Friendly and helpful staff made for a very comfortable stay for 6 days. Besides this, the following were fantastic bonuses: - Nestled in a beautiful green environment, with the river close by (big bonus if your travelling with a dog who likes to swim!) - Well located to explore the region, including the Covadonga lakes. - Comfortable and spacious room (suite), with a small refrigerator. - Good breakfast with several options. - Several good restaurants within 2 -5 min walking 10 - 15 min driving substance.

Wi-fi wasn’t great, but then again, it’s perfect if you want to disconnect (in)completely!

Motorbiking in the Picos, this hotel is very well located on the Western edge, away from the tourist centres like Potes. Easy access from Santander ferry, the hotel is in a small town with a couple of other restaurants, but off the beaten track so bikes are secure parking over night. Right by the river, with bridges over for pedestrians and bikes/cars, it was both central and yet rural at the same time - exactly what we were looking for. The food was good, the beer and wine reasonably priced, and the staff exceptionally helpful and friendly!! My only worry in reporting this find is that too many of you will use the hotel and that next time we go it will be much more expensive... Highly recommended

Swimming pool wasn't open - but a heatwave in early May was a bonus anyway. Otherwise, with 6 of us staying, all of us rated this hotel and it's staff as 10/10

We stayed in a block of rooms separate from the hotel. The room was adequate. The main hotel was very smart. Staff responded excellently when we had (our own) problem. Breakfasts were good. Nice quiet country location but close to restaurants. Plenty of room to walk our dog straight out from our room.

It is a beautiful accommodation in great country surroundings. It is a very welcoming and comfortable place to stay, with a great garden and pool. The staff is excellent, very friendly.

The room has this annoying green security light which is very bright during the night when you’re asleep. No fridge in the room unfortunately

Everything was perfect.

The regional products large come from the proprietors. What a great setting, great breakfast and wonderful bed. We only stayed one night on our way to Luarca. Can recommend to stay here.

Peaceful location. Big room and large bathroom. Lovely outside grounds.

Wifi not available in bedroom, only in common areas. Hairdryer broken. Expensive taking this into account.

A big spacious room with a table and a normal and a comfy chair. View over to the river. Nice location in the countryside

Room was damp as there was no heating.

The staff were very welcoming and always with a smile. Dinner simple, but very good, and did not leave hungry!

Wifi a bit slow! But one is on vacation, so ...
