Hotel Cala del Pi - Adults Only

Great facilities (spa, pool), high quality food and service at the restaurant, and the staff were always super attentive professional, and accommodating. The room was a good size, with a proper king size and heavy duty black-out curtains. I would recommend this place to friends.

The little beach as seen in the marketing pics was too busy to use. But note this is a public beach so the hotel has no control on numbers etc. However, the excellent facilities of the hotel made up for this.

One of the priciest in the area, but truly an exceptional hotel. We booked a room with full sea view. * The location is walkable to, but outside of the super-crowded Platja d'Aro town area, which was perfect. The setting is phenomenal with unobstructed sea views, framed by large pine trees and the rocky shore of the bay. When you seek a change from the pools, a small beach is easily accessible via the gate from the bottom floor of the hotel. There is a path carved into the rocks of the shore that's great to walk or even run in the mornings, all the way to the town on one end, and a few bays further on the other. * The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. * The included breakfast buffet was very good. * The facilities were excellent. The bed comfortable, the bath and shower with lots of water pressure. Even though it was August, there were always pool layers available in both sun and shade and one could usually get one of the beds on the lower level as well.

Access to the beach is a bit convoluted - it would be great for hotel guests to be able to access the beach from the exterior pool area directly. In addition, the hotel can be a bit challenging to maneuver around, and some of the rooms don't seem to be fully leveraged (example: the long corridor with furniture leading to the beach access).

All the staff are excellent, the food was really good. comfortable sun beds and plenty to choose from. The beds and pillows were so comfortable in the large spacious bedroom. Parking was right outside the front, free, which was perfect for us.

Our room was lovely but the air vent on the balcony was very noisy and on consistently.. so had to keep the balcony door closed at night. The hotel was a little bit too far out of town.

Room - very nice view from top floor. It was very comfortable and extremely clean. The cleaning people did an outstanding job. Far better than any place we have been. Breakfast was extensive and wonderful. Spa offered a lot for free (2 hours a day) plus all the usual pay services. Wife loved the massage!

Breakfast was great and the spa was exceptional. Massage was not great and the internet did not work in the whole city. The view from the pool was breathtaking.

The hotel is a little outdated

the spa was lovely and it’s on a beautiful bit of the Costa brava coast (on the Cami de Ronda). breakfast was great and staff were amazing. Room was well presented and hotel grounds lovely.

Our balcony was without view (I.e. plants in front of a fens) or sun when we went in October. soundproof rooms weren’t really soundproof (heard our neighbours talking). Gym was minimal. the mattress was a bit soft and the pillow that were standard on the bed not good (second night we used a pillow from the pillow menu and it was much better)

Beautiful location, amenities are very nice, staff is friendly, breakfast is excellent.

The cost is too high and it was clear that this drove away other potential hotel guests, as all neighbouring hotels were packed and this one was quite empty, which is a pity because it is such a nice place.

view was lovely. room very nice, shower a little small, but good water pressure. staff were friendly, professional and helpful. the location is great, parking was easy. we liked the style of the hotel, all the glass and design. very traditional but modern at the same time

our last morning we had to leave early at 8am to go to the airport. we asked for an early breakfast and requested croissants and coffee and juice. we received a cheese sandwich, which was not very nice. a banana and an apple. nothing of what we requested. it was a bit disappointing as everything else had been spot on.

the room was fantastic. the view was just like the pictures. its very high end. the food in the eating areas was out of this world. I was extremely happy with our choice.

Not all rooms are created equal. you have to get the upgraded rooms cause soon of this views are not amazing.
