Reception is small, and dark when I arrived. The door locked, but, a man quickly arrived to take my details. He didn’t attempt to speak English (and why should he; it being Spain) and I wasn’t in the mood to try to talk Spanish. He was kind enough to gesture at things and show me to my room and how to work the electricity and bedroom door. My room was an adequate size and of good standard. Seems newly refurbished. A good double bed with nice clean bedding. Tele, WIFI and air con all worked. Room is buff, white and brown; no decoration. It was very clean and fresh. The shower room is a good size with a good size cubicle. Bidet, toilet and sink. Bar of hand soap and sachets of shower gel and shampoo. Very clean. Window in the bedroom onto an internal unattractive quadrangle. Overlooked by other rooms; but, all shuttered. Bathroom window into a different yard. Equally unattractive; but, very private.

The person who ‘designed’ the shower room needs a kicking retraining. No light in the shower cubicle made it dull. The toilet is almost right up against the shower cubicle when there’s lots of space! Could have been put centrally and get rid of the bidet! The towels are big and white and clean, but, better used for exfoliating! And they change them each day despite me hanging them up. And you have to hand your key in to reception each time. To turn on the electricity you have to insert a key (very similar to a U-Lock key) and turn it. Very difficult in the dark ‘cause you have no electricity! Until you’ve inserted and turned the key!? There are no other facilities. No obvious bars within sight, but, there are within ten minutes walk. In fact there is a restaurant directly opposite.

The place was quiet, clean, safe and central . The bed was good, the water was hot. The wifi worked good. There were outlets by the bed. There was SOME varied lighting. I got a central breezeway room . It allowed lots of light and little traffic noise The guy at the front desk was friendly. I was practicing my Spanish, but he really wanted to practice his English. We ended up with me speaking Spanish and him speaking English. The checkout time is actually legitimate

The towels weren't great. Small quibble, really.

It was convenient for the train station as I was changing over from travelling by bus to travelling by train.

Very few facilities near the hotel. The town centre was a 2 or 3 km away. It was a Sunday and the town centre was very quiet with closed cafes late afternoon.

Great value but woken up at 430am by a town "fiesta" with a banging DJ. I recommend the hotel as it is good value, has friendly staff (afternoon / evening) but not Cuidad Real if you want to sleep! Why can't they end at midnight or 1am? It spoils your whole trip.

Excelent! Very nice and profissional people. I stayed in the apartment studio where I could live for 3 days with all the facilities (I’ve even cooked simple meals) and the quietness I needed. The hotel is very inspiring and beautiful with a very nice public cafe with also very nice people.

Great location. Free parking outside of hotel. Very clean & comfortable at a very reasonable price. Would recommend highly. Friendly receptionist.

No breakfast location ok 10 minute walk to cafe, shops etc. Staff great very helpful and friendly also spoke good english. Couldn't do enough for you.

Kettle or coffee available in hotel would have been good.
