Location was amazing, staff were amazing and helpful on more than one occasion. The charm of the hotel itself was great. Size of the room was adequate for what we paid and the bathrooms were also a good size, clean and had great water pressure. We enjoyed our stay.

We were in a room next to the service room, the noise from staff gathering supplies started a bit early for us and it was not subtle. Our room was an exterior room to the street directly over the entrance to the hotel and so it was a bit noisy from people going in or out. The street itself was a lot busier than I expected with lots of motorcycle/scooter traffic, taxis and service vehicles, it started early, ran all day and also ran pretty late at night. Next time we might ask for an interior room overlooking the patio area.

Amazing location next to the Mezquita, a lot or restaurants in the walking distance. Very helpful and friendly staff (they can help to organise different tours and experiences and very reasonable price). Comfortable rooms. Building with the "climate".

No shelves in wardrobes which makes life slightly difficult if you stay there several days. No parking at the hotel (but there is one or two nearby). Maybe it would be good idea to have some special deal (better pricing) with the parking... But these generally no change my excellent perception of the hotel.

The hotel is located just next to the mosque/cathedral with easy reach to other parts of Cordoba. The decor of the place is very nice with a lovely inner court yard. We opted out of the breakfast hence cannot provide any comments but am sure it would have been nice. The guy at the reception was very friendly and kept our luggage for free in the storage room once we checked out. Would definitely recommend this place to stay :)

Due to the location the hotel does not offer a car park but there are public car parks in the walking distance. About 22 euros per day which is a more convenient option to take than trying to find free street parking.

The hotel's location was great - just next to the Mezquita and in an area filled with small restaurants and cafes. Also very close to the Roman bridge and the river. The hotel was very tastefully decorated inside. Our room was on the first floor (one above ground level) and looked out over the long interior courtyard. We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel but it was very nice to come back to each night.

The chair in the bedroom made a lot of noise when you moved it. I think one of the felt pads had come off the leg.

Staff was professional and helpful. Breakfast met our expectations. Excellent location. Rustic charm decor and a very comfortable bed was a plus.

The size of the room was smaller than expected, lacking drawer space. Safe was broken and couldn't be repaired during our stay, however staff offered use of safe behind check in desk. Loud people in the lobby area could be heard up at 2nd floor room area. We feel that if the room size was bigger with better storage and a kettle to make tea in the room the rate would have been a good value.

The location was excellent, right next to the mezquita. The rooms are spacious and en suite. Very clean. The staff friendly and informative. There is an archeological site attached to the rear of the museum. Very busy area during the day. A point to note; if you arrive by car there is a controlled barrier that you have to get through to get to the hotel. There is an intercom at the barrier just inform them of your hotel and the barrier will open. Plenty of places to eat, a lot with lovely courtyards.

It is a bit noisy if you have the front rooms but that was no problem as such.

This excellent hotel is located in the heart of the Jewish Quarter, adjacent to the Grand Mosque-Cathedral and easy walking distance to the Alcazar de los Reyes (Royal Fortress) and the Puente Romano (Roman Bridge). This is not a modern hotel being built as accommodation for the mosque builders. Initially our room overlooked the southern wall of the mosque, however the safe was broken and so we were moved to a room located around a central courtyard. The room was a little smaller than some of the more modern hotels we had been staying in, but was more than adequate for our two night stay. The hotel does offer breakfast but we chose to use the small coffee shop attached to and accessible from the hotel. This was a good decision as the coffee and pastries they offered were excellent. Another bonus was that the coffee shop also served beers and wines so late afternoon or of an evening you could enjoy a drink outside. Overall a very enjoyable experience and I would use the hotel again in the future.

There was nothing to really dislike. If I was being really, really picky. The room was a little small and dark being that the only small window opened onto an internal courtyard. However, that said the room was more than suitable for our stay and I would recommend it.

Damien was incredibly helpful. when we arrived, he provided us with a map, suggestions on where to go that afternoon and the next. He gave us great advice on how to get to Gibraltar which wasn’t on Google. He solved our problems with the room

It had rained which meant that there was an unpleasant odour from the Mesquite beyond the control of the hotel. Damien acknowledged the problem and then switched our room immediately. To us, the mark of a quality place to stay is not that everything is perfect- but that the hotel remedies problems as they arise

The hotel is right behind the mosque / cathedral and a short walk to the Roman Bridge and Palace of the Kings, so walking the old walled city is easy and convenient. The building was originally constructed at the same time as the mosque around the 7th century, and used some Roman columns found on site - it has been renovated since (!) but retains heritage charm. The rooms and bathrooms are a good size. Numerous good restaurants in the vicinity.

The air conditioning controls were a bit touchy, but not much else.

location, coffee shop just downstairs, very helpful tourist office just outside, the Roman bridge is right there too.

The check in staff was not very nice or helpful. The room did not match the photo of our room, had a shower stall instead of a tub. Instead of immediately fixing this, he tried to just brush us off and assign us to a worse room, that had yet to be cleaned, on the first floor. He did not show us the map or surroundings like he did for the other guests in front of us at check in. Ultimately we got a room with bath on the second floor but it was an unnecessarily unpleasant exchange.
