We were there for 11 nights with two small children. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Being the start of the season everything was very quiet and the outdoor pools were too cold to use. That didnt bother us. The area around the pool is really lovely and its kept very clean. It was warm enought to relax on the loungers and we had mostly full sun and blue skies. The indoor pool was open but we were there to explore and experience the sights of the island. We felt the pool was a little cool, especially for our one year old. Breakfast was very plentiful - lots for every taste. It was a perfect start to the day before we went exploring. The restaurant has lots of high chairs for the little ones and very attentive and patient staff to clean up the mess afterwards! The Evening buffet is varied almost every night and had a nice selection of fresh cooked meats, stir fry, seafood, salads and other vegetarian options. We found the first few nights the cooked food was not very warm, but as the week went on was no longer an issue - once again, it was the start of the season and not so many people so we undertand. We have heard some people complaing about kids, but its a family hotel! There is even a separate restaurant upstairs for adults and also a rooftop bar with loungers and jacuzzi. Every day the entertainment team of Giada and Jonny did their best to entertain the kids. Well done to their efforts, energy and patience!

Nothing too serious.. Indoor pool was a little cold for the kids. Our bedroom floor could have been cleaner - the kids knees were dirty from crawling. No lock on the bathroom door was a problem when you need some privacy without little kids bursting in! :D Wi-Fi - To use WiFi you have to acess a portal and fill out a form on each device. So a firestick or baby camera won't work. It happened multiple times that I was disconnected and had to fill out the form again. Also, although the Tv had YouTube and Netlfix, they had no Internet. But we didnt come to watch TV so that ok ;)

Very good organisation. Never needed to wait anywhere (restaurant, reception, sauna, kids club) even though the hotel was fully booked. Good breakfast with broad selection. Relatively close to a very nice beach with clear water and beautiful sand. Good restaurants nearby. Great rooftop terrace for adults as well as a second restaurant where kids are not allowed. We enjoyed the Halloween decorations. Someone did put a lot of effort setting it up.

The hotel parking cannot host all of the guests cars. If you arrive after 5-6 pm then you will need to find a parking spot somewhere in the village, which takes a while. Several facilities were not new/modern anymore, but still functional though.

We loved our stay at marins playa. We really don’t know what more they could offer for a family with a 6 and 8 year old. The pools are awesome and clean, the rooms are spotless and large, the entertainment was really great (especially the Michael jackson tribute) and the animation team put 100% effort into entertaining the children and keeping us fit with a swimming pool workout. The options for breakfast were plentiful and delicious and the proximity to local restaurants, beach and water sports great. We stayed for 1 week. We look forward to visiting again.

We could not fault marina playa at all.

The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk to a beautiful white sand beach. The pools were a good temperature with plenty of shallow areas for my 2 year old grandson. The kids' pool with pirate ship and slides was brilliant for keeping the kids entertained. The shop onsite was really handy. We could get all we needed, drinks, ice creams, etc. at a reasonable cost, which helped with our budget. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the food was good, we stayed half-board, and it was very reasonable. We will definitely stay again.

They dont change the pool towels (the blue ones) during your stay. We could have done with clean ones a couple of times during the week. We did bring our own towels, though, so it didn't bother us too much. 😉

The hotel was clean, tidy overall very nice. Close to beach. Would recommend this hotel. Brilliant for family's maybe a different choice for couples. Lots of children even early season . The adult only breakfast restaurant is an excellent idea. An adult only rooftop was nice. Sauna and steam room great

We paid for pool view to be placed overlooking children playarea/supermarket. We could barely see the children play splash pool (couldn't see pool) Staff in this case weren't very helpful 😕 this was disappointing but the hotel in general was excellent. . Maybe a session time for adults only for indoor pool as this was full with children constantly and may the evening children time a bit earlier allowing adult some quite evening time in the bar.

My Mrs booked this for my 30th Birthday. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had bed & breakfast and was happy with the variety on offer, especially with the freshly made omelettes. The staff were polite, helpful and charming. The facilities are amazing, from the indoor pool, the outdoor pools and the rooftop hot tubs. The shop is very good value for money and the shop staff too are always so happy and friendly. Live entertainment is wonderful and tasteful, a family/ couple friendly atmosphere. I would definitely recommend and return

The apartment was great and well cleaned every day, and the hotel was really amazing. The staff was nice. For vacation with small kids, it is great. The kids especially loved the daily time in the pool, which was really nice. The entrainment in the evening was good as well. The choice of food was huge and the prices for the drinks and the lunch menu were really fine. I would recommend this hotel.

All the tables in the restaurant were for 4 people and we were 5, so there was not enough space and it was impossible to find 2 tables next to each other. The beach is not 250 m from the hotel, from our apartment to the beach was round 15 min. The taste of food was good but not great, it could be a bit better, maybe better chefs. But overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Our apartment was nice, renovated with comfortable beds, modern bathroom, and I actually liked that we were a bit further from the main building, in a separate apartment building. Also liked the restaurant and the variety of foods in the buffet restaurant.

Since we went at the beginning of May we knew the outside pools would not be super pleasant yet. We tried the inside pool, it was way more pleasant, but very noisy and full with kids at all times.

Rooms were a good size for our family of 5, the entertainment every evening was wonderful (it starts around 8.30pm, with the main acts starting between 9-9.30pm so usually didn't finish until 10.30pm) This is later than what our kids are used to but it's just how it is in Spain which we understand. Staff were very friendly. Comprehensive food options for breakfast and dinner.

The bathroom door in our room was frosted glass and not very private.

Everything was great, really good location, lovely room very close to the pool. Really useful to have the supermarket right on site too and plenty of restaurants and shops very close by. Great facilities at the hotel, good breakfast buffet, lovely pool and just a few minutes’ walk to the sea (and about ten minutes’ walk to a beach where you can swim). Great room cleaning, hats off to the cleaning staff! I also liked that it was made so easy for guests to recycle e.g. their plastic bottles. Keen animation team. Would stay here again.
