fantastic power shower, very good quiet AC. However, occassionally during the night there was some noise from the street (motorcycles, deliveries etc) Plenty of places to see and eat in town, wonderful atmosphere and natural ambience in the whole city, lovely beaches, brilliant people - we could go back there tomorrow! Professional, friendly taxi drivers (with with clear tariff) should also be mentioned.

Breakfast could be more inspired - we found it rather basic, however it was sufficient. Otherwise no problems really, except that I ended up paying more than Booking.com promissed me with my bonus - but this is (I presume) Booking.com web site issue - nothing to do with the hotel.

the place was super clean the stuff was very polite and helpful breakfast was good location is excellent modern room with AC would book it anytime again for 2 nights we could get into the room before official check in time special wishes were no problem in the hotel close to Bus and renfe and also to evethying else

we saw that some of the rooms had no daylight so you should book a room with a balcony if you want to stay longer as a couple room can be a bit small after a while maybe

The staff were good to deal with the location where we ate our breakfast was very appropriate the bedroom was comfortable and the shower was excellent, especially after a day seeing Cadiz

We made a bad decision driving up to the front door of the hotel ( not allowed) but felt there was no clear instruction as to the fact that the street was pedestrianised and not for cars. Perhaps more of our mistake, and should not have relied on sat nav.

Lovely old building, nicely renovated. Rooms are large enough, super clean and beds are super comfortable. The staff was extremely kind.

It's a shame that such a beautiful building is decorated with a plastic tree in the patio. Local plants would be lovely in there. The breakfast area is located in the central patio. The sounds go up to the rooms multiplied. Also, the nespresso coffee machine is placed in the same patio and it is super noisy. The management should find a way to avoid waking up guests so early with the noise. The lightning in the patio is too strong all night. It made it difficult to sleep in the room.

Location was great. Less than 5 mins to cathedral and market. About 15 to beach. Hotel building: Quiet pedestrianised street. 24 hour reception. Lift. Some rooms with balcony face street, most others open into the atrium, with a courtyard at the bottom where breakfast is served. It all looks newly refurbished and very clean. Room: Bed very comfortable. Good quality sheets. Initially problem with air-con, but quickly sorted out by staff. Bathroom stylish and choice of overhead or wall attached shower, which was powerful.

Minor things, would not stop me returning. Sound insulation between floors could be better and some may want more privacy in bathroom as only frosted glass door which did not reach ceiling between bathroom and bedroom

Everything was excellent : friendly staff, good location, nice breakfast, clean property, modern installations although it’s an old historic palace of a sort. I’ll come back but would try to have a room with a balcony, as it’s limited to some rooms.

They could have done a better job with noise isolation. I had loud neighbors that I could hear talking and walking and even one night, there was loud music coming from one of the rooms. The friendly staff tried to find the source but could not locate it... I guess the hotel being an old house, there’s not much that can be done !
